Apr 21 03:52:10 Save The Dog! ♥ 0 The art was quite nice to look at! I wasn't sure exactly what the different items did (if anything). I got to the end, so I assume I didn't miss anything. Nice entry :)
Apr 21 03:59:19 7m 09s ADRENA-LINE ♥ 1 Clean and crisp feeling. Had you been playing with procedural algorithms prior to this game? It came out pretty dang good. I made it to level 36! Good juice sitting in this entry, to boot!
Apr 21 04:11:16 11m 57s Tiny Fragments ♥ 2 Surprisingly not the only game I've seen in this jam that uses the mechanic of 'movable level segments'. It's a cool idea. You've implemented it in one of the best incarnations I've seen. Game is very polished and fun to play. Great entry!
Apr 21 18:52:08 14h 40m OwOrbit ♥ 1 Charming and simple game. I was able to hit 584 after a couple runs, which felt pretty good. It seems like the best strategy is to just stay near the corners as you'll have the most time to react. Consider putting a circular overlay around the screen so that all sides of the screen are equally fair, maybe? Nice work!
Apr 21 20:43:23 1h 51m Fordhill ♥ 2 The graphics style you have here is really nice! I see what you are going for here, and the idea of a sort of free-form tower defense has always appealed to me (wintermaul and the like). I found it a little hard to understand what all the resources were. I do wish there was some audio to accompany all that nice art work :) Nice entry.
Apr 21 21:20:47 37m 24s Why Baby? ♥ 2 Artistically interesting game. I like the environment you created. The interactions feel a little 'choiceless' as it felt like I was just running in circles, but I still played for a good while enjoying all the little quips he had for my incompetance. If you could find a little more ways to give the player choices, this has some potential. Great entry!
Apr 22 05:10:13 7h 49m Hay Day ♥ 2 The game plays really well overall. The audio fits the game nicely, the gameplay is straight-forward and understandable. There were a couple things that could use some polish, mostly around balance and character movement. Since the character always faces a single point, it can be hard to place things exactly where you want to. Some of the early levels you can beat without really putting any objects onto the level. Some of the tutorial levels could be cut out or made a lot shorter. But none of that is to talk down on the game. It's a solid entry that was executed quite well. Overall, great work.
Apr 23 02:25:00 21h 14m Keep It Alive ♥ 1 Putting limits on some of the actions each day may add a lot to this game. As it stands, it's kinda hard to lose (at least it didn't happen to me, as I was able to click enough each day to just make it happy). As others have mentioned, the volume is super loud, but that's why I have a volume knob :)
Apr 24 18:59:56 40h 34m Dumb Ways to Doctor ♥ 1 I found it hard to understand what I was supposed to do to treat the patients. It seems like you can only pick one treatment, then they either recover or die? Example, one patient was bleeding, so I used a blood pack, but he kept bleeding out faster than the blood pack was helping. I wasn't able to use any other tools on him, so he eventually died. The idea is a fun take on the resource management style. I could see having more fun with this if I was a little more free to play with the tools. Overall a good idea with decent execution.
Apr 24 23:30:15 4h 30m Beetle Blast ♥ 1 I think I'm in the same boat as a lot of people where I can say that I hate escort missions in games, but this one has a different feel to it. Plays pretty well. Would have loved some more variety in what you can do as the player, but it felt solid overall. Quite unforgiving if you accidentally step into a pit, though :'( Great entry!
Apr 25 06:41:51 7h 11m KeepAlive ♥ 1 A very clean experience. I kept getting wrecked by the wrap-around (kept running into the danger symbols). Never got past 50 :( Great compo entry!
Apr 26 21:26:52 38h 45m EGG ♥ 0 First off, I want to say that I think I've had the most fun playing this game of anything I've seen in this jam so far. The mechanics are quirky and easy to understand. There's a lot of juice in here that makes it feel really fun. It's quite challenging, but I was able to get to a high score of 3400 in 1:40. It became even more fun when I started trying to jump over the same enemy (triangles?) multiple times. I found that it's a lot easier to control the egg if you just keep tossing it up... only to find that you guys pause the timer when the egg is in the air. So you can't cheese the game with that. Great entry! I'd love to see even more polish thrown on this than you already have. Grats!
Apr 27 00:55:12 3h 28m Innocuous Pong ♥ 1 A cool and unique take on the pong formula. I was able to hit 21 points after a handful of tries. That last one definitely is a bit of a mind-racker. Clean, and I like the sort of vector-graphic glow on everything. I had some issues at first with the responsiveness of the mouse input, but it seemed to go away after the first try. Nice job!
Apr 29 04:12:44 51h 17m The Fire Burning ♥ 1 Nice little game here! It's surprisingly similar to the one my group made but with a different emphasis. Plays well and controls nicely. Once I sorta started figuring out how to get more wood near the flames, I was able to get pretty far. Didn't beat it, though (if there is an ending). Nice entry!
May 1 06:36:46 50h 24m CrossWalk ♥ 0 The premise here is pretty funny. Like a god game where you're trying to protect man from mankind. I did get killed by unknown objects a couple times, so I wasn't able to beat it, but did have some fun along the way. A cursor might make the UX a little cleaner so you can know for sure what you're picking up and where you're putting it down and such.
May 1 07:06:57 30m 11s pestilentia ♥ 1 Cool idea. It's kinda easy to cheese the levels (clicking and holding an item / character can let you get away with some stuff you probably shouldn't do). The music is fitting, but does get repetitive. Graphics are pretty clean. Overall a solid entry.
