| Oct 5 05:30:10 | Swop | ♥ 1 | Great puzzle game concept. It took me a little while before I figured out what pushing the red ball actually did. A intro level or two to introduce the mechanic would go a long way with teaching the player how it works. The graphics and audio were both very well done and fit together perfectly. Overall great job! *I ran into one crash on level three when I reset from the menu, but I didn't capture the error message. | |
| Oct 5 06:14:41 | 44m 31s | Ace of Rope | ♥ 1 | Fun game! Lots of potential with the rope mechanic. The art and music were great and fit together well. I felt that there wasn't much challenge between boss fights, I was able to pretty much run past everything. It would have been good to add more puzzle elements to force the player to interact with the environment. But overall great job, especially for a compo entry. |
| Oct 5 06:33:28 | 18m 47s | Candyfactory | ♥ 1 | Funny game, the voice lines were great. I found the balloon very hard to control. Maybe slowing down the movement speed would improve the controllability. I also found it difficult to line up over a piece of candy because you're not able to look down and have the beam point down at the same time, if you're looking at the candy the beam won't hit it. |
| Oct 5 07:09:32 | 36m 04s | [LD47] Falling Asleep | ♥ 1 | I played the web version and I wasn't able to combine two of the items on level 1. Not sure if intentional, but I couldn't figure out how to progress. The audio was great! |
| Oct 5 21:10:17 | 14h 00m | WhileTrue | ♥ 1 | Great concept, it fit the theme perfectly. There were a few interesting tricks in the puzzles, but overall they weren't very challenging. There's a ton of potential for more complex puzzles. Mechanically one thing that might be interesting is removing the ability to start before using up all available actions. Doing that would open up the potential for puzzles that look trivial but actually become complex when you have to use all available actions. I do wish the music looped, it felt kind of strange when it stopped. Overall great job! |
| Oct 6 05:22:39 | 8h 12m | Going Postal Starring Dick Danger | ♥ 0 | Super hard, I couldn't get past level 2. I enjoyed the art and music. But I had the same issue with the controls that other people have already mentioned. It eventually got to the point where there were so many enemies on screen it seemed impossible to pop up out of the box for a second without getting hit. |
| Oct 6 05:47:19 | 24m 40s | Limbo Library | ♥ 1 | My favorite so far. The controls felt good and I liked having to pick up a curse every time you go to the shop. The art and music were good as well. Very polished! |
| Oct 6 06:07:52 | 20m 33s | Snack 'N' Jack | ♥ 1 | I ran into a bug on the second level where I couldn't progress. I killed the last enemy, picked up the blue orb, walked back to the camp fire, and then nothing. I liked being able to switch weapons and they all had a distinct feel (flamethrower is super OP if you quickly shoot it). |
| Oct 6 06:38:33 | 30m 41s | LD47 game | ♥ 1 | The controls were wonky, felt like driving on ice |
| Oct 6 07:04:35 | 26m 02s | Hyperloop | ♥ 5 | Very polished game, the music are art are fantastic. It was super hard, I could never get too far, it seemed like if there were enemies chasing and I had to reload it was pretty much guaranteed death. The enemies also blended in with the background. I had a hard time being able to read how many were chasing. |
| Oct 6 19:03:33 | 11h 58m | Jessica Calls | ♥ 1 | I liked the graphics and music. I felt the game was both too easy and too hard. There wasn't enough time to arrange the items in the inventory, it seemed like there was barely enough time to grab everything you need. But there also wasn't a need to think too much when arranging your inventory. There was so much room that even on the higher levels everything easily fit with little effort. |
| Oct 6 20:41:39 | 1h 38m | LOOPOST | ♥ 5 | I loved the flying between planets mechanic, it fit the theme well. I ran into one bug where the ship would immediately leave the planet orbit when it reset from a crash, it happened launch me directly into some asteroids. But I was able to fix it by resetting with 'R' before crashing. Overall great job! |
| Oct 14 17:14:25 | 188h 32m | Beat Farm | ♥ 1 | I love this concept. I did find it a little tedious to arrange the items in the loop. Overall great job! |
