And if the code could be improved (I tried to redim my windows but it didn't make a lot of difference, the controls were a little random), I managed to finish the game, so it works enough, I guess. ;) |

I don't know if I finished the game, but as nothing comes when the "a fitting place for a home" has been found, I guess so. Unfortunatly, I'm not very good at plateformers, and the boss is really too hard to defeat, so I did not unlock the lasts things. The concept somewhat reminded me Evoland, the winner of LD#24 Evolution - all I can wish for you is to follow his destiny 😉 Very well done! |

It would be useful to know wich building needs to be near wich tile (if needed), and I didn't understand how to remove another thing than the very last builded road, whatever the place I right-click in. And about that, it would be better to remove default right-click browser behavior, because I was annoyed each time by the pop-up menu. 😅 Well, everything negative said, graphics are good, and I see a lot of potential in this concept, it was very ambitious for a week-end jam, the "dare" in Ludum Dare is fully exploited here. For the work you have done, and despite the negative points above, good job anyways, I'm not sure I would make something like this playable in so short time 😉 |

And although it's not as obvious on this one, well, it's not very balanced, making it easy (I made it to 1234 of money ^^). On the other hand, I never been annoyed by the ennemies, it was very fast to build enough towers to be safe (until the enemies cease to show up, somewhere around 40th wave or so). In a whole, this game is very easy (except if you don't build one of each building at start, and in the good order), but this is good, better have an easy game than a hard one on a LD, and you obviously spent time on polished animations and graphics, and this is working, so good job anywhays. :) |
