Apr 26 05:07:34 So Below ♥ 2 Great atmosphere - I was tense the whole time even though nothing actually happened. I was hoping to run into some kind of goal/end, but wandering endlessly fits the theme well!
Apr 26 05:30:16 22m 42s Drill18^2 - This is Just a Drill ♥ 3 Great work - it's amazing that you made such an in-depth game in 48 hours! It was really interesting to explore the mechanics, like managing workforce vs moral and trying to get resources of the appropriate type. I liked how cards had multiple purposes since they both provided an effect and a resource. I managed to keep morale high for a while but was doomed by drawing multiple Computer Virus/Cracked Drill Shafts that became impossible to clear. Nice game!
Apr 26 16:12:23 10h 42m Deep Dive ♥ 1 This is a fun little game. The expressions on the monsters (?) you pass are amazing - I liked how their expressions (and the background color) change as you go deeper. The ending was great too. More games should have surprise/twist endings.
Apr 26 16:27:55 15m 32s Far Gone ♥ 4 Really cool to see this kind of game in a game jam! The visual effect was unique and effective. I wandered around a bit not knowing where to go at first, but once I followed the beeping, the rest of the story unfolded smoothly from there.
Apr 26 16:40:34 12m 39s World in Peril ♥ 1 Interesting game! I lost when my goal was science since I was buying a lot of blank cards, but won when my goal was civilization. It was nice that I always had the option of selling a card from the store if I didn't want or couldn't afford either. I appreciate that you added tooltips to explain the icons in the game.
Apr 26 18:05:04 1h 24m Abracatabra DBDBDeep ♥ 2 I love the concept of building up the slime by mixing in different potions. I was a bit confused about what the different icons mean and how to interpret what the enemy is doing, but I see the potential.
Apr 26 22:38:41 4h 33m Deepest Point ♥ 1 A simple but fun game! I tried for a while but couldn't get any deeper than 21.
Apr 26 22:58:37 19m 56s Dig Straight Down! ♥ 1 It looks like a cool game but I didn't fully understand it. It would be great if you could add some more instructions to the description. I could dig straight down but I didn't know how to dig sideways when I ran into an impassable block. I did enjoy how the mining machines pass off blocks to bring them to the top, but sometimes 2 machines were in sync and never overlapped which meant my blocks didn't get brought up. (I'm not sure if timing of placing new machines is supposed to be part of the challenge.) I liked that destroying something just drops it and you still have to bring it up to sell it, adds a little more interest to updating your mine layout.
Apr 26 23:07:21 8m 44s Flying Fred ♥ 4 I liked this game a lot! The music and the feeling of coasting down is relaxing, but it's also tense when trying to land on a drone or dodge obstacles. It's funny when you crash and roll down the mountain too.
Apr 26 23:13:17 5m 56s Into the Deep ♥ 1 The music is perfect and it's a very engrossing experience overall! I especially liked bumping into a whale (?) and swimming through the ruins at the end.
Apr 26 23:24:45 11m 28s Carriere ♥ 1 Interesting version of Minesweeper! It took me a bit to get the hang of telling which tile/gap each number corresponds to. I like that you can descend to the next level as soon as you find the arrow, so you don't always have to solve the final tricky part. I wish there was a way to mark tiles that you know are bombs, though.
Apr 27 00:20:00 55m 15s Deep & Deeper ♥ 2 Amazing! The characters are so cute! I love how much polish you put into the game (like the character's animations and sound effects.) The puzzles were fun though I found them more of an execution challenge than an actual puzzle (at first it was easy to hit the wrong key or move a little too far.) Having more of the level visible would actually help with planning what moves you want to make to solve the puzzle rather than just doing whatever the only next possible move is. It was a great idea to control each character with just 2 keys and show them on screen at all times, since it would have been way harder to control otherwise.
Apr 27 01:33:07 1h 13m Deepenguin McPool - Wants a deeper pool ♥ 3 This game is super cute! Really impressive art compared to most game jam games. I wish the autoclicker was a little more effective so I don't have to click so much (since it's very expensive to upgrade the autoclicker.) I'm going to keep playing though so I can get the cute penguins to visit my pool.
Apr 27 16:30:02 14h 56m Run, Glim, Run! ♥ 3 Great game! The way that Glim rolls around is so cute. I liked how it felt like a platformer but there was only one button input. It took me a bit to get the hang of it but then I got into a good flow. The music is impressive too - few games have menu and game over music as well as the main soundtrack.
Apr 27 16:50:04 20m 02s 20.000 LIGHT YEARS deep in THE SKY ♥ 3 Great game! The game mechanic of fitting certain pieces of data into a limited space was interesting, and the overall polish is amazing. I was surprised to get a worse ending when I didn't find Eden than when I did, but now I understand that you have to maximize Hope _and_ try to reach Eden. I'll have to keep playing to try to do better.
