Oct 7 01:53:00 Planet Extraction ♥ 1 Per management's request, here is a snapshot of my success: Screenshot 2025-10-06 at 6.49.49 PM.png Really great entry! The chill music and sounds were great, the art was cohesive and a great color palette. Really like the take on the theme, and enjoyed the mild incremental almost factory elements. Really liked the manual collection, the juice when the resource flys up and into the cursor was great. Good job!
Oct 7 02:40:26 47m 26s Submerged ♥ 1 Nice! Very chill but fun. Encountered a bug? at the end™. I was able to press e to get the treasure, but it didn't do anything? or deposit at the boat. Still fun though. Screenshot 2025-10-06 at 7.38.52 PM.png
Oct 7 06:15:03 3h 34m If I Ran the (Alien) Zoo ♥ 1 I had the same idea! Y'all executed on it brilliantly. I really liked all the sounds for each of the types; it added a lot of character and much needed drama. I also really liked the animated UFO sprite, it looks exactly like what I think a UFO should be. Great job!
Oct 7 16:53:40 10h 38m Monsters in Jars ♥ 1 It was fun watching all the effects resolve! The big guy at the end was really a cool idea! Screenshot 2025-10-07 at 9.48.41 AM.png I do wish the jar draw was slickly higher so I had to make more decisions about what not to put on the board. Great entry! Didn't realize this was a compo... wow amazing.
Oct 7 23:37:46 6h 44m Catch a Critter ♥ 1 Really fun! Took a few tries, but got all of them, even the bomb bug (it deserves a spot in the journal too...) It's trying its best, and succeeding... Screenshot 2025-10-07 at 4.30.57 PM.png The music was jammin', art was adorable, the bugs were zaggin'. It's great. My one frustration, was that when my catch overlapped multiple things it didn't get both. I'd expect that if it were to only get one it would get the unknown then , highest scoring, then bomb. Part of my frustration came from the bomb bugs being very good at their job, and zagging randomly into an already clicked safe area. Excellent entry. Edit: High score was 350; slowing down is a good way to get a higher score 😄
Oct 9 05:59:33 30h 21m The Witch Chef ♥ 2 Got all but Bone APPéTiT... tried to brute force it but to no avail...alas it is still unknow to me. The art is great and it was fun flinging the ingredients into the pot. Nice polish. I agree with others that it would be nice for the ingredients to at least be discoverable, especially since there are 18 recipes out of 720 possible combinations. The art for each was very good, though the results felt inconsistent. e.g. bone doesn't always equal bread. (as far as I can tell..). I was really trying to win, but had to give up when brute force didn't seem to find it. Great entry. (Played for 20+ min...)
Oct 11 21:19:46 63h 20m Klunk's Adventure ♥ 1 Great job on making it feel cohesive. I really nails the original monochrome GameBoy vibe. The music, the art, and the game play all felt like they belonged together; and to have many different music tracks and bugs was impressive. Great entry. I did die a lot to the spikes though... but I'm terrible at platforming.
Oct 11 21:32:53 13m 07s Magnet Boy ♥ 1 Nice! Music was boppin' Screenshot 2025-10-11 at 2.29.46 PM.png
Oct 11 23:00:42 1h 27m Halloween Knight ♥ 1 Good game, Pump-kid. I got to phase two of Bumpkin but even though the health bar looked empty he didn't take damage... died once I got off the hands. Funny twist though.
Oct 12 05:47:28 6h 46m Stargazer ♥ 1 I doubt it's a good score since I wasn't able to collect many of the official constellations, but I was able to make some cool new ones 😄 Screenshot 2025-10-11 223919.png
Oct 12 06:19:32 32m 04s Happy Cleaning Co. ♥ 4 I do like fish. Screenshot 2025-10-11 231540.png Amazing. I really liked how the vacuum felt, and how versatile it was. I really found the characters and the voice acting to be funny, great job. I did find the jump affected by weight unexpected as the text describing that is high up in the level... but once I found that out it all made sense. Lots of fun!
Oct 12 06:43:45 24m 13s $ECURITY CHECK ♥ 0 I really like the vibe you were going for. I didn't know for a while that you could rotate the items; so failed many times -- glad I could restart. I found that items often didn't fit where I thought they would, it would have been helpful to have an outline for both what is already in the box and what is being dropped in. Similarly it seems like the best move is to try to fit almost everything in the bin; it would be interesting to have way more items than what can fit in the bin, and have to remove items. Screenshot 2025-10-11 233614.png As a heads up, another issue I noticed was that there isn't a progress bar or logo or anything while the game is loading on itch.io; it looked broken. I saw your zoom comment and thought that was it, but when I went back it had loaded.
Oct 12 07:01:30 17m 45s Dragon Hoard ♥ 1 I like this take on the theme! I like how it made my health both visible and multi dimensional. It makes me wonder if pushing my hoard together is better than keeping it a bit spread out. Good job! Screenshot 2025-10-11 235624.png
Oct 12 07:20:07 18m 37s Lil'Jones 2: The Collector's Tomb ♥ 1 Wasn't sure if I needed to play the original first... so played that. Sure hope legally distinct Lil' Jones is able to get away from that boulder and reunite with his son? I liked the idea of picking up items and putting them into the box, but it seems to me like there should have been a cost to missing one or a reason to not pick one up (other than it not fitting). I got to level 6, but it seems like other than the grid getting bigger there isn't an increase in difficulty (unless I am missing something!) Good entry, looking forward to the third installment!
Oct 12 16:28:34 9h 08m Overemployed Empire ♥ 1 Sure does feel like this sometimes. I think the upgrade system worked very well as it let me control the complexity and build my economy. I was never fired from a job as a result. I like how the minimal murmur sound builds into a crowd sound. The Windows NT inspired setting felt right too; the small simple windows let me tile the calls and keep track of them. I also appreciated how calls close to timing out jump to the front! Saved me a few times. Great job! Screenshot 2025-10-12 at 9.24.03 AM.png
Oct 12 22:32:34 6h 04m Beelines ♥ 1 Really like the chill vibe. A very unique take on the theme! I like it a lot!
Oct 14 01:10:21 26h 37m Colour thief ♥ 1 Cool idea! I really liked how I had to look at the world differently and consider if the obvious thing was right. I'm not a great platformer, so when I got to the "Steal the Sun" level it was just too hard for me. 😦 It looks maybe the web version was updated, but not the downloadable version? I had the same issue as @anorphie where I didn't know you had to hold the e button, it would be worth updating the controls to indicate that! I really enjoyed it! Edit: Tried the HTML version, the spikes are better, but still too hard for me.
Oct 14 02:02:22 52m 01s The Internet Collector ♥ 3 Uh, we're the good ones right??? Screenshot 2025-10-13 185618.png The "tutorial" a little daunting being 260 lines long; but was very helpful in the beginning. As someone at home at a terminal, it was very unintuitive to me to drag and drop items from the black board. (I think little grabber handle pixels would have helped). The interstitial pixel art was great! It was fun once I get the hang of it, but I also felt that later levels were just easier as each command was used once and the there weren't many red herrings. Cool take on the theme, and again, sure hope we are the bad guys.......
Oct 14 03:04:09 1h 01m The Collector ♥ 2 Soup time! I love wholesome games about soup! Screenshot 2025-10-13 195835.png I think the "soup music" should have only played when it was "soup time". I was a little confused. Also could have played a reference to the "soup time music" when talking to the grandma to emphasize the "soup truth".
Oct 14 03:18:50 14m 41s I Need Paperplanes ♥ 2 I noticed that others have similar scaling issues to me. I'd suggest looking into the [Scale With Screen Size](https://docs.unity3d.com/2018.4/Documentation/Manual/script-CanvasScaler.html) option on the Unity Canvas, it will let you set a target resolution so that the game looks like what you intended for most resolutions and aspect ratios.
Oct 14 03:32:08 13m 18s Biblio-Worm ♥ 1 It felt really hard until i realized that you could just run straight to the book and use the generous invincibility. Screenshot 2025-10-13 203051.png
Oct 14 04:10:20 38m 12s Booster Buster ♥ 2 Nice! I really like/hate that resetting the deck takes time. The animation is wonderful, but ahhhh I need a card ahhh. I like it 😄. I really like how intuitive it is too. Very nice.
Oct 18 22:29:34 114h 19m Nover ♥ 1 Screenshot 2025-10-18 152634.png Nice graphics and mood. The time jumps weren't very predictable, but glad I was able to make it to the end.
Oct 18 22:41:23 11m 49s DRUNK HUNT ♥ 2 Screenshot 2025-10-18 153918.png Super hard! But in a good way 😄. I really liked the simplicity and how it easy it was to try again. The music and sound effects are great! The art is also great but also very legible which is important for a timing game like this. Great entry!
Oct 22 04:29:22 77h 47m Shell Hunter? ♥ 0 Hey! Looks like the download might be corrupted. When I download the windows version it seems to be missing the main game exe. Also the itch.io page (and zip) imply there is a mac version, but it wasn't uploaded.
Oct 23 03:30:36 23h 01m Collector of Souls ♥ 1 Boy howdy did I drink from the dubious well, open the chest, and drink the questionable potion. Eventually was making 9 billion point attacks. Not sure if there was an end, but eventually the game just gave me a battle with nobody there, so calling that a win.
Oct 23 03:51:31 20m 55s Squish ! ♥ 3 Although I did find the you know how to play games tutorial non-tutorial tutorial funny, it didn't do a great job helping me learn the mechanics of the game. On my first play through i grabbed the pink one and took it on a walk from one side to the other. -- I didn't know you could put it down. So on my second i knew i did something wrong. Got the yellow one like @hacksawunit but also didn't know what to from there. The tutorial said the yellow one could make things, but how? Is it a place, a key, an action, just time? I learned the pink one homes to the pink basket, but what does that mean? I can see from others screenshots that there is more to the game, but I haven't been able to access it 😭. I like the idea and art style, I just didn't know how to play.
Oct 23 03:58:53 7m 22s Collector 2315 ♥ 1 I found the f-key mechanic critical to my strategy. 😉
