| Apr 26 03:17:44 | SPEKS - A Murder Mystery | ♥ 3 | Really cool concept and take on the theme. I really like how some of the elements that initially make you more suspicious of certain characters actually make them more credible as you keep playing, the web of interactions between them is super well thought through. Despite the opening text being slow swapping between people and questions felt very snappy and meant I didn't need to remember too much between questions. | |
| Apr 26 03:22:55 | 5m 11s | Nostril Navigator | ♥ 2 | Absolutely disgusting animation and sound design, I love it :) (I do sometimes feel like my finger is not nimble enough to have a chance to dodge those nose hairs) |
| Apr 26 03:35:17 | 12m 22s | Afraid to Turn | ♥ 4 | Great sound design, properly terrifying when a wolf appears. I found the wolf eyes very difficult to see against the background, especially when they looked very similar to the 1 pixel gaps in the treeline (which could have been intentional?) |
| Apr 26 03:41:17 | 6m 00s | Catsm | ♥ 2 | Love the dedicated meow button. The background art looks nice especially in a game like this where it needs to repeat and so is one of the main things you are looking at, but it felt a bit mismatched with the cartoon style platforms and cat. |
| Apr 26 04:01:22 | 20m 05s | Haunted Pizza Delivery | ♥ 1 | A surprising amount of diversity in the enemy types for a jam game, I especially like the skeleton even with dev-art his behavior is quite clear. the level geometry makes him a right pain to get past when you first encounter him though. |
| Apr 26 04:25:20 | 23m 58s | Deep Undercover | ♥ 1 | When you're a fake guy but your suit goes awry That's a Moray When you're deep in the brine But you're tied up like twine That's a moray You will fling, spring-aling and swing to push just one button. but then you will fall, sideways out a wall and you'll get stuck forever. (Brilliant concept, very funny. Had very serious trouble with the HTML5 version but in the windows download I could flail around quite happily) |
| Apr 26 04:34:40 | 9m 20s | Fishious Depths | ♥ 0 | a fun execution of quite a simple concept, never felt like the game was too easy or that I was forced into something near impossible, fish had a good pace to it and the art was all quite cute. Only real bug I found was that the Quit button didn't seem to end the game. |
| Apr 26 05:12:10 | 37m 30s | DeepRoots | ♥ 0 | I had so much fun with this, new puzzles and mechanics come at a really good pace and some of them are very clever in their difficulty. I found myself wondering what the point of the maze levels were a bit until I realized that they set you up for thinking about the limited visibility ones down the line. |
| Apr 26 05:21:15 | 9m 05s | Dreamer's Depths | ♥ 3 | The noise of the crows and snakes was quite jarring (might have been better if they were slightly quieter) which is a shame because the sound for the dash jump was really satisfying. The dash jump mechanic just felt really good in general (art+sound+momentum). I like how the first level had plenty of opportunities to do it by accident before being formally taught about it. |
| Apr 26 05:33:18 | 12m 03s | Digmania | ♥ 1 | Quite addictive, not sure if the dig power upgrades actually make things easier (after about 5 you feel quite out of control) but I sure want them a lot. |
| Apr 26 05:46:26 | 13m 08s | The Limbo Runner | ♥ 1 | Absolutely my favorite take on the theme so far and the only game that has got me laughing out loud. Love the concept, love the announcer, love the spacebar slamming. I am terrible at it, can't get past the quarterfinals. |
| Apr 26 06:06:40 | 20m 14s | Hide In The Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Got a bit stuck with the room with the two switches and three enemies, the boxes didn't seem to compress the switches when placed on them. Not sure if it's a bug or just something I was doing wrong. Otherwise great game, easily my favorite art-syle I've seen so far. |
| Apr 26 06:47:23 | 40m 43s | Pirifurm DCleaner | ♥ 1 | So impressed all of this was done without an engine! I did find the viruses surprisingly helpful at "organizing" the user files into neat little piles in the bottom and top left of the level. |
| Apr 26 07:27:21 | 39m 58s | My Innermost Criminal | ♥ 1 | Can only agree with many others that I just wish there was more of this game which is hardly a criticism given how good it is for 48 hours work, the mechanics are so clean and straightforward and there feels like a lot of space left to explore (for instance I was hoping there would be a puzzle that required you to push your larger selves around). |
| Apr 26 07:59:37 | 32m 16s | Dyb | ♥ 0 | Quite a few good surprises in this game, I was wondering why the pigs had such pointy ears until one got pushed into the ceiling 😆 |
| Apr 26 09:15:50 | 1h 16m | "Say Aaaah...!" | ♥ 2 | I really liked how the game both allowed me to employ but then judged me for my "can't infect the tooth if there is no tooth" strategy |
| Apr 30 07:28:02 | 94h 12m | 1GEMCLIC.EXE | ♥ 1 | Actually quite satisfying to break when your income skyrockets due to a quite nice pace initially and very smooth controls for viewing all your stuff. I do enjoy that you can just keep buying "win capitalism" even after you've completed everything, makes you feel like a real billionaire. |
