| Apr 20 23:14:20 | myBUDDY O.S. | ♥ 1 | I thought this was a neat idea, but for some reason, sometimes My Buddy would go slightly offscreen and be chopped in half. Also, it was missing music, but other than that, it was very cool! | |
| Apr 21 01:34:43 | 2h 20m | Absolutely Authentic Streaming Experience™ | ♥ 2 | Honestly, I thought this was gonna be kinda bad. I downloaded it, and boy was I wrong. Seriously give this a try guys! Only question - how do you quit? |
| Apr 25 22:50:12 | 117h 15m | Me. Fire. Run. Cave. | ♥ 2 | It was a neat game, although the controls were a bit sloppy and the music didn't quite fit the theme, but other than that, it was fun and I had a good time |
| Apr 25 23:12:17 | 22m 05s | Useless Machines Inc. | ♥ 1 | I had no idea what the hecc I was supposed to do and I still had fun |
| Apr 25 23:18:11 | 5m 54s | Keep It (restaurant and baby) alive | ♥ 0 | My computer was lagging like mad, the controls weren't the simplest and I had a tonne of errors. But other than that, which is probably because I'm playing on my laptop, not bad. |
| Apr 26 01:13:00 | 1h 54m | Back Four Seconds | ♥ 1 | I loved this so much! Only 2 issues - 1 is that the mouse sensitivity was a bit too high, maybe if you were to add an options menu, and 2 is that there was no way to quit, so I had to alt-tab out. But other than that, I found it hilarious, the puzzles were interesting and the story was (oddly) fun and captivating! |
| Apr 26 02:07:30 | 54m 30s | Battery Life | ♥ 1 | The controls weren't the best, but I got them in the end. I felt they everything was a bit too small, but other than that, it was fun and I had fun playing it. |
| Apr 26 06:53:26 | 4h 45m | Planet Defenders For Hire | ♥ 0 | The game sort of kept crashing on me, and none of the upgrades worked. |
| Apr 26 06:56:00 | 2m 34s | cheяnoбуl simulator (chernobyl simulator) | ♥ 1 | Unplayable because the mouse sensitivity was so high with no way to control it. |
| Apr 26 07:04:51 | 8m 51s | Cat Dad Redemption | ♥ 1 | Glorious. It was a bit slow paced, but other than that, it was amazing, the music suited the theme really well, and the story was cute |
| Apr 26 22:58:11 | 15h 53m | Penance: A story of Resistance | ♥ 2 | Music was cool, graphics looked good, audio was good, but I'm not sure how it follows the theme "Keep It ALive" and the controls were a bit slippery. Might just be input lag, but if you increased speed a bit, and made the time between switch directions lower, that would work. The story seemed cool, particularly for the time limit. Well done, you should be proud. Edit: Also increase the gravity a bit, because I felt that I was in the air for way too long. |
| Apr 27 01:06:55 | 2h 08m | Super Smash Berries | ♥ 0 | I had no Idea what I was supposed to do, the lack of music was kinda annoying, and things were a little slow. But I thought it looked very cute with the graphics, and I had some fun playing it. Just add some music and stuff, and it'd be all good! Although, my computer was lagging like mad playing, but that's just me, not the game :). |
| Apr 27 03:34:34 | 2h 27m | Tarvun | ♥ 1 | It was cool, but you can feel the fact that it is a game jam. Maybe use getaxisraw for movement? The music was cool, and the graphics were nice and simple. |
| Apr 27 03:42:10 | 7m 36s | The Few Who Stand | ♥ 1 | Engaging and fun! Felt very arcadey and cool, the graphics were nice, the music was great, Good Job! |
| Apr 28 00:47:21 | 21h 05m | Care Your Follower | ♥ 2 | The follower moved a bit slow (but I understand that you fixed that), the lack of audio was a little sad, but the concept was cool, the graphics were nice and cute. I would have added some visual feedback to the hold space jump, but other than that it was a cool game :) |
| Apr 28 01:34:30 | 47m 09s | Motobot Defender | ♥ 1 | The models and graphics were cool, but maybe put some post processing on. The gameplay felt a bit odd because of the mouse based controls, but it was fine, I got used to it. The absence of music was a downer, but the sound design was fine, particularly the "Oh No" whenever the base got hit 😆! Well done on this game, particularly since this is apparently your first game? |
| Apr 28 02:04:01 | 29m 31s | Party Animal | ♥ 3 | Ummmmm... the vomit sound effects tho In all seriousness, great game, challenging, good music (which not many game jams have), good audio design, good graphics! Although, a bigger HUD and a tutorial for each item would have been nice :) |
| Apr 28 02:43:15 | 39m 14s | Keep Dano Alive | ♥ 1 | Most games I play for a few minutes and then stop. This game I had played 30 minutes of without realising, it's so good! The music was so calming, which is good since I'm really stressed about school at the moment, the graphics look like terraria, which I love, the gameplay is cool, although I personally would have done it differently, it was different and unique! My only major complaint - the camera movement was a little nauseating. It seemed to sort of vibrate ore something. Also, the time limit was a little bit long, I never felt really rushed. And maybe get a bit more money in return for feeding Dano or a bonus for completing an order, but other than those minor issues, this has probably been the best Game Jam I have played! |
| Apr 28 03:57:09 | 1h 13m | P4R3NTing 101 | ♥ 1 | Not particularly unique, but that isn't your fault. The music and sound design was great, but the "alarm" which I take it was just you going "brrr brrr brrr" gave me a jumpscare. But it was very resourceful! I had fun playing it, although I had no Idea what I was supposed to do 😆 |
| Apr 28 04:17:29 | 20m 20s | Test-a-ball | ♥ 1 | I have a lot of issues with this game sadly. 1 - the frame rate is abysmal with constant crashes 2 - How is this related to keep it alive? 3 - There is no proper way to quit other than closing it through the taskbar 4 - the physics is just weird, it doesn't work with a softbody :( 5 - No audio at all, no music, no weird squishes or anything 6 - no variance to the gameplay The Idea is cool and it had a lot of potential, but the execution was just off. I mean, for a 3D physics game made in 2 days, it's good, but only ok, nothing groundbreaking. Do I seem too harsh? Sorry if I do seem that way, it's an OK game. |
| Apr 28 22:59:24 | 18h 41m | Reload | ♥ 0 | For a first game, it isn't bad. In fact, it's actually quite good! Just a few tips for you: 1 - Focus a bit more on the UI, add a score counter and make the health indicator more obvious 2 - Audio can make a game much better. Add some "pew" and some "splat" 3 - Particle systems can make a game look much better. 4 - Figure out a system which allows you to aim well or an aiming indicator 5 - MUSIC! I didn't add music into my first game, but it really can make a game more engaging. 6 - Work on the main menu. Maybe add something about controls or something. Things you did well: 1 - The combat loop worked well 2 - There was an actual way to quit 3 - Movement worked well, the enemy AI was fine 4 - Nice graphics and Minimalist design 5 - It was a nice and challenging game In all, this is a fantastic first attempt at a game, particularly for unity. Well done! |
