Oct 20 04:49:31 Clam Hunters ♥ 2 I really like the monster designs and the 2.5D look you went for. Controls also feel smooth. From a gameplay point of view, I guess there could be more ways for the player or otters to interact with each other and the environment. Would be fun to see how the game could be scaled up for a bigger world (yes I want to have an army of otters).
Oct 20 05:17:40 28m 09s Mystry Tample ♥ 0 I am personally not a huge fan of point and click games. However, the artwork is pretty!
Oct 20 06:06:59 49m 19s Bunker-88 ♥ 2 It was super fun solving the puzzles! As someone else said, it would be nice to be able to explore the bunker aside from the puzzles. I like the atmosphere in both the puzzle and walking sections. I also like how despite the fact that 3D and pixel art look so different, the 3D sections do not feel out of place here.
Oct 20 06:34:03 27m 04s The Abacus: Hellraiser ♥ 4 Very fun game. I love how the skeleton is vibing all the the time. Great visuals too!
Oct 22 19:15:40 60h 41m Pneumopolis ♥ 1 I like the art style but I think adding a simple scoring system (maybe something based on the number of pipes used) could motivate the player to find better solutions instead of settling on a solution that works. Cool implementation of the theme!
Oct 22 19:35:54 20m 14s Rogue Cove ♥ 1 Super cool vibe! Love the dithering and the whole atmosphere of the game.
Oct 22 19:54:28 18m 34s Booji ♥ 1 Really cozy vibe! I had fun taking pictures.
Oct 22 20:16:00 21m 32s Jam Boy ♥ 0 Funny boombox man fight i like. Kick alien asses. But could have more music during fight :(.
Oct 23 10:19:31 14h 03m B-K1ND ♥ 1 This is one of the best games I have played in this ludum dare. I really like the time rewind mechanic and the movement is smooth. If I really had to nit-pick, I'd say the keyboard controls were a little frustrating but the game felt very good to play with a controller. The jumping across the gap using a copy of yourself is a great idea for a level but I feel it was a little painful to execute (as someone who doesn't play platformers, so could just be a skill issue on my part). Maybe, making the copy float for just a little longer at its last position before it vanishes would help? I love the crisp pixel art and the variety in levels is also great. Really enjoyed playing this!
Oct 23 10:40:44 21m 13s Robobobo ♥ 3 I really like the sprites (especially the boss). The controls took some time to get used to but overall fun game.
Oct 23 17:57:51 7h 17m The Last Rewinder ♥ 1 Love the atmosphere and the movie references!
Oct 23 18:10:24 12m 33s 27MHz ♥ 0 very fun driving the cars but i dont have friends to share my tape with 😰
Oct 23 18:23:27 13m 03s The Old Techmongery ♥ 1 Super relaxing playing this. I liked the futuristic setting and I feel that could definitely be expanded on (maybe have futuristic elements in the shop as well?). If the shop were to be made to be more "full" and have a greater variety of shapes for the different parts, I can imagine myself sinking hours at a time playing the game!
Oct 23 19:09:39 46m 12s Tomb of green cup ♥ 1 Currently, burning the vines feels somewhat inconsistent. I feel the game could maybe lean into more movement based gameplay and add obstacles and timers maybe? Definitely has potential to have a funner game loop. I like the environment and graphics!
Oct 23 19:29:50 20m 11s Hold, Please! ♥ 1 I like the game idea and it is fun to play. But some locations aren't marked but calls for that location still come? With more polish, more places and more possible calls, it can definitely be a great game.
Oct 23 19:47:00 17m 10s FACEPAGE: Old Internet ♥ 0 Very interesting take on the theme. I like the different ways the player has to interact with the game. Would have loved to see some old memes though!
Oct 24 17:41:36 21h 54m MiniRPG ♥ 1 Very cool entry! I love your implementation of the theme. Would love to see perhaps bigger entities (like 3x3 or 4x4) to represent boss fights or whatever. This has a lot of potential! Good job.
Oct 25 10:40:11 16h 58m Slam Duck ♥ 0 Nice game for your first jam! The gameplay loop did get repetitive quickly though. I really like the elephant (I think?) character.
Oct 25 10:58:33 18m 22s CrossbowThing ♥ 0 This was very fun to play. I love the pathfinding of the enemies as they hide behind trees before creeping up to you.
Oct 25 11:08:53 10m 20s Semaphore ♥ 0 Very interesting gameplay loop. It was super engaging and I suppose it fits the theme too (and as others pointed out, it would fit the last theme as well lol). Good work!
Oct 25 11:25:11 16m 18s The Lamplighter ♥ 1 I really like the cozy vibe and the simple artstyle. It is sad though that the sprites are AI modified even if only slightly :(. In my opinion, some artefacts and mistakes in the art are more welcome than AI modified art. Good entry though!
Oct 25 11:43:25 18m 14s LOKOMOTIV ♥ 0 I really like the art style and the interior of the train. You have also represented the train speeding up and slowing down really well!
