| Apr 26 20:43:04 | Gravaiduim | ♥ 1 | I liked running through the dungeon with a small army of rocks and smacking people, the attraction mechanic is way more fun to slingshot things than repelling them, although I'm sure if you time it right Some messed up graphics, but nothing too bad. Saw a familiar face in here...Gravaidium_OerZy2saj6.png | |
| Apr 26 20:50:00 | 6m 56s | The Summoning of Dagan | ♥ 1 | I love the art style and the music, seems very mysterious! Not shooting up or down is something that also caught me up, but I rapidly got used to it. Looks like you forgot to remove a transition from where you find the key, you can just walk through the wall (added later in development?). Don't see much use of the theme besides the backstory, would have been pretty cool with puzzles or a longer game! Nice base. |
| Apr 26 21:00:05 | 10m 05s | Summoning Shop Keeper | ♥ 0 | I like the concept a lot. I realized eventually that they were ordered based on their recipe and not their name. I did like that you weren't punished necessarily for messing up trying to guess the recipe because you got summons you could use in the future, so that's a nice bit of emergent gameplay. The music does get a bit repetitive though, and no way to quit out the game if you're playing! Great job, especially for a first solo, the graphics were cute for how simple they are. |
| Apr 26 21:06:20 | 6m 15s | Devotion - A fairytale | ♥ 1 | Fun game, I love the limited color palette and the puzzles. The audio was getting a bit annoying, so I'm glad that there was a toggle for that. Really amazing mood and graphics, I had to consult the walkthrough a bit because it was unclear sometimes on what was clickable or not, and it changes throughout the game! Would love to have some indicator of that, but other than that it's a fantastic game! |
| Apr 26 21:14:14 | 7m 54s | SumMon - A Summoner's Monster Pet Shop | ♥ 1 | Interesting game, but I felt like it was held back particularly from the gathering resource phases. I couldn't make nearly any of the orders because I would not have any valid tiles to use! Still fun, and with a little bit of balancing and fleshing out of features (finding multiple resources at once in troves, smaller map, more tile options, etc) I think it could be very fun! Nice work. |
| Apr 26 21:20:16 | 6m 02s | I found my brother's old cartridge! | ♥ 2 | I remember defending my love for Fckrmon on the playground when all the kids were playing Fetal Fantasy IVI instead. I told them Fckrmon has way more cool monsters and better graphics but they just beat me up. I ended up being cleaned out by the second guy because he always goes first. I'm moving to Fetal Fantasy. Great stuff and very funny. Graphics were great for sucking so bad. |
| Apr 26 21:30:33 | 10m 17s | Final Chants | ♥ 0 | Looks very good! It was so unbelievably dark that I spent a good 15 minutes just roaming around in the same room trying to solve the puzzle, looking at a nearly pitch pitch black screen. The puzzles were interesting, and I'm glad that the first summon you find is a lantern (who lights your way for approx. 15 seconds then never again) The rooms seem massive for such a game, evidently when I had to look at the pedestal and walk backwards for most of it in the main room since I couldn't see anything else! Graphics are great, audio was great, summoning wasn't utilized much except as a "you completed this puzzle" goal, but still good nonetheless. |
| Apr 26 21:34:47 | 4m 14s | Type My Name | ♥ 3 | 38 souls down, really fun game. Loved how you start it by typing new game. Some of the names got complicated fast where people had first, middle, and last names (damn the french!) I loved that you were the thing trying to be summoned and you had to prevent people from unsummoning you. Very stylized graphics, loved the red blood font and everything. Great work, would love to see this expanded in some way. |
| Apr 27 18:30:10 | 20h 55m | Cooking with Satan | ♥ 2 | Really interesting visual style, especially the integrated photos. Loved the premise, the twitch stream setup along with usernames and comments added of lot of humor to the game but I found it a little difficult to play and follow what was going on with what tool did what. |
| Apr 27 18:36:49 | 6m 39s | Detective of the Dead: Ghoulish Adventures at Erstwhile Manor | ♥ 5 | The full-motion videos and sprites are great and add a lot of charm and fun to this game, clearly you had a lot of fun in making it. A big thing I noticed was hit collision from enemies can feel a little wonky where you can't really tell what part of the enemy is hitting you or when, and I found myself getting send back to the start of rooms frequently without really knowing where I was getting hit from. |
| Apr 27 18:39:44 | 2m 55s | Oliver | ♥ 1 | The choose-your-own adventure format fits great with the art style and characters. Lots of charm and and it was fun seeing all the different outcomes and endings. Definitely could have used sounds or a least a background track to make the game feel more fleshed out. |
| Apr 27 18:43:21 | 3m 37s | Footlong Flight | ♥ 1 | Very fun premise for summoning, I really liked the eerie audio when characters were speaking along with the rotating 3D-background, definitely something I haven't seen much of in other games. The game itself seems to have some kind of noise filter over it, which is cool stylistically but makes it a little difficult to follow the fly since he kind of blends in with the background. |
| Apr 27 18:46:43 | 3m 22s | Baby's First Demon! | ♥ 1 | The audio and graphics are great, they add a lot of atmosphere and humor to the theme and the game itself. I especially liked the instruction booklet, lots of great illustration. The game itself is a little difficult to follow, I found myself just kind of clicking on random objects and then backing out after a while. |
| Apr 27 18:51:11 | 4m 28s | Sumo & Ning | ♥ 1 | The concept is great, really like the character designs and it's a clever take on the theme. The dual gameplay is interesting as well, perhaps an item or upgrade in which you could pick up multiple items at once would help speed up the gameplay loop? |
| Apr 27 18:58:29 | 7m 18s | Saturna's Hand | ♥ 4 | Cool idea, really liked the layout and graphics. The card mechanic is fun and encourages a lot of replayability and experimentation to figure out what produces the best combos. |
| Apr 28 05:32:55 | 10h 34m | Thundersnow | ♥ 2 | Fun! The summoning of mjolnir is a bit jarring and confusing, but I get the idea, good work! |
| Apr 28 05:42:16 | 9m 21s | Into the Oven | ♥ 1 | Cool idea, the pizza making worked well but the pacing was slow making 3 pizzas. Took a bit to figure out how to fight and it was difficult to know what to do at first. Music was nice and it was cute! |
| Apr 28 05:49:39 | 7m 23s | GOBLIN VS FROG | ♥ 1 | Very amazing little game that reminded me of warioware and rhythm heaven in the best ways. Tying winning in mini games to a little war on the side is an awesome idea. Game felt very professional and polished for being a jam game, well done! |
| Apr 28 05:59:17 | 9m 38s | Summoner Defense | ♥ 1 | Cool tower defense game, art was great and the audio was nice. Good work! |
| Apr 28 06:07:17 | 8m 00s | The Abyss | ♥ 0 | Nice little game with good gameplay ideas and nice audio design! |
| Apr 28 06:11:53 | 4m 36s | Rex | ♥ 1 | Cool ideas for a resource management game and I'm impressed it has so much for being a jam game. Art was neat, good work! |
| Apr 28 06:13:41 | 1m 48s | Hell's Kitchen | ♥ 0 | Cool mechanics and the theme worked well here, more audio response would be nice, good work! |
