Aug 21 17:51:10 LaserJuice (Top Down Shooter) ♥ 0 Ooooh I love it! Simple, effective and very stylish, really liking the ability to change your colour scheme as well (my favourite was the purple and green; flashbacks of Day of the tentacle!). I did find the controls a little difficult to get used to, would have preferred shooting on a mouse click, got 3444 as my high score which I was pretty proud of! Very impressed with your first LD entry! :)
Aug 21 18:41:21 50m 11s LANDESCAPE ♥ 1 They left without me!? Why would the leave without me :o I love that you made a cutscene for this! Really nice game, I didn't spot any space tea though! Your boat is a little slow, but at the same time I feel this makes the game more tense! I had absolutely no luck taking out the ships above me, though I gave the bounty hunters some hell! Really liked how the gun would shoot faster as you held it down, to make it more brutal would have loved to have had an overheat on the weapon. Lovely chilled out music too, super fancy looking main menu too!
Aug 21 18:59:51 18m 30s Snake Mango ♥ 1 Nice fun snake clone, very mangoy music and I like the spin you've put on the theme. I like how you handle the room getting larger, was never sure how the room might change which made it good for replays, the only thing I will say I wasn't a huge fan of was the inputs, I found them a bit slow for snake. Otherwise loved it :)
Aug 21 19:20:59 21m 08s Crate Stacker 📦 ♥ 1 Haha loved it! I especially love that you put everyone else having a party upstairs whilst you're stacking crates. Nice simply idea, very easy controls, the only problem I had was I got trapped between some crates just at the doorway after one hurtled downstairs and pushed me in the position.
Aug 25 17:27:41 94h 06m Cardback Dicing ♥ 1 Haha loved it!! I won and beat the avocado too :D really liked the monster design, the fact that rolling more dic made more noise and the concept in general was so simple and effective. Favourite game I've played so far! It's a bit of a stretch on the theme, but I still love it!
Aug 25 17:36:04 8m 23s HITMAN: The Floor Is Lava ♥ 0 Nice! Real challenging levels, and a fantastic effort for the compo! Real nice use of the theme and perfectly captures Hitman, I did find it confusing often to know which square I was in because your placement is at the bottom of the square but got used to it eventually, it cracks me up everytime I am killed as it looks like I'm shot with laser eyes :D
Aug 25 17:41:11 5m 07s The Eternal Fight (for space in bed) ♥ 1 What an amazing take on the theme!! When I saw the thumbnail I just saw 'The Eternal Fight (for space..) I was not ready for this concept! Absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately I did have a lot of issues with figuring out the controls, the placement of the keys you've used are quite effective once you're used to them, but I did find it quite tough to place, as velvetlobster suggested this would be great with local play!
Aug 25 17:47:20 6m 09s Crazy Delivery ♥ 0 Brilliant! Loved the crazy taxi intro and finish! That little truck was insane to control, really liked the idea, lovely and simple, loved that you could drift around as well. My only problem was I had trouble differentiating the different coloured packages to the different coloured houses.
Aug 25 17:53:00 5m 40s AdSpace ♥ 0 Legs! Pretty cute idea and use of the theme, shame it had no audio, audio for all the ads on screen would have been incredibly annoying :D I did encounter a problem where I upgraded to two ammo but I still would have to reload after shooting once, really nice the idea, nice and simple and not bad for the compo!
Aug 28 17:33:00 71h 40m Overgrowth ♥ 1 Amazing, real nice management game you've put together there! I actually managed to win with 2039 points, couldn't get food growth into the positives but managed to find another planet without resorting to ANY pollution or any policies, well except for finding another planet :D nice relaxing music, I kinda feel you could make it harder by having the research plants increase in cost.
Aug 28 17:40:51 7m 51s Stacked Odds ♥ 0 I found it a bit difficult to get my head around on the controls, but shortly got used to it, I liked that you had the current totals at the top of the screen to help with knowing when to move numbers. Really nice instructions too.
Aug 28 17:47:09 6m 18s twisty tetris ♥ 0 Neat! Pretty amazing to be done in the day, I found it pretty hard as it starts to quicken the pace, but really well done, I like how there wasn't much leeway in the hole you were fitting your shape through!
Aug 29 17:20:55 23h 33m Neon Sign Placer Pro ♥ 1 Real nice visuals, and the transitions were lovely! Nice use of the theme, and the music was spot on too!
Aug 29 17:25:29 4m 34s Give Me Space ♥ 1 What a fantastic concept! Absolutely love it, the art was super cute and the audio was very fitting! I did find it very hard to get the planets to not collide! Brilliant idea for the theme!!
Aug 29 17:29:55 4m 26s Terror Cave: Redux ♥ 0 Lovely aesthetic, love the colour palette. Music is suitably catchy and the gameplay is perfect, extremely difficult but the point at which you want to keep playing, not hate the game and close it! I did have trouble jumping sometimes but I feel that might have been my keyboard. Loving the UI too!
Aug 29 17:39:52 9m 57s Hoarding Hank ♥ 0 Fantastic! I really loved how the boxes would just push the last one forwards as they got through the door, I really liked how well you could stack the boxes together as well, though I felt the pivot point would get quite awkward depending on how you had picked up a box, this guy sure has a lot of money to order all these deliveries :D The graphics were simple but effective as well! I was quite surprised with how big a house he had, but after playing on hard mode for a few minutes it stopped seeming so big! The siren noises really confused me when I let his needs get too low. Nice addition with these by the way, otherwise the game would have been very straightforward.
Aug 29 17:44:25 4m 33s Datacell: a dungeon crawl ♥ 0 I really liked the low-key art, the management worked well with the theme and gameplay, it's a shame the casting magic wasn't implemented though.
Aug 29 17:56:02 11m 37s Maze Runner ♥ 1 Loved the music, and liked the added audio, I really enjoyed that I could play the game solely with my mouse which as you pointed out made it very thematic with the control scheme, I did manage to escape and very much enjoyed my journey along the way. Very nice game!
Aug 30 17:01:07 23h 05m The Compactor ♥ 1 Brilliant idea! Nice take on the trash compactor, I was really rubbish at managing all four people though, and I hadn't realised that my guys that were searching had been placing loads of items in the inventory! My score was pitiful at 2160! Loved the graphics too, extremely well made, well polished game :)
Aug 30 17:19:30 18m 23s What To Do When Your Drive Is Full ♥ 1 I was really impressed with the polish of this game, it's a lovely puzzle game, little confusing at first, but I caught on fairly shortly after, I would have killed for a next level button though :D The level editor did not appear to work for me though as the tiles would just zoom off Northwest of my cursor after being placed. Real nice use of the theme too!
Aug 30 17:25:15 5m 45s Space Ninja ♥ 0 The controls were difficult to get the hang of but the idea behind it and the light damaging your ship was a real nice mechanic to make a simple use of the theme to a much higher level. The music is lovely and chilling, very well done indeed :)
Aug 30 17:35:19 10m 04s Disaster at Starbase 7 ♥ 1 I like it! The music is lovely, the graphics are spot on, and really nice use of the theme too!
Aug 30 17:44:31 9m 12s Tree Bomb ♥ 0 For just an idea it works really effectively as a game! Had me hooked for ages! Still an amazing feat to make something playable!
