Endurion
Thanks for the executable.
Is it just me or is there only the same screen over and over?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD14 → Laser of Doom

I have python 2.5.4 as that is the one that pygame requried unless you py2exe this I won't be able to run it. I thought I would try to do all the python projects but I am finding that limiting by python version issue
Exe worked fine. It is not really a good thing if you can get the high score of your game by putting a rock on the right arrow key.. :)
If you had had time to add (random?) paths/mazes to run through I think this would have been pretty interesting.
28.18 seconds on level 16 btw.
Can't run, and I have python/pygame/pyglet installed. Can you py2exe it?
It's boring!
(nice to hear that you got something good out of it though)
I get an error:
pyglet.gl.ContextException: Unable to share contexts.
I can see this being amusing with some more varied levels, but like Endurion, I just get the same room over and over, which means that holding right until you eventually die is the optimal strategy... (I made 28.04 seconds.) I guess you ran out of time for making levels?
I just got the first room endlessly repeating too. Is there supposed to be more? As it is it's not fun at all since you're just holding down the right arrow key for as long as you bother to, but with some levels and obstacles and stuff this could've been a nice game probably. Too bad you didn't have time for more!
I survived for 28 seconds by holding the right key down. Not terribly exciting. I liked the way the walls disappeared when the laser crossed them.
It's an ok start, but it really needs more levels. Without them, it's extremely repetitive, but otherwise good.
yay windows exe, but unstable.. good use of theme, needs levels
Only 1 level? I guess the advancing wall of deadline caught up with you in 172800 seconds. :)
Haha, well, I'm glad the competition was inspiring.
Right arrow ftw! :)
28:14.. level 16. Is this a joke? :)
You basically just hold the right arrow right or am I missing something? Heh.
I know.. you likely ran out of time. Anyway.. as I was sitting there for my half-minute I did enjoy watching the laser beam zap the tiny blocks away. Plus, just once I had to run into the beam to see what would happen. I'm glad you took that moment to question my stamina. :)
