Oct 5 12:15:41 The Bullet of Sisyphus ♥ 1 Really cool mechanic, super satisfying to see more and more clones shooting together :)
Oct 7 10:47:48 46h 32m The legend of ♥ 0 I like the concept, but I have no idea how you're supposed to survive for more than a few moments when the arena gets filled with enemies so quickly
Oct 7 10:57:43 9m 55s BOOTLOOP_RECOVERY ♥ 1 Great mood you've got going!
Oct 7 14:14:47 3h 17m Loop City ♥ 2 Okay, so these were basically my thoughts when playing, chronologically: - Oh wow I'm falling fast - There's a lot of stuff here - It's hard to interact with people and I'm not sure how the quest system works - My confusion combined with the fast nature of the game makes me slightly frustrated - Oh okay I can upgrade my steering with apples - Now I get the quest system, and the shop - I have now adjusted to the speed and interacting with people - Hah, I love how you combine different ingredients to make - At this point I understand the game and my frustration is replaced with fun And that's basically where I started to pick up on the huge charm this game has. First of all, I love the concept. The sprite work combined with the music makes it feel really jumpy and cheery, each piece fits together and creates a cohesive mood. I like that there's always something to pick up when falling, makes each section much less tedious, you always have something to do. When I got the dive and slow down upgrades the game also felt less hard to control, missing things didn't happen as frequently, and if I did miss something I could just dive through the whole loop. The characters are fun, I like the old ladies 😄 I admire how you didn't just add different NPCs, but added a farm, a mixer, water that you could actually fill a glass with, a variety of mechanics! The loop freeze request was so weird it was humorous, which I think was intentional based on the dialogue. The puzzle elements were simple but felt rewarding when you figured something out - for example coloring yourself green and mixing an apple with a glass of water. The apples and glass of water are used in other quests as well; the fact that the same objects have more than one interaction makes the world feel more alive. The dive and slow down mechanics might have been better to start off with since they did help navigating and made these unique controls easier to deal with, but then the reward of unlocking them would be gone, so I'm not sure if the tradeoff is worth it, just a thought. All in all, I'm giving this game high scores all around, it's clear that you put a lot of effort into it, and I had a fun time! Definitely hit me up if you keep working on it!
Oct 7 14:46:45 31m 58s 21 days ♥ 1 I like your style of graphics, the ending was hilarious 😄 I also like the story, it's simple but I like that you didn't have your game literally be in a loop, but rather add the loop in the main character's life choices. One thing I didn't like was the kicking, it felt unresponsive and sluggish at times. It could benefit from a faster, more dramatic animation. Good job!
Oct 7 15:04:38 17m 53s S.H.I.P.S. ♥ 0 I really like this concept! One thing I think you need to fix is that it's actually super rewarding to let 3 of the ships die so you can only control one. Maybe you can add a timer, so when there's only one ship left you can only shoot once per second? I also enjoyed the music, it's got an otherworldly, glimmery feel to it. Good job!
Oct 7 15:11:26 6m 48s Anybody there? ♥ 1 Nice entry! The music and sounde effects are the best parts imo, the gameplay is super simple but works well. My only problem would be that when there's a lot of power and weakness on the screen at the same time I get kind of dizzy and have a hard time following what's happening 😂 the level transitions look really cool! All in all, good job!
Oct 7 15:17:53 6m 27s Stuck in a 'loop' ♥ 0 Very charming little game! The gameplay worked well, I think the only thing it needs is a time limit, enemies or make it harder to find your friend, to make it feel like a challenge. I still enjoyed it though, for some reason I really like the sound effect when you blow up your ring 😂 good job!
Oct 17 12:43:43 237h 25m Break the Cycle ♥ 1 Nice game! Took me many tries to figure out what was killing me, I thought the spikes were background decorations.
Oct 17 12:58:35 14m 52s The Daytona 666 ♥ 1 I gotta give you cred for the difficulty on that second boss, I got really into it and eventually won with only a tiny bit of health left! Good job on this game!
Oct 17 13:09:16 10m 41s Puzzle Pong ♥ 1 Love the music, perfect for a puzzle game. The mechanics were fun too. Great job!
Oct 17 14:29:20 1h 20m Grand Magus ♥ 1 Wow, this is great. After learning the controls I had a great time, it was a bit annoying when the mages kept teleporting away from my spells but it was a minor nuisance. The music, graphics, mood and gameplay all fit together like puzzle pieces and form a very solid entry. Great job on this game, super impressive for a compo, and would be impressive for jam as well so that says a lot!
Oct 17 14:43:48 14m 28s Toil of Pnamos ♥ 0 Cool game! Love the eyes in the background, their gazes darting around give a really sinister feel :)
Oct 17 14:48:58 5m 10s Just In Beaver ♥ 1 The artstyle and simple gameplay makes me feel like this could be a great minigame for a children's game! It was fun to play, but I didn't like the thunder(?) sound that kept repeating, it got annoying quickly. Nevertheless, this is a good entry!
Oct 17 15:05:34 16m 36s Kosmosrunda ♥ 1 Wow, one of my favorites so far. Graphics, gameplay, audio, it's all there and it all fits together just right. Great job!!
Oct 17 17:39:19 2h 33m Broodmother ♥ 2 A strange game with fun gameplay? I'm sold! Love the graphics and audio. I like how you have to strategize by having the enemies hit their own spawners. Great job guys!
