I agree that an infinitely looping book would be better, but I guess the point of the game is that along the way you start to learn these patterns and you don't need the book anymore. The gameplay is very simple, maybe too simple for what it is, it would've been nice to see something unique in the platforming or combat or something. But the art and music definitely make up for it! And this is not really a complaint for the game, but mixing real cultures and places with total fantasy can come off as a bit insensitive, I think two possible better ways are either making the whole thing fantasy or doing more research into the actual cultures! But this is just a pet peeve of mine, the game is good regardless of this! |

Your cover art is great and your game has very cute assets, but I sometimes feel like different art styles and pixel sizes are on the same screen and it visually clashes. I think this is a fun idea but it's a bit buggy and you have to be really precise with the timings, which is not that fun. I think having more time to prepare to see what action should you take would be great, then later it could speed up to up the challenge. |

I rarely see games with voice acting on jams, and yours is really good quality!! Love the whole graphical presentation too! But as someone who's seen a lot of ouija boards in games/movies, it was a bit jarring to see it used like this, but it adds a lot to the gameplay so I can look past that haha! Congrats to the game! |
