| Oct 4 13:19:55 | Lepitospirat | ♥ 1 | Got past the spider boss! I expected something else but there was just large empty room after another lol. I would try making the transitions between the 2 worlds less jarring next time. Seems like the engine might've been slowing you down too. I believe there are free visual coding tools for unity that should speed things up. | |
| Oct 4 23:03:57 | 9h 44m | The Bomb Office | ♥ 2 | Dude nice! I died on the tutorial and had to restart but after that it was surprisingly more fun to control than I thought it'd be. I wish I could have seen you record some of the funnier sound effects xD |
| Oct 4 23:24:07 | 20m 10s | Gimme Money! NEVERQUAKER (LD49) | ♥ 1 | Not sure if it was supposed to end at the earthquake? The screen stayed black and I couldn't read the text. Tried jumping up and got pretty far but nothing happened. I really liked the atmosphere of the menu! I wish the other part of the game had similar art too. I find momentum really takes a game out of that script-kiddy feel, I suggest trying to add momentum next time. |
| Oct 4 23:53:53 | 29m 46s | Templefall | ♥ 2 | My first impression was that I had come upon something ridiculously good because of the genius decision to include the main mechanic in the start menu. (again, genius!) I hate to say this but the jump is unforgivably unsatisfying. It's like playing mewtwo in smash, but somehow worse. 5* on theme for that one. Outside of that the sound was fun and art was good. |
| Oct 5 00:05:02 | 11m 09s | Lovecrafting | ♥ 4 | This game deserves a LOT of praise. I'm sure it's not because I simply LOVE lovecraft but seriously this game has such an amazing feel to it. The idea was excellent and the execution is oh-so sweet. |
| Oct 5 00:45:44 | 40m 42s | RIFT | ♥ 1 | "The world seems more stable now..." Nice I liked the art of the unstable platforms! Now for some harsh words. If it wasn't a compo but instead a Jam I would suggest setting up base code for momentum and gravity, the game was really slow for me personally. X instead of E for interaction always boils my balls too. Otherwise I'm really impressed with how many screens there were for only having made this game in 48 hours! |
| Oct 5 00:55:19 | 9m 35s | Wife Dono, Kouhai Kun, and The Unstable Machine | ♥ 0 | WIFE TRAPPED IN TIME nice! lol. I liked all the art for the commercial side of things a LOT. The writing was fun too! |
| Oct 5 01:36:10 | 40m 51s | Shrodingor Unstablor Borgor | ♥ 3 | "hello love nuggets" "here is my runic number" I gotta say, this is probably my favorite game in the the Jam so far. Gunna have to leave a 5* on almost all of these xD |
| Oct 5 02:15:57 | 39m 47s | WOLFGUN | ♥ 4 | As per usual sodaraptor as provided the world with yet another masterpiece display of textures on lowpoly geometry. I liked the game A LOT. But i have notes! The shaking effect on the player character did not feel like "rage" so much as it felt like a visual glitch. The music loop was very short. The bullet noise variation was very small. The rage mechanic, while yes, IS unstable, it was also not even a part of the game beyond wave 5 after you've upgraded to to the point where it is no longer a problem. The enemies didn't seem to scale at all. Not being able to shoot while holding down the mouse is fine except for how awful the shot speed was - this is why a lot of games avoid making the two inclusive and opt for a reload mechanic instead. Again, super DUPER happy to see anything sodaraptor puts out. Been a huge fan since playing hynagogia and after seeing that he posted on itchio on the same jam as me I HAD to come and play it. |
| Oct 5 05:06:44 | 2h 50m | Unstable Vampire: A Text based Infinite Runner | ♥ 1 | I actually liked this a lot for how much I usually don't touch these games! Felt much more innovative than how they normally do! Wish it was a little easier though.. wanted a lot more! |
| Oct 5 05:17:30 | 10m 46s | Lumen Sphera | ♥ 3 | I can see the portal influence! Very Nice! Would love to see a recording of you making the yell noise that you recorded for this lol. If you plan to add any more content to this I'd suggest rebuilding the levels while keeping this in mind: almost all of these puzzles can be halved by just jumping over holes in the floor. Also the bind for recalling a sphere really ought to be the same bind for picking up a sphere. Picking up and placing are intuitively opposite you see. The metal textures you made on the 3d models were impressive! I look forward to seeing more of your work in future jams. |
| Oct 5 05:29:55 | 12m 25s | The Unstable Battlefield | ♥ 0 | "audio jungle" nice. lol. I thought you had created that beatboxing track yourself for the first 3 minutes and was really impressed! haha |
| Oct 5 06:20:50 | 50m 55s | Get Down From There! | ♥ 1 | MY FLOWERS Managed to get a score of 32! Those hitboxes, even though clearly glitched, were actually kind of fun to figure out! The song fit really well too, gave off that "EVERYTHING IS A MESS!" vibe! |
| Oct 5 06:29:14 | 8m 24s | Unstable Network | ♥ 1 | Saw your game on that guys stream! Played it myself because I thought it looked too easy for him to be dying. Turns out I was right lol. Anyway I liked that you kept to a computer theme for all the assets - exceptionally glad that you programmed in those warnings for off-screen danger spawning. |
| Oct 5 06:42:42 | 13m 28s | Mental hostpital simulator | ♥ 0 | This game is definitely one of the better examples of the theme. Surprised by how many of us struggled on the theme this time around! Would like to have seen what the game would look like with SFX and music and particles :D |
| Oct 5 10:38:03 | 3h 55m | Lena & Tubs in: The Shattered Chateau | ♥ 2 | That music loop is so soothing~ Loved the idle animation too! so smooth. I look forward to seeing more of what you guys make in the future! :D |
| Oct 5 11:08:33 | 30m 30s | Server Hell | ♥ 3 | Wow dude! Proper good atmosphere. also, "All hail the bonana king!" haha. What was the story behind the ghost guy in the chair? genuinely curious |
| Oct 5 13:03:30 | 1h 54m | Everything is Fine | ♥ 8 | That end music was so gentle. Hit me harder than I wanted it to. Going to be honest, seeing the picture of the kid sitting on the ground really hurt me. |
| Oct 6 04:40:18 | 15h 36m | I can't remember | ♥ 2 | I'm not sure if I lost or won but I'm too scared to go back! Haha, oh man, but seriously - once that ghost popped out of the roof i full on considered skipping this game so that I wouldn't have to run past it. panicked and interacted with all the buttons at the end and it seemed to work out well. Btw, I LOVE floating platforms in a void so I'm always super glad to see those in a game! |
| Oct 6 05:04:51 | 24m 33s | Total Meltdown | ♥ 1 | Ahh! I can see the FNAF influence! This kept me occupied for a fair while guys! Good stuff |
| Oct 6 07:45:49 | 2h 40m | Witches Brew | ♥ 2 | Gdi I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! I know it's unfair to everyone else who I've rated but I let my bias take control when I gave this game ratings! xD |
| Oct 6 08:47:59 | 1h 02m | Zap! | ♥ 3 | Love love LOOOVE prerenders! Well done guys! |
| Oct 8 00:25:43 | 39h 37m | Monster Shopper | ♥ 1 | Fantastic work on hitting the theme! Did a really good job of teaching the mechanics along the way too, nintendo tier stuff there. Even the buttons were intuitive! That's always super important to me as a player so I'm surprised I found all the important buttons without looking into any how-to stuff. Going to have to rate this one pretty high for the theme specifically for sure! |
| Oct 8 03:54:18 | 3h 28m | -Y- | ♥ 1 | Short but sweet! Good use of pleasing palettes for the background art for sure! I'm glad to have done the same ludum dare as games like this one! |
| Oct 8 03:57:43 | 3m 25s | Unstable "AI" | ♥ 1 | Ahh, whack-a-mole with peripheral skill! Nice. |
| Oct 8 04:23:59 | 26m 16s | Cro-Mathnon | ♥ 1 | Superb themeing! What an Idea! I found myself damage boosting to get better movement. I wonder if this mechanic was intentional? |
| Oct 8 04:38:59 | 15m 00s | Bomb's Lair | ♥ 1 | Saw the artstyle and had to give it a go! Really good use of the theme. The melody reminds me of metroid and donkey kong melodies! |
| Oct 13 04:10:22 | 119h 31m | Chronondrum | ♥ 2 | Super glad to see original content in the competition! Looooove 80s themes too xD |
| Oct 14 01:57:34 | 21h 47m | DepressPnker! | ♥ 2 | LOOOVE the artstyle! And those sounds are so PUNCHY! Don't get me started on how good that pause sound is too haha! Definitely going to have to fill up those star ratings up to 5 on this one! :D |
| Oct 14 05:12:14 | 3h 14m | HONK III | ♥ 1 | Fantastic representation of the theme! I've never before considered taking momentum out of doom movement - it made everything crushingly unstable for sure! 5 stars!!! |
| Oct 20 14:26:35 | 153h 14m | LCD DREAM ESCALATOR | ♥ 2 | Hey for the part with the four pink hands around the white hand, you wouldn't happen to know the name of the vst you used for that would you? It's... so pretty... |
