| Apr 22 22:19:52 | Véia Defense: Aliens Attack | ♥ 3 | Hello, fellow brazilian! I think the game was fun and fit the theme well. Visually is really well made but I had difficulties with some hitboxes with véia character. I often receive damage from aliens when I'm far and the level keep grasping my movement, delaying me sometimes. I think that was my only concern with the game. Visually is appealing, the game is fun and the background loop music is well made. Congrats! | |
| Apr 22 22:36:31 | 16m 39s | Miscen...AGAIN!? | ♥ 1 | I really liked the aesthetics of the game, particularly the music. The visual are surprisingly enjoyable also! The idea of quick riddle solving is interesting, but I am a little reluctant about the time restraint. Putting pressure in fast reading only stimulates the players to not consume the content you are making - for example, the little introduction to the riddle itself is useless if it doesn't carry valuable information. I would suggest one first screen with the intro without the timer and the timer begins only then you get to the riddle part :) One minor problem I algo have with the controllers was the use of both mouse and keyboard: the game itself only uses the keyboard, but the menu uses only the mouse - therefore, I was switching perifericals between levels XD I would consider making the mouse more relevant or making the menu interactable through keyboard - perhaps both! Redundancy of inputs is good for the user :D |
| Apr 24 00:09:00 | 25h 32m | Silence, Please!!! | ♥ 3 | I genuinely surprise by this game, about the idea of getting bits of music to "hide" and adapts the music at real time - very interesting! The graphics and sound design were well made and interesting as the humour of this game. Congrats in the game design, guys! My main problem was the movement in the central tower section of the map, the buildings are too near to easily move around, so I would change it a bit. Nevertheless, great game! |
| Apr 24 00:34:28 | 25m 28s | Space Exodus | ♥ 2 | I really like the concept of the game, using the 3D sound system to catch resources to your journey. However I feel the game doesn't explain itself very well. Surely I manage to figure it out eventually, but it is not clear that the sound radar of the game is the 3D system. Or, perhaps, I was unlucky enough to not catch a planet for a while and could not manage to understand at first sight. Therefore, I would recommend to use a non-guided tutorial as simple as "hard putting" a second planet near the beginning, to teach the game about the radar :) About the game visual aesthetics, I really love the limited palette and the minimalistic pixel art - however, I needed to see the game description to catch what each symbol are. TL;DR - really liked the concept, would play a extended version of this concept |
| May 11 21:50:03 | 429h 15m | Zealotry | ♥ 1 | My team almost do something similar. As we defined as "reverse tamagochi"! I am really happy that somebody think of that and make a great game with it. I really liked how you do the overlord thing with a tower defense mechanic. The overall control I only perceive the controls a little cluncky, as well of the pathfiding of the villagers. I had some problems when assigning villagers for sacrifice when I came from the south city - they stubbornly insisted in grasping the tree to not furfill their destiny as sacrificial blood :( Fun to play, cutely creepy satanic 5/7 XD Congrats! |
| May 11 23:26:45 | 1h 36m | Doin' It Live | ♥ 1 | I really love the silly concept and the originality of the theme approach! A "guitar hero" of socks streaming! I had some minor bugs when the bar was been spoke by sock 1 or 2 - and also think that they ended abruptly then the bar ended. But is a nice game and incredibly welldone by you, one man developer! Congrats for the bravery! |
| May 11 23:44:03 | 17m 18s | Chronocipher | ♥ 5 | First of all, I played the JAM original version because appears to me as a more fair to the other submits - JAM wise. So I am speaking refering to that version! I had difficulties figuring out the game main mechanic... it is all about pressing the right button in the right memo? If yes, the overall difficulty was the player to decipher the plain info that you get from all the memos. If this was intended, it is a very well made logic puzzle with a well polished interface and art. :) My only technical problem was in the beggining: the music was blasting and I only grasp partially the initial dub - but what I heard, seems like a well done work Great job! Congrats! |
