Apr 20 20:33:29 VAMP ♥ 1 Congrats on submitting a game using your own custom engine. I've done that in the past and it isn't easy. Kudos as well for having an HTML5 version with a C++ game engine. Nice work. As for the game, it a pretty smooth experience. That "mmmm" sound after attacking a guy was a bit too sensual for me, but it was good comedic relief. The mouse sensitivity was a bit high for me, so controlling where I was going took a bit longer than I would have liked. Overall though, everything worked well and was fun up until I got shot by a silver bullet.
Apr 21 16:37:04 20h 03m Save My Grandparents ♥ 0 It's hard to keep Grandma and Grandpa alive when they seek out destruction! Fun little game. Controls were a bit touchy and it would have been nice if my shots went through Grandma and Grandpa instead of pushing them. It was tough when they were shot to the edge of the screen. I was never able to get them away from the edge after that and death followed close behind.
Apr 21 16:39:17 2m 13s Stand Still ♥ 1 Not bad for 7 hours! This was very challenging. I think a slightly smaller hitbox on the guy would've been nice. It seemed really hard to stop between the falling blocks without going slightly too far. Overall, impressive for the short amount of time.
Apr 21 16:46:21 7m 04s Super Survival Ball ♥ 1 I really enjoyed playing this. There were a few things I didn't like. Most of the time I lost a ball was when my mouse went outside the browser window. Not a big deal, but if you were able to capture the input somehow that would be ideal. Second, it's impossible to read the text while juggling more than a couple balls. Having something with immediate visual impact would make it more obvious what's happening and still allow you to keep your eyes on the balls. Overall, I could see myself losing a lot of time entranced by this game. Nice work!
Apr 22 17:11:08 24h 24m Pyrokidiac ♥ 1 I like the modern take on the retro games. Took me back to my childhood road trips annoying my parents with those persistent beeps. :) I think if you would have placed the wood on the screen, it would have been more obvious as to what you were trying to do. Keep in mind, most people either skim or skip instructions altogether. So either make them fun to read, or integrate them into the gameplay somehow. Overall though, nice work on this.
Apr 22 17:15:11 4m 03s Precious Animals ♥ 0 Well executed, although incredibly difficult. I can't seem to last very long. I think it's because there doesn't seem to be a way to anticipate the attacks. They just come and if the enemy is too close, you don't stand a chance. Nice work.
Apr 22 17:19:25 4m 14s Life On Mars ♥ 1 This is great. I love the animation of the alien, and the idea is hilarious. It's easy to understand what you need to do, but still challenging. Nice work!
Apr 22 17:23:28 4m 03s Raid Healer Simulator ♥ 1 Not being an MMO player, I felt a bit lost. I wasn't sure what I needed to do at first, though eventually I got the hang of it. Everything was well executed and I apologize for my teammates for being such a poor healer. :(
Apr 23 11:44:15 18h 20m The Last Primpy ♥ 0 This is awesome. I'm very impressed you managed to get all this done by yourself. I don't have any real criticism, and the only thing I didn't care for was the number of enemies on the final level. It seemed to drag on just a bit longer than it should have. Oh, and the primpies at the end were all a bit creepy, just sitting there staring into my soul... Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say. Great work!
Apr 23 11:53:52 9m 37s MACHINA ♥ 1 What a gorgeous game. I love the aesthetics. It's incredibly polished. Very impressive! You've also managed to create a solid puzzle game under that beautiful exterior. Excellent all around!
Apr 23 11:57:21 3m 29s It's Not Rocket Science ♥ 1 Very interesting gravity mechanic and I love the simple visuals. Very well done!
Apr 23 12:01:05 3m 44s Henry and Alan ♥ 1 "Dang it. Dang it. Dang it." That was me, playing this game, narrowly missed platforms. It wasn't because of the game, but because of my inability to time my jumps right. This was difficult, but in a good way. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would at first. Very addictive. Nice work!
Apr 23 12:05:44 4m 39s LifeLine - Music Pattern Obstacle Dodge ♥ 1 Wow, amazingly trippy, but in a good way! Very innovative too and I'm impressed that the music was procedurally generated. Is there a way to lose this game? Things got VERY fast and I kept hitting the red spikes but there didn't seem to be any way to lose. I just reached the end. Anyway, great job!
Apr 23 12:08:24 2m 40s Dunkman ♥ 1 Very nice! I wasn't sure about things when I first started. Things were too easy, but then multiple guys started coming in swinging their crazy arms. I started laughing and having fun. This is a great game. Incredibly innovative. Nice work!
Apr 23 12:11:48 3m 24s Keep It Alive Game ♥ 1 Congrats on completing your first Ludum Dare. Welcome to the addiction! I really liked the way this game started. It was confusing, but intriguing at the same time. Hope to see you again in future LDs!
Apr 23 12:33:29 21m 41s Feed Me! ♥ 1 This was both creepy and adorable, in good ways. The visuals were great and the music made the whole experience surreal and uneasy. My only complaint is that the character controller seemed a bit off. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it just didn't seem as smooth as I would expect. Otherwise, nice work!
Apr 23 17:52:58 5h 19m GNAT#46 ♥ 2 Nice retro space shooter! I was thrown off by the controls a bit, as they were inverted from what I'm used to, but I was able to adapt and enjoy the game.
Apr 23 17:59:10 6m 12s Its Adventure ♥ 0 I really like the idea behind this. I had a little problem with controls (the pause at the end of a jump kept throwing me off), but I really like the idea of using typed words to bring assistance to the player. Nice work!
