| Oct 20 06:47:20 | TrainManager77 | ♥ 0 | Oof ouch owie my brain--I'm bad enough at driving a single vehicle at once. Doing it three times at the same time has me worried about my triple insurance rates. Fun game concept! | |
| Oct 21 03:24:02 | 20h 36m | Hammer or Dice | ♥ 2 | A nice and simple push-your-luck sort of game! I like the risk-reward of hammering dice until they might shatter. My only complaint is that the levels are too easy... for the vast vast majority of the game, I just rolled straight to a win without needing the hammer. (Also a small bug.. if you click to submit while holding the hammer, it ends up smacking some dice near the bottom of the table!) Still, a fun little gambler's game... you did a good job making the hammer impact feel juicy |
| Oct 21 03:27:34 | 3m 32s | Telerhythm | ♥ 1 | Guitar Hero is out... say hello to Morse Hero I enjoyed the challenge of trying to map left- and right-side keys to top- and bottom-side telegraph tracks, but ouch my brain. I did substantially better after rotating my keyboard, haha. Nice little rhythm game that also reminded me of playing the piano a bit... brought childhood memories of drilling small scales and exercises that sounded pretty similar. Nicely done! |
| Oct 21 03:46:23 | 18m 49s | Apteka | ♥ 4 | Very great work on the environment and mood--you really get a sense of the time period from the art assets you've compiled! Also something about the clicky UI noise is satisfying to me. I received no demerits by post; my family survives another night. I do enjoy these sorts of games of operating a complex user manual under time pressure--very well done! |
| Oct 21 04:20:26 | 34m 03s | UNCALLED FOR | ♥ 1 | Awesome little puzzle game! The little Source engine 'doot' sound when you did an invalid interaction awoke neurons in my brain that I thought were long, long gone... I enjoyed my PRERELEASE TESTING experience. My only one complaint is off ouch owie my ears after dialing the number... that was a physical flinch from me, haha. Very cool game, great aesthetics, and awesome atmosphere. Super impressive for a jam--Nicely done! |
| Oct 21 04:28:07 | 7m 41s | Decom Protocol | ♥ 3 | Who do I talk to about unionizing? I work all day--ALL DAY--with hard labor, tossing scrap into the places it goes, and the boss just dangles a promotion over my head like a carrot on a stick. I'm tired of empty promises of promotion... I want my respect now, or I walk (into the incinerator) |
| Oct 21 04:32:57 | 4m 50s | Waste Not Robot | ♥ 0 | I loved all the little robot frens I made, even if they had feet for a face :) or should I say :🦶) |
| Oct 21 04:40:07 | 7m 10s | Observatory 85 | ♥ 1 | What an awesome climbing game! Reminds me a bit of some of the climbing mechanics in VR games, though of course this one is in 2D delivery. The environment and art was really cool, and the climbing mechanic felt very well realized. Impressively done, and this would make for an excellent full game (if there were some way to checkpoint progress frequently on larger maps, of course). The places this game drops you far behind and erases lots of progress can be a bit of a bummer. Still, awesome job! |
| Oct 21 04:46:32 | 6m 25s | Analog Overdrive | ♥ 1 | Woah, the visual juice and style of this game is ridiculous. I absolutely love the level of polish, and it's all the more impressive you've managed to achieve it in such a short time... Trianglus was a scrub who never stood a chance, but Squaresley blew me to pieces and humbled me as a human being. I was going to say "Amazing work from your team!!" only to realize it was a solo effort. Most impressive game of the jam so far!! |
| Oct 21 04:50:58 | 4m 26s | Mr. Duck | ♥ 4 | Mr. Duck is so cool I wish he were my real father 😔 I absolutely love the aesthetic you've built here. Amazing art direction with stellar assets, and the gameplay is not something I've ever seen before. Really really cool stuff!! (Now if only I were any good at this game....) |
| Oct 21 05:38:25 | 47m 27s | Ritual Journal | ♥ 1 | It took a few tires for me to really understand what was going on, but this was a cool little game! Reminds me of a nice and thematic bit of solitaire, though it's not really that... either way, I do love the art style, and mechanics were eventually nice and intuitive to figure out. I sure hope my future child does not look like the illustration... |
| Oct 21 05:51:06 | 12m 41s | HYPNAGOGIA FRONT | ♥ 3 | I really dig the visuals and art direction here! The control scheme is a bit challenging to reckon with at first--forward actually marching the player backwards is a bit confusing--but once you realize it's basically a labyrinth you solve backwards, it's easy enough to turn 180 degrees at junctions to scout the road ahead. Very interesting atmosphere and story you've built--top marks for the eerie mood! |
