| May 1 15:18:01 | Depth Gun | ♥ 0 | I'm pretty bad at this, but I really like the music! Very well polished once again too. I feel like the Missiles might be a bit overpowered but maybe I'm just not using the gun well enough. | |
| May 1 15:32:03 | 14m 02s | o, the game | ♥ 1 | Very cool, a minimalist take on the 'small planet' concept that really works well IMO. I loved the planet-collapse animation too, the reduced style of everything really integrates it well. Also it's always nice to see fellow LOVErs in the wild :) |
| May 1 15:53:02 | 20m 59s | A World In Her Eye | ♥ 1 | Wow, I really love the story and the sounds that bring it to life. Some of the pixel art is really well done but I feel overall the game could use a bit more visual consistency, the light circles for example would look a lot better if they matched the rest. Also it's very cool to have this time-based story that actually has multiple endings. 👍 |
| May 2 19:16:38 | 27h 23m | Our little island | ♥ 0 | Love the cute drawings and animations :) |
| May 2 19:19:22 | 2m 44s | Monolith | ♥ 1 | Really love the dithered rendering. I think the lock-on time is necessary to trade off the shooting, but it maybe feels a bit long to stay in the enemies' fire. leafo's game is actually has a very similar mechanic: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/sphincter-quest |
| May 2 19:24:23 | 5m 01s | A World in a Jar | ♥ 0 | Sadly I can't play this on Linux, when I try to press buttons in the menu nothing happens :( It looks like a pretty complete thing though, tag me if you maybe fix it :) |
| May 2 19:56:03 | 31m 40s | Bio Noid | ♥ 2 | Is there a way to get a Linux build? The teaser looks like some awesome pixel art and I would like to give it a go :) Also I'm not sure how your game plays with international keyboards, but it's a good idea to bind both y, z and w to the same key or not use it because these are swapped on a lot of european keyboards. Alternatively using x,c,v works well with QWERTY, QWERTZ and AZERTY aswell. |
| May 2 21:14:35 | 1h 18m | The Inner Lock | ♥ 1 | Love the graphics in this one :) |
| May 3 21:57:32 | 24h 42m | Planetone | ♥ 0 | This is very cool and super polished. The only thing I would say is maybe the visuals are a bit too bright. |
| May 14 15:54:33 | 257h 57m | Lalao | ♥ 1 | This was really cool, I loved the voice acting and story. It would've been cool to have a bit more gameplay to get into the mood, but I think most of the time went into the other assets and paid off well there. Near flawless execution IMO 🙂 |
| May 14 16:10:31 | 15m 58s | Her name | ♥ 0 | As others have said, fixing the texture filtering would've probably helped the art a lot. For the gameplay it would've been nice to be able to speed up the text sometimes, it took a bit long especially after reading a line about an object and waiting for the 'Take this object?' to appear. Otherwise nice concept and props to getting it done :) |
| May 14 16:15:32 | 5m 01s | Taste the rainbow | ♥ 1 | Looks like a pretty cool concept, unfortunately I can't play it since there is no Linux build. I like the visuals of the main game but I think the title screen could look a lot better and match that style. |
| May 14 16:27:17 | 11m 45s | Rock-E | ♥ 0 | Very fun game with superb voice acting :P The art also had it's charm (and the animations are great) and it's just super funny. Great job! |
| May 14 17:31:46 | 1h 04m | Microchip IO | ♥ 2 | I really like the visual interpretation of this, mixing the metally chip optic with the logical component style. A bit more instructions would've been nice because the UI was not completely self-explanatory and even though I knew what to expect it took me a bit to figure out what to do. Otherwise this looks really well done and polished. |
| May 14 21:04:36 | 3h 32m | Turing Compete | ♥ 2 | Pretty cool visual and 2d interpretation of the Turing Machine, this could do well teaching people about it since it makes much more 'sense' coming from a general purpose computing point of view than a machine that writes symbols on an infinite piece of paper. |
| May 14 21:12:36 | 8m 00s | slovenly shopper | ♥ 1 | Hilarious game and nicely integrated theme. I loved the dramatic opening, especially with the sound for it. It got pretty hard very fast, and it wasn't always obvious which way someone was looking but I guess that's part of the game. |
| May 16 17:46:07 | 44h 33m | Penguin Deliveries | ♥ 1 | Nice simple concept and well executed with crisp graphics. One thing I would change is to add a moving (parallax?) background so it is easier to orient oneself. |
| May 18 14:48:58 | 45h 02m | Strategic Survival | ♥ 1 | Pretty cool! I love the sprites. I would have liked a bit more variety in the stuff you get attacked with, it was rather easy to spam the bigger towers and some ammo and just let it run. |
| May 18 14:56:37 | 7m 39s | TUNNELHELP | ♥ 0 | I like the concept and it fits the theme well. It would've been nice to have the city view on a key too, and I guess a bit of transparency to check alignment wouldn't hurt either. |
| May 18 15:14:47 | 18m 10s | Salacius Crumb's Small Journey | ♥ 1 | Very hard but cool game with nice music. Do you know keyboard sports? That control scheme would have worked very well here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSJkMyl-BOs |
