| May 16 18:09:35 | Smallverse | ♥ 1 | "The Destroyer emerges again only to find a universe armed to the teeth and ready for it. After a brutal war across many worlds, The Destroyer is put down, ending the cycle for good. A shining new age begins as life flourishes in this brave new universe." Does that mean I won? Funny planets with the "other info" and races, I also went through several universes to find out what results I would get with the different properties. BTW, I did not hear any sound (Firefox). | |
| May 16 18:41:48 | 32m 13s | Shrunk | ♥ 1 | Not only the health and mana bulbs reminded me of Diablo 2, but also the panic as I desperately try to run away from an overwhelming horde of enemies while trying to reach the spacebar with my pinky. Well done! The insects also move very well. Some suggestions (although you probably thought of some yourself): -use WASD (or equivalents) for movement, with F to down a potion. -Let enemies be provoked (in groups) when you attack one of them. Currently when my army died and I had not aggro'd any enemies, I had to wait too patiently for my mana bar to fill up (perhaps add mana potions as well?) and kill several until I could get the upper hand over the last few without instantly losing my army again. -Add more enemies with different strengths and weaknesses, so that the player has too choose a balanced army. It did not seem to matter very much whether I picked ants or wasps to reanimate. |
| May 16 18:57:43 | 15m 55s | Five Minute Fire Fight | ♥ 1 | Cool idea, I managed to beat it on hard, unfair was too much. As others said, it's a bit frustrating that the AI can instantly build, giving it an unfair advantage. The music could have been a bit more industrial for my taste, but the shooting sounds and explosions were nice. Good work! |
| May 16 19:30:00 | 32m 17s | Ruined Topology | ♥ 1 | Awesome music, and the game feels finished right up to the end ;) Finding the right routes is a bit tedious though, since not all triggers give a sound and there does not appear to be much logic to them. I got 9 coins! |
| May 16 19:44:06 | 14m 06s | S.A.V.E.🐣 | ♥ 1 | Awesome game, extremely polished! Usually I do not enjoy the WarioWare-type of grinding (once the puzzles start repeating), but I liked everything about this one. I "unlocked" four animals, with a high score of 2640. Photographing the bear was the best minigame in my opinion. |
| May 16 20:07:06 | 23m 00s | (Web) The Small Worlds | ♥ 1 | Fitting audio, I finished all three levels (The last one did not work... Was the world too _small_ for another level?). Innovative idea, but not very challenging from a puzzling point of view. I just created a planet behind the first one, moving in the opposite direction. Perhaps having multiple starting planets could help, a limited number of player-created planets, a timer before which all planets must have crashed, friction to make the near-misses a bit more forgiving, and special interactions between planets? The downside would of course be that it would take away from the minimalism. GG |
| May 16 20:19:52 | 12m 46s | Enlarge your planet ! | ♥ 1 | I exploded my planet once but did not feel very compelled to try again. PeachTreeOath made a good suggestion. |
| May 16 20:37:20 | 17m 28s | tinyArk | ♥ 0 | I played the first two levels, but could not figure out the third one. It is not clear to me what the influence of the planet is, apparently I cannot just launch two cows after each other, with a temperature different from that on the planet. The interface brought back some childhood memories of Millie's Math House. |
| May 16 21:34:30 | 57m 10s | Alone | ♥ 1 | Great entry, I spend a lot of time finishing it. I downloaded the source to figure out the ***SPOILER ALERT*** step of using a walkie talkie in the gramophone, after that it went pretty smoothly. Very atmospheric, the only thing that broke the style a bit was the happy face on the monster, I'm guessing time was up ;) Hope to see another game from you next time! |
