Apr 23 13:15:41 Ultimate Kick Ball ♥ 1 I Played it long enough to notice that you didn't loop the music 😅
Apr 23 13:37:19 21m 38s The Living Blob ♥ 1 Fun game! I got all the way up to level 7 but only managed to get 2 5x5s
Apr 23 13:48:23 11m 04s A lost fire ♥ 1 The controls need some work. You should be able to look up and down and the mouse should not stay visible. The mouse should be invisible and not be confined by the edge of the screen, allow you to spin around freely. The sensitivity was also really high. The level did look pretty though.
Apr 23 14:19:02 30m 39s Socks ♥ 3 "We chose something smaller scope so we’d actually finish something this time." And finish it you did. This is probably the most polished game I have seen so far. The art looks amazing! The only thing I'm missing is some music and sound effects (for example when the skunk is eating).
Apr 23 14:31:01 11m 59s Temple of Enlightenment ♥ 1 I really like the idea of not killing enemies. It fits the theme perfectly.
Apr 23 14:41:54 10m 53s 1000 Miles Drive ♥ 1 Really nice game. I'm only missing some music and sound effects. The steering of the car also doesn't really "feel" like steering a car, but that's really difficult to get right in 72 hours.
Apr 23 14:49:54 8m 00s Tile Rider! ♥ 2 I love the way this game looks, with the tiles popping in and out. If only I knew how to "put this hammer to use" 😅
Apr 23 15:14:29 24m 35s My Friendly Planet ♥ 2 I feel this game is too difficult. The small fast moving asteroids are hard to see on the dark background and don't give you a lot of time to react. To balance things out, I would look at making the sun invulnerable and making the asteroids brighter and slower. Concept is very cool and original however, but the imbalance makes it less fun to play.
Apr 23 15:31:18 16m 49s Disposed ♥ 1 Although what I was supposed to do was unclear at first, I did manage to finish the game. The story and solution was clever, and the animations were nice too. I was missing music and sound effects though, especially in a game like this.
Apr 23 15:48:00 16m 42s Crash Survivor - Zombies in coming! ♥ 1 Since you mentioned you were beginners, I'd recommend you create a 2D game next time. It's a lot less complex than a 3D game. The art looks nice. However, the title screen does not match the game and the game sprites in the game mix different styles. This to me suggest that you either did not communicate well about the style of the game, or that you used online sprites (in which case you should have opted out of the graphics category) Next time aim for a more manageable scale. A simple 2D arcade game, for example.
Apr 23 16:00:39 12m 39s Trail Mix ♥ 1 The scaling on the intro screen does not work properly. Make sure to set the 'UI Scale Mode' of the 'Canvas Scaler' to 'Scale with Screen Size'. And always test multiple aspect ratios in the editor by simply changing the size of the game window. I can also only play one level. Did something go wrong with the level loading? Or did you run out of time?
Apr 23 16:15:10 14m 31s Generic Tower Defense ♥ 0 Very nice game, well done. The only problem is that its a bit 'generic' (as you might have realized 🙃). Some abilities like freezing or effect based damage or spikes or etc., would make the game more fun. But that might be beyond the scope of a jam game.
Apr 23 16:29:14 14m 04s Go Cockroach go! ♥ 2 I love the top down 3D view, and how the furniture turns semi-transparent when you go underneath it. It looks very cool. The game is just very hard. Without a boost, it is almost impossible to survive a smack. And the second smack happens before the boost recharges. At first I thought this was intentional, to force the player to run between furniture. This was my strategy for the first level, and then the hallway happened... 😅
Apr 23 16:37:21 8m 07s Feed The Flames ♥ 0 I made it through 83% of the night. I didn't realize I would start moving slower when almost frozen, and I didn't make it back in time 😅. The pixel art looks great, the music and sound effects sound great... just great. (Please use space or shift for the interact button instead of the random 'k' 😅)
