Apr 26 14:26:06 It came out of space ♥ 2 i really liked the atmosphere! the lighting, graphics, and music was very spooky
Apr 26 14:48:36 22m 30s Deepwater Settlement ♥ 1 i really liked it! i kept starving unfortunately, but i liked the strategy of putting settlers in different places to see different fish spawns
Apr 26 15:04:28 15m 52s Deeper Devils ♥ 1 i really liked this game's art and sound. also the timer was a nice touch, after my first play i immediately had to try again to beat your time. i ended up with 49 seconds :)
Apr 26 16:29:31 1h 25m Deeper Into The Boundless Gloom ♥ 1 i had a good time. reminds me of enter the gungeon. i like that i can choose my upgrades pact on each level. only thing i'd say is maybe the level shouldn't end until you've killed everyone? good work :)
Apr 26 17:01:43 32m 12s Burger Girl's Funky Shift: 済世 ♥ 1 that was beautiful. well written and with impressive art style. had me laughing at the jokes and falling in love with gil. i hope to play more :)
Apr 26 17:18:44 17m 01s Spy Supply ♥ 3 i really liked the graphics and sound. very papers please esque. the writing was also very funny! it was sometimes hard to tell what each job actually wanted me to do, like i didn't know how a secret agent could help with the suez canal one, so i didn't know what to give him. other than that, very fun!
Apr 26 17:33:50 15m 06s Path to Tribute ♥ 1 surprisingly deep. i like the idea and most of the mechanics. i wish it was more clear when you are being attacked and where. with some sound and other game-feel polish, this would be really great!
Apr 26 17:46:38 12m 48s Tropical Singer ♥ 2 interesting concept! i like the story and the graphics. i think the game would benefit from some more conventional rhythm game mechanics, like having the buttons actually tied to different points of emphasis in the song. sometimes a downbeat in the music would hit with no button press, or id have to press a button on a rest note in the song. i don't know how you are procedurally generating the music, but maybe make sure that the button presses are made with the music in mind? overall nice, probably just needs a bit more time and testing, which is hard in a jam :)
Apr 26 17:52:09 5m 31s Harpoon Prototype ♥ 0 you've got a compelling concept here, with some more work this could be really good. if you do choose to continue work, i think it would be nice if you could release your harpoon early while it is pulling you in? that could make it almost like a fun underwater spider-man game :)
Apr 26 18:03:53 11m 44s Sub-servicing ♥ 2 interesting concept! unfortunately i had a bug on my second try where i was unable to interact with anything or go back down through the stairs. with some bug fixes and polish this could be really strong!
Apr 26 18:22:45 18m 52s The Deep Underneath ♥ 1 real great graphics and mood setting here. i agree that some of the enemy placements were hard to deal with, especially when they were placed right at/after a screen transition. i made it through, i liked the ending :)
Apr 26 18:29:04 6m 19s Dungeon Diver ♥ 1 loved this! fun mechanic, short and sweet game. love the ending. if you continue working on it, maybe a less powerful alternate-fire could be helpful for more precise movements? great work
Apr 26 18:40:02 10m 58s sp0rm ♥ 2 i thought this was really strong! the controls were a little difficult to get used to, but once i tried each segment individually i got it. i ended up spamming e and w to move, using q as a sort of rudder to change my direction. definitely QWOP vibes. my middle school self would have had some fun racing friends in the school computer lab lol
Apr 26 19:08:48 28m 46s Moss Light ♥ 2 i thought this was really fun! took a bit to get the hang of, but after a few runs i was able to win. some of the balancing needs tweaking, but this is a really strong start i hope you work more on :)
Apr 26 20:01:09 52m 21s Dungeon Painter ♥ 1 very cool! really pretty graphics and mechanics. some of the spikes were rage-inducing lol. i really liked the boss fight, although as others have said, it would benefit from a wider view. :)
Apr 26 20:10:03 8m 54s Depth Seilor ♥ 1 very interesting idea! i think this is a strong concept that could be done even better in a post-jam version. i wish i had more control over movement- maybe swinging your legs for momentum? big fan of this, good work :)
Apr 26 21:15:14 1h 05m The deepest heist ♥ 0 loved it. extremely funny, great writing, interesting mechanics and exploration or the theme. with some difficulty balancing this would be perfect. mwah chefs kiss
Apr 26 22:36:06 1h 20m Chthonic Brilliance ♥ 1 very pretty and well designed game! love the way the mechanics come together, like the boxes on the crumbling platforms. also a big fan of the sound and music. good work!
Apr 26 22:47:43 11m 37s Diggillion ♥ 1 very impressive! the procedural generation was cool, and i loved the vacuum mining mechanic. also placing blocks back down felt great, even if only needed to use it once. some lag at a few points, when standing on non-flat ground mostly, but i won't hold that against you lol. great work! had a fun time chilling and mining to the great music. would be excited to see more.
Apr 26 23:34:48 47m 05s BLAST MINER ♥ 1 very strong entry! im a sucker for a good rocket jump. really loved the part when the flying moles show up lol
Apr 27 00:33:43 58m 55s Hellevator ♥ 0 solid entry! i like the name and the graphics. some real potential here if you continue work after the jam!
Apr 27 00:50:18 16m 35s DEEPER ♥ 0 nice! the downwell inspiration shows through. good work :)
Apr 27 01:03:57 13m 39s Red Archer ♥ 2 i was really excited to play since seeing your gifs on the blog, very impressed! i really like the movement and especially the part where you dash after killing an enemy. i would love to play a future version if you work on it more :)
Apr 27 02:33:44 1h 29m Dieper & Deaper ♥ 4 love the name, theme, and style! really a great looking and sounding game. unfortunately i couldn't find my way past the first restricted area. some of the locked doors are hard to figure out. big fan of what i saw though, great graphics and writing. i really liked the cactus disguise lol. good work!
Apr 30 14:17:04 83h 43m The Botanist ♥ 1 fun game. i didn't really get it at first, but it really came together for the end. made me feel actual fear. good work
Apr 30 14:36:28 19m 24s Super Drill Boy ♥ 1 i liked this! graphics and audio were great. i liked how the first few levels eased in the difficulty, but then the last two were satisfyingly hard. good work!
Apr 30 16:42:19 2h 05m D.N.N. Engineer ♥ 1 i really liked the puzzles here! the circle / square mechanics have surprising nuance that made it really fun. the only real problem i had was with the moving objects. they kept going off screen so i couldn't see whether they were finished, or click on them to continue the puzzle. other than that, fantastic puzzle game with tons of potential! great work
Apr 30 17:08:26 26m 07s Duggy ♥ 0 very cool game! i really like the art and music especially. props to your son for the idea and props to you for the execution!
May 3 20:42:34 75h 34m 6 Feet Under ♥ 3 definitely an awesome game, really well designed. looking forward to playing the postjam version now with the difficulty adjustments lol :) great work
May 3 22:15:27 1h 32m Soil Surfer ♥ 1 very interesting to have basically hexagonal snake in real time! i really liked it. the controls were a bit strange at first since they seemed to be inverted, but i got the hang of it. i really liked the music, especially how it changed once the centipede showed up. really cool project, great job!
May 3 22:21:32 6m 05s D. R. I. L. L. ♥ 1 this game is awesome! i really liked the way it was almost like a rhythm game, with the drill moving on the beat. made it really fun to play. it reminds me of crypt of the necrodancer! if you continue with the game, i might recommend taking another queue from necrodancer and make the drill only move if you press the key on the beat, instead of automatically. just a suggestion :) i also really like how the music sets a sort of time limit on the run, which gives a sort of risk-reward aspect. should i focus on getting all the early ore or should i skip it and beeline for the gold? really cool stuff. great work <3
