| Apr 30 18:48:50 | Vital Investments | ♥ 0 | Nice cosy graphics, funky tune and good humor :) Can you explain the difference between income and upkeep? That will help me a lot. Also if you have a popup of a building that you don't have the money for, but your balance ticks over, the button doesn't automatically turn orange and you have to close the popup and search the building again. But that's just a small glitch in an otherwise very nice executed game! | |
| Apr 30 20:49:18 | 2h 00m | The Tail of the Serpent | ♥ 1 | I am at level 18 for the moment. Lots of cool ideas in there :) |
| May 1 08:46:50 | 11h 57m | Autumn Papillon | ♥ 0 | Very realistic. I think i am doing the right thing, but people think negative things anyway. |
| May 1 12:19:42 | 3h 32m | BLOOD FIGHTERS | ♥ 2 | Reminds me of Mortal Combat for the original gameboy. I played that game a lot on long bus trips. The lo-fi graphics style and color palette are awesome and never get boring. The variation in backgrounds makes it even better. The AI's are super smart and it's cool that opening scene has two of them fighting against each other. |
| May 1 12:59:45 | 40m 03s | Sigillis | ♥ 1 | The u shape that is on its side never worked for me and the others worked really well (browser version). But really cool that you tried working out the algorithm yourself. I think the game could work really well on a touch device :) |
| May 1 14:02:01 | 1h 02m | Drytown | ♥ 2 | Super fun quest game! Fits the theme very well! Liked the details in the buildings very much! |
| May 1 14:35:09 | 33m 08s | 1up | ♥ 1 | Sometimes it is hard to predict wether jumping off a cliff will kill you or not. So it is not a good idea to punish the player for exploring the level. I liked the 2.5D style and having the ability to choose wether you walked past a staircase or jumped on it was really nice. Making the npc's follow the player is something very hard to do and in this game it feels very solid. |
| May 1 18:56:48 | 4h 21m | Coin-Op Kid | ♥ 1 | The gameplay has a really good rhythm to it. The puzzles with dropping and picking up coins are great and the game explains itself. Keep it up! |
| May 2 17:34:14 | 22h 37m | Cursed Samurai | ♥ 0 | I like the atmosphere and the mood. The controls are a bit messed up on mac, because when you press control and an arrow key you switch desktops. Otherwise very well done! |
| May 2 17:51:44 | 17m 30s | Knight's Test | ♥ 0 | I liked that you tried to put in something personal. Sometimes it was hard to understand who was talking, but i understand because you have very limited space. The mood and the dreamlike setting were very compelling. |
| May 2 18:00:21 | 8m 37s | Behind Your Light | ♥ 1 | Nice stealth game! Liked the choice of music too... |
| May 2 18:21:39 | 21m 18s | Mercs | ♥ 1 | I liked the color palette and the graphics. Wish there was more space in the levels to explore, but that is not really the point of the game and that's fine. |
| May 2 19:12:35 | 50m 56s | Stranger Coins | ♥ 3 | The idea of the switch to being a coin was very cool. The end credits were also very funny. Great soundtrack and sound effects. Nice teamwork! PS: the keyboard loses focus when you click outside the game. Maybe this can fix your issues: https://supernapie.com/blog/keyboard-focus-in-an-iframe |
| May 2 19:51:36 | 39m 01s | 300 Hearts for Escape | ♥ 1 | Nice! I have upgraded my trading skills! The pixel art of the island was very pretty and it is very clear from the beginning what your goal is :) |
| May 4 13:40:20 | 41h 48m | Soul Searching | ♥ 0 | The color palette and graphics were really great and matched the spooky mood. You created a nice atmosphere. The physics felt a little glitchy and i think maybe you don't need the platforming at all. |
| May 4 14:07:08 | 26m 48s | Current_CE | ♥ 0 | The art was very beautiful and refreshing after playing a lot of pixelated games. The music and sound was also nice and original. There are a lot of funny animations to keep the player interested. I would add some more in-game instructions to tell the player how to control certain things and add mouse-over states to the buttons in the ui and design them more as buttons and not just plain call-to-action text. |
| May 4 14:22:39 | 15m 31s | Rashness | ♥ 2 | Thank you for also thinking of people with weird (azerty) keyboards. Also lots of camera shakes, flash and particle effects. That just makes a game so much better :) |
| May 5 14:57:17 | 24h 34m | Fortress Knights | ♥ 1 | The idea that you can destroy the bricks underneath the enemies, make them fall and then kill them, is really cool. What is also pretty cool is that i got the enemies killing each other when i stood underneath one of them. I don't think i like the anti-aliased graphics, i would just round positions to whole pixels and turn anti-aliasing off. But you know maybe that is just my taste. |
| May 5 15:17:43 | 20m 26s | Angry Hog Head | ♥ 0 | Fun game! The procedural generated levels make it fresh each time, the only problem was that the enemies could move through the platforms, which it thought was a little unfair. The graphics are well polished and the squishy sounds are fantastic. I would just add ambient background noise or something so those nice sound effects blend into it. Another suggestion i have is that i would enable the player to shoot up and down. Right now you can only fire on the horizontal axis, but it would be great to also be able to shoot on the vertical axis, maybe by pressing the up or down key when firing. But anyway: a very good game! |
