Oct 3 00:06:02 Bimbi's Cosmo Party ♥ 3 I loved the minigame and the characters are cute. The voice is so funny! xD
Oct 3 00:15:34 9m 32s Profits in Proportion ♥ 1 Love this! I usually struggle with insecurities while drawing, but I had a lot of fun drawing in this game. Thank you for that <3
Oct 3 00:45:29 29m 55s Fantasy Haven ♥ 1 Very interesting puzzle! I got 30/40 but I honestly have no idea how to get a better score. I'll keep trying :)
Oct 3 01:01:04 15m 35s Nebula Odyssey ♥ 1 After getting enough magnets there was nothing crashing on the ship, so I couldn't do much. It felt super comfy actually. Maybe it was luck? xD +1 to @strato's comment about progression, I would love to see more of this (even outside the jam). This is exactly the kind of game I would play for hours and hours!
Oct 3 02:11:04 1h 10m The Darkest Of Maze ♥ 2 Nice atmosphere! I had a very tense moment where I was missing 3 orbs and the monster/glitchy wall was right behind me. I managed to escape and win in the end :)
Oct 3 13:01:17 10h 50m It Gazes Back ♥ 1 I got to the ending where you see the eyes and it's sick, I love it! When trying to get the good ending I kept getting errors saying 'Sayer "y" is not defined" or something similar. There were some lines of dialog I couldn't see, but apparently it jumped from ending to ending so I could see all of them. And I have to say I'm baffled, I don't know how to get to some of them. I think that's very cool. It could've probably used some more ambience/music to better adapt to the mood of the scene (I only heard 2 different ambience tracks), but that's the only complain I have.
Oct 3 13:37:36 36m 19s Occhiolism ♥ 1 I really, really liked the idea of thinking of trauma-triggering spaces as limiting the total space a person can access in their lives. I think there's a good conversation to be had regarding that idea, which delves into interesting topics of psychology and philosophy. But instead of focusing on that, the game focuses on the dynamic between John Oscar and Patty Nicole. Which is too one-sided. It's almost as if she isn't human, just an obstacle between a good date and the main character, or a pet to care for in some other times. It was uncomfortable to play :( I would have appreciated more insights into what goes into their heads. What is Patty feeling when her trauma is triggered? How does John Oscar feel when he cannot help? How do they feel this might affect their relationship? How do they feel after the incident has happened? Like, is the day ruined or do they find another way to be happy together? Regarding the ending, I think it is meant to be inspiring, with the main character promising to avenge his girlfriend. But that also left me with a sour taste. That would be like "an eye for an eye", perpetuating violence. I think John Oscar should focus on helping Patty Nicole heal, not avenge her. Maybe I was just not the target audience for this novel, sorry.
Oct 3 13:55:15 17m 39s A Tail of Escape ♥ 1 I love the game having so many options and I love its humor <3
Oct 3 14:51:53 56m 38s Space Trucks ♥ 1 That song is great, I was grooving to it while waiting for more crates to appear 😁 I would've like some kind of progression. What do we get S$ for? I'd like to buy bigger trucks (as you mention in a comment), more storage space, maybe even get different contracts so you end up transporting new types of cargo with different shapes (imagine having to keep "human cargo" waiting in storage until a cryogenic truck shows up hahah) But anyways, I'm just asking for more because I like the execution of this game. Great job!
Oct 3 15:06:12 14m 19s Asteroid Base ♥ 1 I got to x10! I can very easily see this progresing with different asteroid shapes and new buildings to place. It would be great to have something to defend against the invaders as well.
Oct 3 15:12:38 6m 26s Small Fish Smaller Tank ♥ 1 A small fish got in front of me and blocked me from escaping the big fish 😭 But I made it to 60 points before that happened! I liked the progression, adding more big fishes. But the small ones are too annoying: eats your food, blocks you, and there are a lot of them. Maybe they could serve as food as well? Nice game!
Oct 3 15:20:03 7m 25s Bitter Retirement ♥ 1 I liked the idea of the game and it was fun trying to get past the winged guys. If you ever want to improve the game, maybe you could add more ways to hit the box. Every time one of those guys send a box flying back I wanted to kick it back to them soooo bad. Kind of like a mid-air pong with toxic waste hahaha 😄 Nice first entry, congratulations! 👏
Oct 3 15:32:40 12m 37s (Un)limited Space ♥ 1 Very cute! I also struggled a bit to understand the cable puzzle and I didn't know you could click on the thing that shows the final puzzle. But I think keeping the mouse like this actually forces you to look for it and pay attention (instead of brute-forcing your way out), so I liked it :) The art looks very clean and I found the game very fun
Oct 3 16:01:18 28m 38s Winds Of Pilgrimage ♥ 1 Omg, that last puzzle was very difficult! I couldn't stop playing until finishing it. Really interesting mix of exploration and puzzle solving. Reminds me of how you find out how to solve puzzles in The Witness or Outer Wilds. The only problem I had was that I couldn't find the small puzzles to figure out the mechanics. A little guidance would've been great for that. But amazing game nonetheless! 😄
Oct 3 18:25:45 2h 24m The Jazz Cat ♥ 3 I love the art, it's so cuuute <3 I found the bug where you can place dishes in wrong positions, but I had a blast trying to fit as many dishes as possible with it hahaha
Oct 3 18:41:40 15m 55s Spooky Space ♥ 1 Nice game! The puzzles felt intuitive and the tutorial is seamless and very neat, congrats! I also think the style of the characters and how each direction plays a different chord is cute. Everything feels nicely tied in I got the achievement ^^ achievement.jpg
Oct 3 18:54:34 12m 54s Calves of the Braves ♥ 2 Hahaha, this is fun! I wanna play it with a friend ^^
Oct 3 19:02:27 7m 53s Don't Touch My Legos ♥ 0 Don't. F**k. With my Legos. 🔫
Oct 3 19:15:20 12m 53s Feng Shui Struggles ♥ 1 I've got flashbacks from when I had to move my wardrobe hahaha. I was afraid of breaking anything and then the game forced/allowed me to do it 😁 I agree with everyone saying the difficulty progression feels great. At the beginning of the 4th level I almost screamed, but I managed to finish everything
Oct 12 14:14:22 210h 59m rosie's escape ♥ 2 I managed to find the cat's hat and brought it back. This is impressive for your first jam game! There's a couple of things I need to mention: It would help if you add a list of controls in the description. I had to figure out to find what key did what. Here's the list of controls in case anyone else needs it :) ### Controls * SPACE to roll * SHIFT to attack with sword * Q and E to change item * CTRL to use item * With bombs: CTRL to use one, SPACE to throw it Also it would be useful if the items in the shop had a visible price. I ended up getting enough coins to buy everything twice because I didn't know how much I needed hahah I found it a cute game overall. Good job!
