Apr 24 00:02:12 For Boom The Bell Tolls ♥ 1 Hahaha this game is awesome! I loved all the voice acting and characters. The physical bells are a funny gag. IO think one of the bell sequences on the wall is missing a number (3) but I intuited it because it's the classic doorbell jingle... 43211342! Nice work!
Apr 24 00:08:13 6m 01s Signal of the Dead ♥ 1 Nice work, fun gameplay loop! I liked the graphics, they remind me of Earthbound. I wish there was maybe one more extra mechanic or something to set it further apart from Vampire Survivors but this is very impressive for a solo game!
Apr 24 00:18:16 10m 03s Remote pest control specialist ♥ 2 Cool game! I liked switching between the drone and the car. Addicting core game loop. Nice work!
Apr 24 03:42:51 3h 24m On Ivy Boulevard ♥ 3 This is awesome, high marks! I agree with @mr-sun some screenshots at the end would be stellar. The music in this game is so good and the graphics are really fun. Just spitballing, maybe it could be cool to flesh out the player character in a post jam game - why am I spying on people, etc? Kinda reminds of Harry Caul in the Conversation or something haha. Great work!
Apr 27 04:38:14 72h 55m Out There ♥ 2 Really cool game! Loved the aesthetic and shaders, the monitors were cool. Nice topographical map. I made it to the end! Makes me want to know what else is out there... could be cool to see more mars rover activities if you ever worked on it more : D collect samples with the 6DOF arm + drill, use your xray/surface radar, etc... throw in some spooky ancient civilization stuff or something... hah It did take me a slightly embarrasingly long amount of time to figure out what was actually ore at the very start lol. And I agree with other folks, a little indication of if your next repeater node would connect would be awesome. Really great work!
Apr 27 04:56:47 18m 33s 🗦◎🗧 ♥ 0 Super interesting. The shell shader for the depth trick works really well here. Super atmospheric with just a few sounds and graphics, love it - reminds me of playing games like Tunic and Metroid. I got really OP and was just blasting through levels at the end, it was fun. I actually think it could be cool to have an ending, or some north star to keep ur little dude pushing forward. Like searching some creepy pulsing signal or something. Fantastic work! Also, for some odd reason, perf started degrading after about 20 min or so on firefox, but that could just be a weird firefox thing...
Apr 27 05:06:10 9m 23s 99 Penalty Kicks ♥ 1 Hah this is awesome, great interpretation of the theme! Very fun learning all the new mechanics. Nice graphics and audio! The little bits of story justification were pretty funny. Those damn hecklers bringing their space pistols in... Nice work : )
Apr 27 05:11:38 5m 28s Unsent ♥ 1 Cool game! I liked the character design and tactile buttons on the interface. Reminded me a bit of Voices of the Void/Signal Simulator. The FOV adjustment when you walk was a bit nauseating for me though haha. Great work
Apr 29 07:48:48 50h 37m U.F.GO ♥ 2 Very cute game! Love to see a fellow UFO game : ) The graphics and concept were very cute. One thing I might suggest is potentially some more confirmation noises when you get it on the beat - it was very confusing to me at first haha. Cool design though I have never seen a rhythm game where you're trying to also strategically manage something like this! Great work
Apr 29 07:52:56 4m 08s The Beacon ♥ 1 Really cool atmosphere and graphical direction. Loved the music as well, did you compose it? Very cool stuff! I am not great at Myst-em-ups but I struggled through the puzzles here haha. Nice work!
Apr 29 08:10:05 17m 09s ENIGMAUS ♥ 2 I love games like this. Really nice work with the level design and overall alien nature of the game, it feels like it was beamed here from another planet. Kinda gives me Jazzpunk and Ratboy Genius vibes. I do wish I the cheese spinning controls were more precise and the cheese slicing edge more obvious... it feels like the cheese spin circle should have each mouse-to-cheese-center vector map to a unique cheese spin angle, whereas right now it seems like I can only spin it 180 degrees or so. Nice work!
Apr 29 08:17:14 7m 09s Safe Haven ♥ 1 Very fun character designs! Cool concept that I'd like to see pushed even further somehow, but it works here as a little arcadey experience. Maybe just being able to click and drag them around would help? It would be funny if it sorta became a little solar system of lighthouse girl gravitational push and pull. Nice work!
Apr 29 08:33:57 16m 43s Canopy ♥ 1 Wooow cool stuff! The atmosphere is really nice, I love the weird boxy trees and cicadas. You have a good eye for color as well! Actually I think this game would look really nice with some slightly weirder lighting to make the lighting as weird as the rest of the game, visually... maybe vertex lighting or some other custom solution? The game was fun albeit a little simplistic - I would have loved if the grapple had a swinging arc mechanic or something or if you had to chain multiple grapples together. The player controller is a bit stiff as well and could use some light acceleration blending and whatnot to make it feel smoother. On the design side it seems the game rotates between collecting fireflies and then grappling, but these two separate activities rarely played off of one another besides the firefly unlocking the next grapple point... I just wish there was one more gameplay element that tied everything together, I think. Maybe if the game was not linear, fireflies could be scattered around a small open map, with certain areas obviously blocked off, and you must find the fireflies to unlock grapple points to access new areas, and then finally you find green fireflies or something at the end of each hub-and-spoke that help assemble the final path at the end or something? Idk, just spitballing! You were absolutely flexing on us with the sound design though, the game sounds fantastic. Really nice work, I played it all the way through!
Apr 29 20:30:30 11h 56m I Had No Signal! ♥ 1 Awesome game! Having to use my phone to see the dude was really tense. I'm really glad you allowed it to make footstep noises when it is near lol. The audio in general here is great. Actually the monster ended up guiding me to the tower haha it's not so scary when you're stalking it! Great atmosphere. I'm not sure if this is a feature already but it would be kinda diabolical if you made it so that the monster sees you more easily when you have your phone flash on or something, giving you one more reason to use it sparingly... Nice work!
Apr 29 20:33:52 3m 22s The Lighthouse ♥ 1 The V/A here is awesome. Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful art! Love the LucasArts vibes. Really great work!
May 1 02:33:53 30h 00m Federal Bureau of Dance ♥ 0 Hilarious idea! I liked mixing the tracks a lot. Very funny character designs overall as well. The movement felt pretty good and it made me want a little more feedback on the shooting (and maybe an aiming reticle perhaps) - feels like it needs a little bit more game juice. Really nice work!
May 1 02:42:01 8m 08s THE HORSE WE MADE ♥ 2 Very cool. Reminded me a bit of LSD Dream Emulator, yall should do the LSDJAM this year if you get the chance! The soccer/football field reminded me of the game Despelote. Really enjoyed my time once I figured it out!
May 1 03:00:18 18m 17s Crude Food ♥ 1 Super funny game! I really struggled with memorizing crap because I'm not good at that in general but it was fun to experiment to find new stuff. The hunger bar depleting seemed so fast sometimes though, I was really struggling to do anything most of the time lol. Great atmosphere and audio. Nice work!
May 1 03:17:50 17m 32s WORLD5 ♥ 1 Some of the coolest music I've heard in a jam game. I found the blackbox! Awesome overall aesthetic, just wish there was more. Interesting game!
May 1 03:28:11 10m 21s Invisible ♥ 0 Fun game! I loved the ability to see the steps i took in previous runs, all sokoban games should have that. Some of the puzzles were freaking hard! Nic work : )
