| Apr 26 22:56:01 | FallEndless | ♥ 1 | looks really cool but I can't understand it as I only speak english :( | |
| Apr 26 23:00:16 | 4m 15s | LOOP NOIR | ♥ 1 | really cool vibe and idea but I got stuck after the lights switched off and couldn't figure out what to do :( super cool overall though |
| Apr 26 23:10:44 | 10m 28s | Little Mother | ♥ 4 | from the creator of one narrative based game with a frog in to another, this is really good absolutely LOVE the visuals your game is a lot scarier than mine though |
| Apr 27 00:05:15 | 54m 31s | Last penny | ♥ 3 | really nice pixel art animation at the beginning and a cool atmosphere and concept but the collision detection seemed a bit wonky |
| Apr 27 00:09:56 | 4m 41s | Death Cult | ♥ 0 | cool game a really nice pixel art, gameplay loop is fun would've been cool to see it integrate the theme better |
| Apr 27 00:16:31 | 6m 35s | samurai-dash | ♥ 1 | really nice animation. sometimes I seem to dash in the wrong direction and I'm not 100% sure why? like the idea a lot though |
| Apr 27 01:12:16 | 55m 45s | catch the fishies! | ♥ 1 | really nice art and pretty satisfying gameplay. really like the animation on the arm when you grab stuff did you compose the music in the time given as well? |
| Apr 27 01:16:43 | 4m 27s | Dog's Descent | ♥ 1 | really love the menu, the animations are very stylish. If this is the first game you've ever made it's very impressive although some shadows would have gone a long way to making the platforming segments a lot easier as well as helping the look of the game |
| Apr 27 01:20:28 | 3m 45s | Volcanaclimber | ♥ 1 | love the music, reminds me of metroid prime gameplay concept is very satisfying although it can feel a little frustrating since it seems like the optimal strategy might be to just move your mouse as slowly as possible. very nice game though, cool art direction as well |
| Apr 27 01:25:04 | 4m 36s | Deeper in Debt | ♥ 1 | fun interpretation of the theme. cool to see the first game you've ever made as well, I hope you keep making games in the future :) |
| Apr 27 01:28:55 | 3m 51s | Dungeon Diver | ♥ 1 | this is fantastic, reminds me of downwell in a lot of ways (mechanically and visually) |
| Apr 27 01:35:25 | 6m 30s | Enter The Golfeon | ♥ 0 | very fun game but the difficulty spike after level one is MASSIVE |
| Apr 27 01:45:44 | 10m 19s | Unto the Eight | ♥ 1 | really impressive considering only 48 hours to make this game has a very big sense of scale and mystery, I haven't seen everything but it feels almost impossibly huge atmosphere is great and I love the idea of taking a lot of the interlinking systems and mechanics that old school roguelikes and games like dwarf fortress have and trying to merge that with something more akin to Zelda love the art as well |
| Apr 27 15:22:50 | 13h 37m | Bad Cultist | ♥ 2 | fun game, reall nice idea, reminds me of Lemmings. Would have liked the controls to be a bit slower/heavier though it sometimes felt hard to position yourself where you wanted to be because everything was moving a bit fast |
| Apr 27 21:53:39 | 6h 30m | Deep Snails Night | ♥ 1 | very cool little game from one snail lover to another got stuck on the big snail boss though as I couldn't work out what the best way to deal damage to it was and I'd always run out of vomit :( Your artwork is ludicrously good though! |
| Apr 27 22:08:44 | 15m 05s | This is DEEPER | ♥ 2 | fun game where you can properly just zone out for ages playing it would have liked to have seen another mechanic or something to keep things fresher on longer runs but the artwork and sense of speed are really good |
| Apr 27 22:21:42 | 12m 58s | Deeper & Deeper Research Ltd. | ♥ 1 | really unique and interesting clone mechanic and some really impressive background art. collision handling and sprite animation could have used a bit more polish but this is a very memorable entry for sure |
| Apr 27 22:36:54 | 15m 12s | Nadiria | ♥ 1 | cute game, can definitely see the celeste influence it feels good to build up momentum but I would have liked to see a way to cancel the dash early or something or maybe a way to retain momentum out of it to allow people to build up some speed faster checkpoints are also a little far apart considering the difficulty of some segments and the slow journeys to get back to where you were overall I really enjoyed it though and the sense of atmosphere is really strong |
| Apr 27 22:43:42 | 6m 48s | Awfully Good Pizza | ♥ 2 | this looks amazing and I really want to play it but the mouse didn't seem to place ingredients for me! I'm going to try it again tomorrow on a different machine and hopefully it'll work then as this looks super cool |
| Apr 27 22:53:42 | 10m 00s | Minelight | ♥ 1 | this is a really cool concept and looks very smart but I can't quite wrap my head around how it works... I think it if was rendered in 1st person inside a 3D cube I'd feel better equipped to understand how to play |
| May 2 15:25:13 | 112h 31m | Goblin Heist | ♥ 3 | cute game, love the name really interesting ideas with the score draining mechanic, definitely made me rush through some of the later levels and get hit more which I think is what you were going for. nice choice of music as well, I know you didn't write it but I think it fit nicely and helped elevate the mood very cool to see a high score board at the end as well |
| May 2 15:50:55 | 25m 42s | Rusty goes Deep | ♥ 1 | congrats on your first game jam! cool ideas and it's very ambitious to try to make a 2D platformer with a walljump physics were a little wonky in places, especially for the acceleration/friction and speed caps on falling I reccomend this article, it really helped me get to grips with 2D platformer physics: https://www.emanueleferonato.com/2012/05/24/the-guide-to-implementing-2d-platformers/ impressive work for one person though and some really unique ideas although I would have liked to have seen the darkness mechanic introduced slower and maybe have more environmental lights in the earlier levels to guide the player and warn them about hazards. would have been nice for the mood to get a bit of audio in there even if it wasn't original but I get that when you're just one person you're stretched thin enough as is |
| May 2 16:56:28 | 1h 05m | Cosmonoid | ♥ 1 | very fun game really nice atmosphere and music I think maybe it's too tricky to recover from a mistake in some of the later levels, it can end up feeling very "restart spam" heavy but overall I really loved it. the writing was fun and a nice touch too |
| May 3 16:41:07 | 23h 44m | Deeper in Dipper | ♥ 2 | really nice pixel art |
| May 3 16:46:24 | 5m 17s | Falling! | ♥ 1 | nice pizel art but it's a bit brutal at the start to be honest |
| May 3 16:50:18 | 3m 54s | Delitor | ♥ 1 | really cool mechanic but it would have been nice to see a bit more content in the game beyond just survival |
| May 3 16:54:34 | 4m 16s | Dwarven Mines: Hunt for the Evergreen | ♥ 1 | atmosphere is really nice with some nice lighting but it did feel like it was missing something to do. I kinda just held right the whole time and occasionally went left to grab some gems |
