Oct 6 08:01:26 Loopomotive ♥ 0 Really well executed game - good job 😁 the audio is a really nice touch and fits well, though you should really opt out of that category given that you didn't make it 😉 I've used that exact track in jams past 😂 it's a nice, simple premise that you've polished almost to perfection. Great job! I particularly love the effort you've put in to the UI, it's something that people often miss out during jams. I can't find anything to complain about 😬
Oct 6 08:28:24 26m 58s Time Saver ♥ 4 Really nice little game - looks great, and the mechanic is cool (good thing I read the comments first or I wouldn't have known how to kill multiple enemies 😉) my one major suggestion is that you make it really obvious how the game plays. I'm not sure how you'd do that, but overall it was a neat take on the theme and you should be proud! 😁
Oct 6 08:45:09 16m 45s .determinant point ♥ 2 Nice interpretation of the theme! 😁 I'd agree with the above comment about the soundtrack being a tad repetitive, but other than that it's a great little game and you should be proud 🙂
Oct 6 08:50:42 5m 33s Hamster Survival Racing ♥ 1 ha neat little game - incredibly difficult, though 😂 I can't beat that other hamster 😬 maybe I take a leaf out of some of the other commenters books and kill the competition 🤔 My one complaint would be that the background music is a bit repetitive. Other than that, it's a wonderful little game, congrats!
Oct 6 09:00:53 10m 11s Back And Forth ♥ 1 So much polish! I'm really impressed with this (also "f to pay respects" was pretty funny 😂) it's a nice little puzzle game and really well polished. The graphics are wonderful, and the sound effects are really good. There's a good amount of juice, too. Well done!!
Oct 6 09:07:26 6m 33s Dangled ♥ 1 love the audio, really great job on that! The gameplay is challenging but SO satisfying once you manage to pull it off. Well done 🙂
Oct 6 09:43:57 36m 31s Portal Pete: The night-time Sheep ♥ 1 really enjoyed that. The graphics are top notch, really can't find anything to complain about! And the audio is just 👌 loved it. Well done 😁
Oct 6 10:35:50 51m 53s Catch the Loops ♥ 1 I agree with the other comments on here, but it's a really neat concept and fits the theme really well! Well done 🙂 the audio really adds to the game, and the looping bugs are a neat visualisation of infinite loops 😂 well done 😁
Oct 6 10:38:56 3m 06s Oops Loops ♥ 1 That is delightful, really appreciated the photographs. Neat little game, though could've done with some background music! Maybe a few puzzles, too 😉
Oct 6 10:46:30 7m 34s Looped ♥ 4 overall it's a nice little game, well done! As other people have mentioned, WASD movement would be awesome, as would being able to hold to shoot. Check out some of Vlambeer's talks on GDC, I think they would improve this game about 1000x for basically no effort! 😁 this one in particular is good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJdEqssNZ-U
Oct 6 11:18:55 32m 25s Caterpillar Cowboy ♥ 2 okay I don't think I've ever given straight 5 stars to any jam game but that... That is perfection. I can find no faults. As soon as I thought "I wish I could become a butterfly and fly around", that wish was granted. Next time I should wish for something more useful like a new house 🤔 tl;dr this game is magical and you should play it
Oct 6 12:28:20 1h 09m Neverending Duck War ♥ 1 Presentation is on point, I can't fault it. Deagle did a great job on sound - that quack is 🔥 though minor gripe: you should vary the pitch ever so slightly. Other than that, though, it really is a wonderful little game to play and you should be very proud!!
Oct 6 12:30:15 1m 55s Stuck in a Loop ♥ 1 you know what, I spent way longer here than I was expecting to 😂 it's really satisfying, and looks great. I think a few other people have mentioned it - but the ball being smooth while the loop is faceted *slightly* detracts from the overall look and feel, but that's the only issue I have with it 🙂
Oct 6 12:39:36 9m 21s Looper ♥ 1 I'm impressed that you managed to get decent-feeling platformer controls done in such a short period of time, well done! The general concept is good, the use of the theme is interesting and it's well executed. I found the music a little boring and repetitive, but that's personal taste I think 😉 the sound effects were great, though 😁
Oct 6 13:44:07 1h 04m Time Break ♥ 2 Visually, it looks great! I love the way different timelines pop in and out of existence. My only complaint would be that the actual gameplay suffers for being done in such a short period of time 😅 platforming mechanics in a jam are a big enough ask as it is, and your combat is a little bit lacking. I would also have liked to see a menu 😬 however, for something that was done in a short period of time, those are **completely** excusable! Good job 😁 oh and the music and sound effects fit the game really well 💪
Oct 6 14:07:01 22m 54s The Death Loop ♥ 1 it's a great concept, and I had fun with it 😁 like JLK said, if you're not using the mouse for anything else, don't make me click the mouse to advance dialog 😉 I think it would be a brilliant game with a bit more time spent on the actual platforming mechanics - I always advise against platforming for game jams, because it's super difficult to get right 😬 for reference, Celeste has 1500 lines of code **just** for movement. There's a lot of complexity in good platforming! That said, it's a great take on the theme and it was definitely fun to play. Well done!
Oct 17 15:57:47 265h 50m The Titan's grave ♥ 1 fantastic little game, well done! I must say, I suck at the timing 😬 I will say I found it quite frustrating, in that the timing has to be pretty accurate. Give me a little leeway please 😉 also the audio is **very** grating and the mix isn't great - the sfx are much louder than the background music, and they hurt to listen to 😅 that is a minor nitpick for a jam game though 😂 overall, great job, looking forward to a post-jam version!
