| Apr 25 09:53:57 | Crystal Turrets | ♥ 1 | There is some potential in your game, the graphics are nice and with a little backstory for an enhanced version you could have a really cool game 😄 | |
| Apr 25 10:17:23 | 23m 26s | CardDunTris | ♥ 0 | The game could be interesting to develop further, I think the main issue with it is the lack of feedback (what are the numbers floating around for example), working on that could greatly improve the experience 🙂 The music kind of reminds me of Spyro by the way, it suits well your ambience ! Nice job, gamers family 😄 |
| Apr 25 10:52:01 | 34m 38s | CARTDS | ♥ 0 | Really nice, I played it until not having any tower for 2 waves, which destroyed me x) With a bit of tweaking you can have a solid concept ! (forcing the game to draw at least one tower on the first wave for example) Great job 🙂 |
| Apr 25 11:21:20 | 29m 19s | The Cavern of Bad Ideas | ♥ 0 | Awesome, that Metroid feel is what kept me playing and trying over ! Only 48 hours to make a game seems like it's easy for you when we see the result ! 😄 |
| Apr 25 12:22:48 | 1h 01m | Eilza | ♥ 1 | I really don't want to live there x) Why people are so mean to her, I don't know, but that's so satisfaying to answer something clever and watch them lose their words 😄 There's more depth in the game than what the screenshots can suggest, I'm glad I tested it 🙂 Graphics are cool, the music helps you keep motivation to go forth while being insulted and thrown rocks, that girl is really brave 😲 On the feedbak side, I think that rocks and insults are too fast compared at the speed at which the girl can protect, but that's a small thing to change. Anyway good job ! |
| Apr 25 12:31:59 | 9m 11s | RTHM | ♥ 1 | Too fast for me but overall great idea 🙂 Are you supposed to match what she asks when hitting the arrow keys ? I wasn't sure of what I was doing when I saw she was getting angry x) |
| Apr 25 12:47:01 | 15m 02s | Gender Circles | ♥ 1 | Not sure for the theme (Female and male are pretty compatible, if you know what I mean). The mechanics are really cool on the other hand, you should keep it and make a game with it, giving it a nice design and story could make hit something that would work on a store ! I also compose for my games and liked your music, nice job it was catchy and motivating :) |
| Apr 25 19:27:35 | 6h 40m | Type n' Jump | ♥ 2 | 09:45 and 201 commands ^^ And I'm from ElysiaGriffin stream too, my username is Halesgaar there ^^ The game is really cool, that ending was tense man ! But it was so satisfaying to finish it 😁 Great job on everything 🙂 |
| Apr 26 11:02:25 | 15h 34m | Chef, yes chef! | ♥ 2 | That was a really fun experience ! Putting the chili to the sauce pan was the difficult part, but that still stayed fun 🙂 I love games where I can just mess up the whole place, and you did a great job at it ! |
| Apr 26 11:41:36 | 39m 11s | Harvest Doom | ♥ 0 | I really liked your game. Sorry if something I say was already said, there's too many comments to check 😆 The graphics are amazing, and the sound effects and music suits perfectly your theme. I think my only complain is that attacking your own structures should not be a thing. If your goal was to allow players to make space, a button near the tower that you have to click would have done a better job. I ended up destroying one of my most expensive tower because I wanted to clear a bush (or plant, don't know exactly what it is ^^) on the map. That's still a great game, I'm impressed of what you did there 😄 |
| Apr 26 12:18:48 | 37m 12s | Goal and Crossbones | ♥ 1 | That's an awesome entry, great job 🙂 There's only one thing I would change if it was my game : don't make the music start again on a new level, let it flow, it's really nice but the levels are short, so you never really fully appreciate it 🙂 |
| Apr 26 12:42:35 | 23m 47s | Numbness | ♥ 1 | You have an interesting mechanic and ambience here, go find an artist buddy and make it even better for post LD ! 😄 |
| Apr 26 12:55:25 | 12m 50s | Dance, Farm & Feed The Monster | ♥ 2 | With a bit of tweaking (on player speed and hunger depletion), you could greatly improve the user experience I think ! 🙂 Overall it was fun to play 😄 |
| Apr 26 13:08:06 | 12m 41s | Rhythm Overdrive | ♥ 3 | I really liked it, you have a solid base for a complete game, fix what people suggested in the comments and go for it guys ! 😁 |
| Apr 26 13:28:15 | 20m 09s | Build The Road Jack | ♥ 3 | A nice concept here, allowing multiple playthroughs without being repetitive, it just lacks some feedback on the fuels : what happens when one is empty ? Does it change something having it full ? Graphics and music are working towards the same goal : making it feel polished, and that's working really well. Great entry ! |
| Apr 26 13:54:42 | 26m 27s | Delve | ♥ 1 | First tries are a bit overwhelming when you don't really know what you're doing, you have to learn few things before starting a real playthrough. I enjoyed the ambience, that poor professor running everywhere and drinking too much coffee made me laugh 😄 I read you want to remove coffee, but don't : having a way to speed up the character is a really good idea ! It took me 4 or 5 tries to succeed, so you achieved a huge goal : making a management game easy to learn. Great job ! |
| Apr 26 15:25:30 | 1h 30m | Alida of Arx | ♥ 3 | I brought darkness to the academy... Oops. Sorry guys, my bad ! That was a wonderful journey 😃 The voice acting was convincing (especially the main character !), some of them were sadly too low. The graphics does just what we ask them, the music is perfectly fitting, and you have some really inspired and sometimes funny dialogs 😄 It's impressive that you brought us a long game with such content, great job to all the team, you deserve it 😃 |
| Apr 26 15:42:40 | 17m 10s | Dungeon of High School romance | ♥ 1 | *Kiss* <3 <3 <3 Excellent game, all the texts (items, enemies types) changing depending on the place you visit just immerse yourself in the story, doing this with only ASCII art is a proof of good content ! The enemies names are fun by the way, everyone always wanted to kick a loudy kid (I think it was in the park) 😄 You should maybe center the game in the browser for better visibility 🙂 |
| Apr 26 15:57:47 | 15m 07s | KEYBOARD WARRIOR | ♥ 1 | All your feedbacks are well thought, you know what's happening at any time without having a single sound. I also like the auto-switching on weapons, it avoids that feeling of repetitivity that could happen really fast on that type of games ! The art is beautiful and gives a nice touch over that. We just lack a goal to keep playing I think (we have the same problem on our game due to lack of time), waves or levels would perfectly fit in there. And as @dp3rucha said, I could walk outside the spawning area, making it easy to avoid zombies, maybe that's why I found it easy to survive. Anyway, great job ! 😄 |
| Apr 26 16:09:05 | 11m 18s | On The Fly | ♥ 1 | @rebecca-kremer We finally had time to play, it was a great experience ! I didn't read all the comments, but I'm pretty sure everyone agreed on how beautiful the game is 😊 The sound design is really well made, everything is where it should be, the music is facultative on this type of games. I think we only lack a goal, or a sense of progression (a number of days to travel could fulfill it, or a music, more instruments adding to the theme while they love or hate each other, for example). It is by far one of the most beautiful games I played on this LD, and the most soothing 😄 Great job guys ! |
| Apr 26 17:59:55 | 1h 50m | Nanashi | ♥ 1 | I just played your game, it is beautiful and the music fits the ambience really well (but it sadly does not loop on the build I tested). Your mini games are interesting, but I think I found what the problem is with your controls (as it seems to be the recurrent subject in the comments ^^). You ask people to do precise things with a ship that has an inertia way too strong (example : the room where you have to survive). I only succeeded in the "break-out" mini game, because movement is not so important in this one, even if I fell off the map a few times. I can propose two solutions : * Keep the inertia, but make it impossible to fall off the map, by adding physical or invisible walls, and make the things you should avoid slower * Get rid of inertia, or tune it down (a lot), and keep the game the same You have the ideas, you have the nice graphics, now you need the controls that suits them 🙂 I hope I don't sound harsh, that stays my opinion and not a general truth, what I said is the kind of things you can really understand when you watch some other people play your game, it gives you the opportunity to take a completely different look of what you've done so far (which is nearly impossible during a jam sadly), if you want to develop the game further I recommend doing it 🙂 |
| Apr 30 10:34:13 | 88h 34m | Notified ! | ♥ 0 | Nice concept, it deserves a full version, if you need help for the music I would be glad to help 😁 (Ca me fait bizarre de te parler en anglais 😄) |
| Apr 30 11:49:38 | 1h 15m | Rythm is Lava | ♥ 1 | Nice game, good pixel art and polish, a great submission for a compo ! Good work ! |
| Apr 30 12:29:43 | 40m 05s | BIRKANOID | ♥ 1 | Two styles that I like combined in a game, yeah ! The gameplay is hard to get at the beginning but what a cool idea ! Great submission for a compo, good job ! |
