Apr 28 16:08:45 Sam Sludge: The case of the dirty runoff ♥ 1 I can tell that there's a very thought out plan and level design of this game. It has an atmosphere and characters that fit together with the rest of the game. I got stuck on the platform place though. Maybe that's on me for playing on a laptop. One thing that I think was interesting, I'm not sure if it was intentional, when you see that long monster stand behind bars, then you get the key, unlock a door, every time I had to look behind to make sure I didn't unlock the monster. Thought that was unsettling and well executed! If you are looking for feedback I would probably suggest to make it easier to climb up at the platform and maybe have less stuff in the start of the level because I ended up looking around for stuff without finding anything (the rubble looked like items). Well done and nice work! :)
Apr 28 16:15:21 6m 36s Deep Team ♥ 0 It seems like I'm alone with this but I get this error message, both when running the game locally through the itch.io client and through my web browser. It probably have something to do with itch but I though I'd share it anyway. I'm running it on a Mac. Looks like a fun game btw! Cheers :) Screenshot 2021-04-28 at 18.11.41.png
Apr 28 16:17:11 1m 50s Underground ♥ 1 Still down :( Is it still in some kind of preview mode perhaps?
Apr 28 16:20:31 3m 20s Fall from Grace ♥ 0 Hey :D Please check the link so we can try this out 👍
Apr 28 19:58:31 3h 38m The Last Place ♥ 1 Lovely! :) Hehe, I was expecting to find a note or something behind this structure: The_Last_Place_rGMuYfjEyQ.jpg
Apr 28 20:25:35 27m 04s Keep moving and nobody falls ♥ 1 So that is how minesweeper works, I never learned it 👀 Very nice and polished game, tutorial and everything. I was really shocked when I fell through, enjoyed the surprise and the sound the tiles made when they cracked. Exciting. Well done! I didn't do great but I had fun :) LudumDare48-win64_bQF9dnOPBp.png
Apr 29 14:45:18 18h 19m The Fall ♥ 2 Nice work as always guys 😍 The concept is awesome and that overview on the info page gave me anticipation - "I'm excited to explore the depths and what comes next" It was hard for me to swing the sword, but I think it was a brave choice not to go with the regular bullet hell mechanics. Also, by not going with bullet hell guns it gave more room to focus on the environmental changes etc. Well done! ⚔️ 🔥
Apr 29 15:19:46 34m 28s Deep Waters ♥ 1 Loved it :) This game has emotion. I was instantly interested due to the rain and I was not disappointed :D Really impressed and inspired how you balanced dialogues together with rowing the boat. I hope you continue to work on it and release it on Steam.
May 1 16:23:02 49h 03m What do cats dream of ? ♥ 1 I loved the cat's movements, eyes, IK targets etc., they feel very alive and and cute 😺 the music makes the mood excellent too and I also thought the game over screen was a neat design choice 👍 great work! my cats wish they could get that much food 👀
May 8 17:19:55 168h 56m Tom's Twist ♥ 1 Ahh, the "everything went better than expected meme" fits here ;D I thought it was funny, I was almost expecting some jump scare :D A well-planned game with a plot-twist, nice work! If you want feedback for a future version: * I think the low-poly is really clean and neat and the models deserve baked lighting I think, it would make them look even more awesome, try it out! :) * Maybe set the gravity value for the on the WASD axis to something higher, it would make the movement less floaty! 👍 You made a finished game, I hope you feel proud and welcome to Ludum Dare :D Keep on making games!
May 9 09:03:11 15h 43m Run Miner Joe ♥ 1 @rolle I like it! reminds me of icy tower but downwards instead of upwards. I have Rednex stuck in my head now, though.. _where did you come from, where did you go?_ _where did you come from, miner joe?_ 🎵 I thought I would beat @Khorm's record, did he get some kind of secret cheat code? ;D I simply could not get there.. my high-score: firefox_1ELNZHwYXN.png it seems like the best approach is too keep your eyes way down in the screen to think ahead, I had most success that way. awesome work and happy to see you back with a contribution! :D
May 10 14:42:53 29h 39m Mycelisation ♥ 2 Awesome game! It's very soothing to sit and plot out paths, with that juicy crispy sound, and as time goes by, it becomes a beautiful network which is satisfying. If you will continue to work on it (I hope so, because it's great!), here's some feedback (although you probably know about it already, then just ignore it): * This UI element blocked me a couple of times: Mycelisation_LD48_Y9dnGXD032.png * I wish it was easier to upgrade the sprouts (maybe right-click -> tiny menu) or something. I loved that there was a "finish round" shortcut, but I didn't find one for the "store"? Nice work!! I think I have to fry some shiitake mushrooms for dinner today 😍
May 15 14:36:23 119h 53m FlickWest ♥ 1 Nice work and kudos for making a multiplayer game for Ludum! I have always wanted to do that :D
