| Oct 20 15:38:58 | Neolithica | ♥ 1 | What a nice surprise this game was! :) I really like the response for hitting enemies. It felt very "juicy" to hit the animals. I really had fun with that. I also like the transition to night and that you get new gear to play with (for example the spear). Going with a simplistic graphic is a fine choice. But for me the more "realistic" background does not fit to the style of the other things. Giving the trees and stones a little bit of details (like you did with the animals) wouldn't take much time, but would lift the visuals. The gameplay was easy to understand and it's nice that you have a counter at the end. I also like the introduction UGAH UGAH. :D | |
| Oct 20 15:56:21 | 17m 23s | Data | ♥ 2 | Interesting escape-room concept. :) I am not the biggest escape-room person, but I think most of the hints are very fair. As others have mentioned, the bluriness is to much for the eyes. Apart from that I like the overall graphics of the game. The atmosphere felt creepy to me. At first, I thought I was going to play a horror game, but I was relieved when I realized it was actually a puzzle-solving game. :D |
| Oct 20 16:00:31 | 4m 10s | Out Of Frame | ♥ 3 | Very cool idea. The controls and gameplay feel intuitive to use and I like the little details like calling a number. :) Some areas felt a little bit empty, but maybe I was missing something. The visuals are really great. Nice characters and the overall style is really beautiful. Only the "tutorial screen" after the main menue felt a little bit off, because it was just violet background colour. Apart from that the graphics are so nicely done. I really like how you have an endscreen with your accused murderer. The acoustic feedback for getting clues was nicely implemented and I really like the concept, that you can put the clues on the board, which helps to sort them. Nice entry! :) |
| Oct 20 16:55:40 | 55m 09s | The Last Route | ♥ 1 | Wow, what an amazing game! Just lost my first run, but had to write the comment now. What a polish for a COMPO-game. The visuals and audio are excellent. The QOL-things like putting the time to normal speed when an event pops up is a good little detail. And the overall atmosphere is incredible! This will be one of the best placed COMPOs this year, I am pretty sure. Very good job! :) |
| Oct 20 17:16:27 | 20m 47s | Siege Engineers | ♥ 2 | Very fun game! It is a lot of fun getting the soldiers to the flags. :) The archer on the tower seemed a little bit bugged or placed wrong, because when he wanted to shoot my soldiers, he just shot his tower. The feedback on the other hand, when you destroy the tower, is very satisfying! :) Did one of your team members made the music? The checkpoints were fairly placed and the gameplay offered a lot of variety. I also like the visuals of the game. Everything was fitting. |
| Oct 20 17:26:04 | 9m 37s | Pinball "Repair" SIMULATOR | ♥ 1 | Fun little game. I like the detail, that the controls are explained on the side of the machine itself. :) As @william-corrin mentioned having some more elements in the pinball machine itself would be great or maybe playing with two balls at once or stuff like that. The audio is fitting and I like the visual feedback you get, when you get an electric shock. Congrats for finishing your project. :) |
| Oct 21 13:21:55 | 19h 55m | Obsolete Absolute | ♥ 0 | This is an interesting gameloop with a lot of potential. I like the visuals. Everything fits together and I like the work on the animations. :) As some people mentioned the game was also too grindy for me (a lot of backtracking to the machine). Having more visual and audio feedback for getting hit or hitting enemies would also lift up the gameplay. The feedback was not strong enough for my taste. I like how the character puts his ressources automatically into the machine and the chest looting felt also very smooth. I like the variety of enemies and ground "obstacles" like the mud. And the upgrade system was also implemented very well (dinosaur!). :) |
| Oct 21 13:41:34 | 19m 39s | Stardust | ♥ 1 | Very smooth gameplay. Getting the currency (stars) at the end to spend it on new upgrades was very satisfying. :) For my personal taste the movement felt to slow (maybe it will get faster, but I'm talking about the first round). The upgrade tree was presented in a clear way and gives a motivation to start over again. I like the atmosphere created by the sound effects. :) |
| Oct 21 14:05:20 | 23m 46s | Scavenger | ♥ 1 | I like the grappling mechanic. In the old Worms games always my favorite thing. ;) I also adore the sprite of the main character. For my personal taste I would have prefered a handmade level instead of different seeds. The "leap of faith" as @tayho has mentioned was very frustrating. Creating a handmade level could have avoided that. I also would have liked a stronger audio feedback for the grappling. Apart from that the game mechanic was simple to understand and the atmosphere with the lights and overall colours is very cool. :) |
| Oct 21 14:09:09 | 3m 49s | REWIND 3000 | ♥ 2 | Stylish auto-clicker! Theme fits well with the tape. One detail I really liked: When you pause the game, the tape stops spinning. Nice! :) |
| Oct 21 14:41:25 | 32m 16s | Coup of Appliance | ♥ 1 | Wow, what a cool little RPG! :) I have nothing to complain. The visuals are stylish, the characters nicely done and the music very fitting. The story and the end boss was also done very well. I found the difficulty perfect, although you have a lot of items, but thats fine for a jam game. The controls feel very good. The fights work very well. I like the detail, that some characters comment on things like the penguin did. What I also really adore is the humor in this game. Starting with the alarm with it's beep attacks down to Jesus Christ. :D Excellent game, congrats! |
| Oct 23 10:51:07 | 44h 09m | One Bad Mushroom | ♥ 1 | I like the visuals and the overall level design. The gameplay is easy to understand. For my liking, the pace was a little bit slow. Maybe having a sprint button would make things better. The overall controls felt good. My favorite part is that you can actually identify the looks on the mushroom while walking around the world, so u can directly avoid for example a yellow coloured mushroom. I was curious to see what happens when you poison the village. Was worth it. :D |
| Oct 23 14:48:51 | 3h 57m | Who is Nana? | ♥ 2 | Sorry for asking, but your comment on my game felt like an empty AI response, so I checked your game and something seems off. How is it possible that you (one person) already rated 165 games!? It's nice that people enjoy your game, that is a great thing. But it looks to me like "karma-farming" with the help of shallow comments on other games without playing them properly. Is there an explanation for this? |
| Oct 24 10:54:12 | 20h 05m | Full Steam Ahead! | ♥ 0 | Haha, what a great little game. :D I just have one suggestion: I tried pressing UP/W while I was on the water. I didn't get the mechanic is just for the space section and on my first tries, I always chrashed in the beginning of the space and I thought I shouldn't be there. Fortunately I tried it more times and finally got the real game. :D Maybe it was just me, but a hint during space would be great. Or did I missed it? UPDATE: Ah your opening GIF on this page gave me the impression that you should stay on water. As other people mentioned the lines of the captain are such a nice touch! I think the captain would not be happy with my smiling reaction to his lines. :D The controls felt good and the sprites are working well together. Congrats for finishing your project in a good time! :) |
| Oct 25 19:00:54 | 32h 06m | G.O.D. | ♥ 0 | Just like with your last game, I had fun playing your new entry. :) I really like the transition from the 3D world to the tiny worlds, with just a small visual change. I'm not sure if I like the fact that upgrades need to be printed and inserted. It felt a bit tedious to me, but that's just personal taste. I like the sprites and aesthetics of your little workers. Your last game looked good, but this one definitely looks even better. :) |
| Oct 26 14:51:54 | 19h 51m | One Meowment, Please | ♥ 1 | Interesting game concept. I had fun playing it. :) The visuals are nice and I really like the detail, that the menu-screen is also in the style of the main game with putting a cable into a hole. A timer would have been great to see how much time is left. You could do that by adding a clock into the game screen, so it would fit the style and there still wouldn't be a "classic UI". The audio effects were a nice addition. It was nice hearing the cats talking. :) For me the difficulty was good. Level 1 is a good entry level. Level 2 is maybe too easy, so I would continue with 3, but on the other side it was very good, that I could choose all levels right at the beginning. Great job! |
