DUDE i played this game for an hours because the jumping controls where a little funky... AND I LOVED IT!!! Of course they're funky because you're a decapitated robo bobo head on a spring. it made me laugh. once my brain became accustomed to the jump function i became so engrossed in the game play. i think a mini boss health bar or life counter weould make the boss fight less amorphously daunting, but other wise it was a 10/10 little platform game experience! long live ROBO BOBO
Mandatory victory screen:
Control scheme took some getting used to: I think I would have had an easier time if the walljumps were more controllable. Once I figured out how to get the full height on my jumps, the boss went down pretty quick. Well done!
Hahaha. I had a very similar project, but I abandoned it, xDD. But I like this particular implementation too. Everything looked very nice and stylish. And it was fun to play + well done for not skimping on checkpoints.
I really like the sprites (especially the boss). The controls took some time to get used to but overall fun game.
Slowly got the hang of the controls, fun little game!
Ooh that was fun! I also made a bouncy game, but this is a whole other (and better) take on it! Would have loved to be able to play with the arrow keys as well. Didn't manage to beat the boss. Cool and coherent graphics, and nice sound effects.
Great job!
