Oct 19 22:56:28 Living Scraps ♥ 2 The visuals are, as always for your games, wonderful. It's absolutely loaded to the brim with personality. It's short but that's not necessarily a bad thing for an LD entry. I couldn't bring myself to scrap the sad robot, I felt too sorry for it! Eliciting an emotional response is a sure sign of quality so well done there. Lovely stuff.
Oct 20 11:33:12 12h 36m Polasnap ♥ 1 Very relaxing and "zen" game with plenty of polish. I like the variety in the monsters and the photography mechanic is really lovely to interact with. Well done.
Oct 20 12:16:29 43m 17s The Cybersaga ♥ 1 Awesome stuff; I was really engrossed in the story. Great usage of the theme. I think my main criticism is that there's no immediate feedback when you fully complete the game other than the small (barely noticeable) text at the top of the blog page that says "Your series on the Eidolon Cybersaga is complete". Might have been nice to get one final "You did it!" email. All in all, I had a great time. Well done.
Oct 20 13:02:07 45m 38s Black Box of Light ♥ 2 That was great! Most of my thoughts are for things I'm presuming you want people to figure out, so I've got it in a spoiler tag. !>It took a while to figure out that the aperture was adjustable by grabbing a red handle mid-air, but once I did that, everything clicked into place. The ending was great too, I love how the music starts off completely silent and then gradually comes in and builds and builds.
Oct 20 18:28:43 5h 26m Pinball "Repair" SIMULATOR ♥ 1 I lasted just over 3 minutes before the repairs got too out of hand. Great stuff, it was nice to play something arcadey. The recorded sound effects added to the authenticity - well done!
Oct 20 18:34:54 6m 11s Resentful Relayer 2B ♥ 1 Unfortunately it isn't running for my Linux build as WINE seems unhappy with it.
Oct 20 18:53:08 18m 14s The Power Glove Odyssey ♥ 1 That was a fun mashup of a couple of retro arcade games. Had a lot of fun with it - there's some weird UI behaviour in the upgrades screen but nothing to stop me from having a good time. Bonus points for no AI :)
Oct 20 19:08:10 15m 02s Old VS Tech ♥ 1 I don't know if it's because I'm playing on Linux via WINE, but I'm getting NullReferenceExceptions, and after some weird glitchiness with the robots on level 2 the game just kind of... goes nowhere? It's a shame because I want to see the rest of the game, I have a feeling I feel a strong affinity for your protagonist character
Oct 20 19:16:27 8m 17s Dr Break Boom Invaders ♥ 1 Oh boy my brain hurts now. Great stuff, the CRT effect is... *chef's kiss*
Oct 20 19:36:04 19m 37s Hold the Line ♥ 2 Wonderful game, such a simple premise too - "switchboard operator papers please". I don't think I have any complaints, it was great.
Oct 20 19:52:51 16m 47s OadText ♥ 1 I feel like a small child again, sat down in front of the television pressing buttons again and again in hopes that they will register. Unbelievable what you've achieved here. I didn't read the description before going in so when the QR code appeared and I scanned it, you wouldn't believe the grin on my face. I love it.
Oct 20 20:06:39 13m 48s Magic Abacus ♥ 1 I love a good mental arithmetic challenge. Very nice and polished.
Oct 20 20:32:42 26m 03s Punch Corp ♥ 1 Great puzzle game, it was lovely to think in terms of binary addition, haven't done that in ages.
Oct 20 21:52:50 1h 20m Train-O-Matic 3000™ ♥ 1 That was very nice - I think the fact that my time was recorded led me to try and multitask which caused the mistakes that made it interesting. Perhaps if there was also time limits it would amp up the intensity? But overall I really liked it, it was a well designed puzzle game.
Oct 20 22:08:52 16m 02s Grassland ♥ 0 Cool concept - I like how the main gameplay doesn't make itself immediately obvious until you have that conversation about pineap-.. I mean, ananas. It would have been nice to have some sort of audio but I understand how hard it is to make anything with such a time limit so well done!
Oct 20 22:57:52 49m 00s Plug In & Out ♥ 1 Managed 25 calls before bombing out. That was a lot of hectic fun. I like the gossip giving you a reason to take in the whole of someone's message and not just the name. I would have liked for some mouse sensitivity controls, but other than that it was a smooth experience. Well done!
Oct 21 12:34:28 13h 36m H.U.R.L ♥ 0 Not a hugely deep game but mechanically it really works well. Definitely brings me back to similar games in the DOS/early Windows era.
Oct 22 22:53:24 34h 18m The Base for Old Creations ♥ 1 As others have said, a very strange entry. I'm afraid to say I did use the hints on the Itch page - not all of them were too intuitive but I suppose if it was too easy the game would be over in 2 minutes! I do like the Martian landscape out the window, it definitely contributed to the overall surrealism.
Oct 23 10:56:59 12h 03m Light Seeker ♥ 1 I love the puzzle design. Sometimes the plugs overlap on top of each other and then it's a bit annoying to pick up the right one, and I've definitely also noticed some softlock states (which are, granted, mitigated by the "reset to checkpoint" button), but it feels really clean and polished. Very nice.
