An interesting concept! however I somehow keep getting obstacles stacked on top of each other and I'm unsure if that's intentional or not, if intentional the that's a skill issue from me (tho how would you jump over a wall in a lava pool) if not then my curse to break games strike again :D
@stmate03 Hi there! Thank you for playing! It's definitely not a skill issue from you, it was never intended for obstacles to spawn like that, but while we were test-playing, this problem did not occure. It's probably because of the mouse tp-ing ahead of the player and the game does not like that. The curse is strong with this one. Have a good day!

I'll play anything that has agnome in it so here I am. I think this is a fun idea but it's a bit buggy and you have to be really precise with the timings, which is not that fun. I think having more time to prepare to see what action should you take would be great, then later it could speed up to up the challenge.
Really heavy game.
Interesting idea, like a flappy bird with more mechanics, I really like it. While the prototype could use some polish and maybe start a little slower so the player can pick up the mechanics, I think it has potential as a fun little game. I would also try to add a little bit of sound just to help with feedback for my actions, even if it's not finalised.

We had plans to add sound effect, but no one really had experience in that department and we did not have time to fast-learn it. It's a very intense reaction-based game. Sometimes you think you should jump over a low platform, but it turns out you need to fly over lava instead. And for some reason, there are these double walls that appear, and it's unclear how to pass through them.

The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It's like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!

The controls are a little bit hard to get used to, I thought that the explanation in description would be enough, next time I'll make them more understandable to play. For the double walls problem, it is a bug and we actually have not encountered it while play testing. We believe it's cause the game restarts too fast and it does not have time to "reset" the field. Restarting the game fixes it for a bit, but it is not a long term solution. In any case, I hope you had fun while playing the game. Have a wonderful day!

Hello! I tried your game but I am really struggling to pass both the lava pits and the high walls :( For the former, I use the bat but the summoning ends in the middle of the lava pit and I die, and for the latter no matter how late I use the Medusa, I always land on the wall and die...
Am I missing something? ^^ (To be transparent, I am using an old computer and am running the game with the "--rendering-driver opengl3" command line option, but I doubt a graphics driver would be the root cause...)

Well, this was pretty cute. x) I like the idea and the graphics. Gameplay is pretty jank, the timing to spawn some creatures can be weirdly specific but I got used to it. What ended up killing me was me confusing one wall type with another, cus they're all very similar. Had a bit of fun anyway after getting into the flow.

Also, since you asked, I did experience the "things spawning on top of each other" bug as well! I had only played a single round and died on the second obstacle. The bug seemed to start only after I restarted the game, so I believe it might have something to do with the restart feature? Not sure.
Nice game! I like how it feels like a rhythm game. Not only do you have to use the correct ability, but you have to time it right. Graphics are cute. Sound effects and particle effects definitely would have made the abilities feel more impactful. Great job!

Great job! I enjoyed the music, it felt so dramatic and somehow humorous at the same time. I must admit I took a long time to get used to the different animal summoning buttons. I think it was an interesting take on summoning that I wasn't expecting. Also, I didn't encounter any obstacles spawning together.
Alright, so, the concept? Super cool. But, gotta say, the execution was a bit meh. I kept running into these frustrating segments with two walls of different types that I just couldn't seem to get past, like, every darn time. But hey, aside from that, the game? Pretty solid! (P.S the music was so good!)
