| Apr 20 18:08:55 | Wavering Divinity | ♥ 0 | Well done, simple but nice and effective graphics. Audio is fantastic. Would have loved a bit more UI elements, not sure if it's me but you never get to place more than 5 towers. It's bit one-dimensional from a progression point of view but hey in 48h well done, I didn't managed myself only for the jam | |
| Apr 20 18:15:40 | 6m 45s | Keep E.T Alive | ♥ 1 | I love it, although moving the objects to the body it's bit hard and not initially obvious where to put them. My guys was definitely crapping too much lol. It's funny, the graphic although basic it's nicely done (I'm rubbish at it so I feel you), the audio adds to the fun element. Although playing a game to attend a sick person in this specific moment in time it's bit morbid, the fun elements you added lifted it up. Well done! |
| Apr 20 18:33:17 | 17m 37s | Keep ET alive | ♥ 0 | I love your use of shaders, really well implemented. The overall feeling it's amazing thanks to your graphic and audio (that's the winner but I gave both max rate). Perhaps was me but I've been following the arrow for 7 minutes and nothing happened and nothing was found so I just exited the game and this brought the rating down a bit for me. |
| Apr 21 09:47:58 | 15h 14m | AetherPath | ♥ 0 | Loved the graphics and the audio. The concept is nice and the game run without issue on my PC, however the UI really brings it down a bit. Would have loved some instructions screen somewhere I'll give it another try later on as I've understood a couple of more points from the comments above. Which engine did you use to make it? Well done anyway in 48h it's a lot to do and you shipped a full game anyway. |
| Apr 21 11:17:03 | 1h 29m | Virtual Meeting Simulator | ♥ 1 | I had fun playing this, well polished, nice pixel art, easy to understand and play through. I too had problem with the capital letters, I guess it has something to do with the way you capture the input events. |
| Apr 21 12:29:54 | 1h 12m | Snail Guard | ♥ 2 | Nice idea, brilliant pixel graphics and retro arcade sounds. I've played a bit but didn't seem to reach an end, so this looks more like an endless runner kind-of ? Anyway nice work and vibe to it. |
| Apr 21 12:44:16 | 14m 22s | Egg Hero | ♥ 2 | Cool platformer, although is tad bit out of balance but it plays nicely even if hard. The charge punch is very fun and the added screen shake, sound effects, animation makes it feel super powerful. |
| Apr 21 12:55:30 | 11m 14s | Rogue Janitor | ♥ 1 | Loved the concept and the variations added by the random generation, the controls were a bit fiddly though but overall quite a bit of fun. |
| Apr 21 14:28:39 | 1h 33m | Roho - immortality of a deer stalker | ♥ 3 | Art and music amazing, nice execution and the feeling and mood playing is great. Perhaps would have loved more SFX to give a bit of audio feedback on the various action the player was performing. Great job. |
| Apr 21 18:13:43 | 3h 45m | Saving Iyla | ♥ 2 | Lovely art and sound direction, bit difficult to control especially on jumping. Arlo would get easily stuck and animation will stop with his legs up in the air or bended even if I was like walking. Some of the platform were quite difficult to get to as probably the collision boxes were too generous and I would easily hit some invisible wall/platform. Anyway nice job in the time allocated especially from the story / art / sound point of view. Great job! |
| Apr 22 13:18:40 | 19h 04m | Keep It Charged | ♥ 1 | Simple but nicely executed puzzle mechanics. Art and audio well implemented setting a nice mood to the overall gameplay. I would have preferred to use mouse to point where to go as my brain doesn't compute isometric with WASD very well, but that's just me. I don't like to have an installer in jam's games and would have much preferred a simple zip that I could just unzip and run straight away. |
| Apr 22 13:29:23 | 10m 43s | Moonhill Farm | ♥ 1 | I had a very similar idea for my game, though I didn't manage to deliver all the features I wanted. Kudos for doing this for the compo and creating all the arts and sounds (I'm really rubbish at it so I just don't even bother). I concur with most of the feedback in here as the night turn is quite long, also the controls could be bit smoother as I had trouble moving the camera and selling / placing the fences. Anyhow great job! |
| Apr 22 13:32:42 | 3m 19s | Protect The Light! | ♥ 1 | Nicely done, innovative gameplay imho. Could do with a bit more audio/music, hud elements. It runs smoothly, it plays smoothly, could be a great mobile game. Well done, solid 5/5. |
| Apr 22 13:39:48 | 7m 06s | Overwatch | ♥ 1 | This is awesome! The audio and voice over are mind blowing, it sets the mood and tension right up where it should be. The gameplay is well execute, quite hard and bit buggy sometime when you get spotted by the guards but man this is excellent work. 10 out of 5 if I could give more :) |
| Apr 22 13:46:14 | 6m 26s | Nuke-A-Tron 2000 | ♥ 0 | Nice pixel art rendition of a similar game I've played (Keep Talking and nobody explodes), brilliant effort to includes all those minigame in the overall main game. It plays nicely, didn't have any issue or bug. Great job! |
| Apr 22 15:16:30 | 1h 30m | Protect The Artifact | ♥ 1 | Like the lighting used, subtle but effective. Like the various animations for when the NPCs dies. Could have polished a bit with nicer fonts / menu / hud and audio sfx but in 48h you managed to do what most people can't so well done, be proud. |
| Apr 22 18:47:49 | 3h 31m | CAN you stay alive? | ♥ 2 | Really enjoyed playing few runs, nicely put together. Controls are easy and work well. Well done ! |
| Apr 23 11:51:25 | 17h 03m | The Core | ♥ 1 | Nice, clean and minimalistic art style. Music and SFX nicely done and implemented. Gameplay is fun although the player's control are bit hard. Overall a fun game, would probably be a good mobile casual game. |
| Apr 23 11:58:30 | 7m 05s | Virtual Fish Tank | ♥ 1 | Nice concept, I don't think I have seen anything comparable. Kind of the fish version of Tamagotchi from the 90s. The noise from the water pump is bit annoying after a while, it's nice to have but you should tune it down a bit. I recon you run out of time to implement more fun gameplay or other mechanics, but I would definitely play more if you add more :) it's fun anyway and well done for completing a game in the 48h that's already a winning in its own regardless. |
| Apr 23 12:32:22 | 33m 52s | Bunnyguard | ♥ 0 | I guess you did what you could with the time you had. The platform run faster than the bunnies so eventually outrun them and you are unable to move forward to the end.... |
| Apr 23 12:38:36 | 6m 14s | Hanging by a Copper Wire | ♥ 1 | The art and audio are amazing, the lights gives a nice mood. Gameplay wise the player is hard to control sometime especially when transitioning from staircase to jump. The enemies could be bit more challenging. Overall it's a nice concept and well executed. but man that music is so atmospheric, it makes me want to play straight away and reminds me of some cyberpunk scenario a-la bladerunner or altered carbon. Well done! |
| Apr 23 16:02:19 | 3h 23m | Genki | ♥ 1 | You made this in 7 hours? That alone should give you extra points. You got music, gameplay, sfx, gfx, enemies, bullets, space, points, hud, menu and all. I would be very proud to ship something so complete in so little time. Nice gameplay, controls are smooth, and it's fun! Well done! and thanks for nice feedback on my game! |
| Apr 24 13:32:15 | 21h 29m | The Germinator | ♥ 0 | Smooth gameplay, kind of binding-of-isaac vibe, would have loved more variations on the enemies and various rooms. but in 48hr you managed to bring a finished product, with smooth control and art and a final boss as well. Well done! |
| Apr 24 13:43:43 | 11m 28s | Parenting Crash Course | ♥ 1 | That was fun. it's a bit dramatic though if you got a baby. Innovative and well executed although sometime it's difficult to move and place the objects to defend the baby. |
| Apr 26 09:43:52 | 44h 00m | LD Jam 46 Keep It Alive | ♥ 0 | Loved the overall feeling, thanks to the lighting and music. Could use some little polish like some good old screen shakes, and more animation but in 48h it's already a win having made to the end with a finished product. It's challenging enough to keep you entertained without being frustrating, I like the variety of enemies and obstacles and I'm a fan of top-down design. Well done (p.s. I would have used a different more clear to read font :) ) |
| Apr 26 09:50:50 | 6m 58s | Keep the marriage 'alive' | ♥ 1 | Great job, the art is fantastic, the idea is quite innovative actually although the gameplay it's basic. I had some trouble with the controls, some of the minigame will just jump out of the scene abruptly as the timer was going crazy so not so sure about the execution from a programming point of view. Anyhow great job... that art though (it's brilliant did I said that already?) |
| Apr 26 10:02:47 | 11m 57s | Cool Plants / Chill Beats | ♥ 1 | Nice atmosphere, and cool idea for an idle game. Though I don't quite get how it works, I've placed my Aloe plant, had those little icons orbiting around it (looked like water droplets), so I watered the plant. It kept having those things so I kept watering... Until the droplets disappeared and so did the plant, I guess it died.. (Aloe doesn't like too much water by the way, I know I've killed mine IRL). Anyway the music selection is cool, the graphic is very well executed though a 700MB package it's a bit too heavy for my taste.. why is it that large? Well done anyway! |
