| Apr 25 16:10:28 | Space Travel 15 | ♥ 1 | The graphics are cute, especially the UI. The music fits the mood well. The difficulty increase could be smoother, it gets very hard around the time you go up a lvl. I think this game would be more fun if it was focused more on tactical decisions rather than being pressed for time, for example if it was more about trying to figure out how to make the most profit. You could consider a UI that lets the player plan the moves further ahead of time, to reduce the need for frantic clicking, and maybe slow down the flight time to give the player more time to think about tactical decisions. | |
| Apr 25 16:31:56 | 21m 28s | Globe Trot | ♥ 4 | Fun and intense game, graphics are nice, the music is really cool. Found it easiest to play by not bothering to aim the shooting, just holding it down constantly while focusing on moving, the bullets last so long they'll hit something eventually. |
| Apr 25 17:11:37 | 39m 41s | Slightly Angry Max | ♥ 2 | Fun game, feels very polished with the nice graphics and sound/music and really cool intro. I would recommend to make the player move slightly faster, he did feel a bit slow. I would also lower the hp of most enemies, the overheating combined with high enemy spawn rate and hp makes it very hard to kill them fast enough. It would be really cool to have grenades or another weapon that is more effective against a bigger group of enemies. |
| Apr 25 17:56:14 | 44m 37s | It Shakes the World Apart | ♥ 2 | Cool story, a lot of fun dialouge and funny characters. Love the graphics, very cute. The music is pretty good too, though it seems to randomly stop at times, maybe you forgot to set it to loop? At the default graphic settings, fastets, my gpu usage was over 70%, so there might be something funny in the settings there, it was running fine when I chose the highest quality settings. You should be aware that the lowest quality settings can sometimes cause very high cpu/gpu usage, for example if vsync isnt enabled the fps is not limited. In Unity you can edit this in Edit->Project Settings->Quality. |
| Apr 26 23:09:33 | 29h 13m | Headroom | ♥ 3 | Beautiful graphics, and lovely music, the atmosphere in this game is great. The puzzle was fun to figure out, but the slow walking speed on smaller sizes did get a little annoying, and the game was a bit short. The mouse sensitivity was also very high for me. Overall great entry, just wish it was longer :) |
| Apr 28 14:03:11 | 38h 53m | Tiny Tony | ♥ 3 | This is a tough mechanic to pull off, cause it can so easily become too frustrating. You did a good job, the first two levels were well balanced in difficulty, it did get a little frustrating in the last couple lvls though. I think it would be a good idea to freeze the ball physics for a second or so after it resets, on the last level it kept instantly rolling into danger. Some visual indicator of where the ball is at the start of the game would also save a bit of time trying to figure out what you are controlling. Great job on the visuals, and the music fits the mood well. |
| Apr 28 16:17:38 | 2h 14m | Beer in Mind | ♥ 1 | Love the art style, the music is great. The gameplay is interesting, but also a bit confusing and hard to get into. There is a lot of funny dialogue, but its hard to avoid the events that lead to game over without prior knowledge, which means replaying the game several times is necessary, which takes a lot of time. When it comes to serving beer and other actions you perform on the customer I think a drag and drop interface would be more intuitive. I'm guessing right know the action is performed on the one you talked to last. I tried to get the boy to leave several times, didnt seem to work. Overall this was a really cool entry. |
| Apr 28 19:46:27 | 3h 28m | Fancy meeting you here | ♥ 2 | Very funny and creative game. A lot of humor in the texts, and I found the minigames to be quite addictive when I figured them out. The one where I controlled the moving mouth was still pretty difficult though. I think you should consider telling us the controls at least, while maybe leaving the win/loss conditions to be figured out by the player. |
| Apr 28 20:19:55 | 33m 28s | Crater Creator | ♥ 2 | This game was really fun and innovative, the controls took a bit getting used too, but I didn't think they were too difficult. Its a really cool idea, and you executed it well. The intro text was funny as well. |
| Apr 28 21:28:34 | 1h 08m | Supernova | ♥ 1 | The visual style is really cool, and the drone is very cute. I like the music too, simple but catchy. The gameplay is fun, the difficulty level is good for an LD game, though the first levels are a bit too simple, and you could have reduced the amount of planets so it can be completed a bit faster. Really good entry overall. |
| May 1 13:52:08 | 64h 23m | Murder 38 - Episode One: A Small World | ♥ 2 | You've made another hilarious game, had so much fun playing this. You've definitely got a talent for humor. Awesome music as well. |
| May 2 12:57:20 | 23h 05m | Food Fight | ♥ 2 | Fun game, though I agree a secondary ability like grenade would have added a lot. The rearranging of the food each round was a nice touch. The soldier sometimes get stuck standing close to other objects, maybe you are using a rigidbody with friction?(if you dont apply a physical material, it will have some friction by default, I've made that mistake before). The graphics are great, and the music is cool, great job overall. |
| May 2 13:28:49 | 31m 29s | Planet or Die! | ♥ 2 | Awesome game, very funny and well written. Great art and music, very strong entry overall. |
| May 2 14:32:23 | 1h 03m | Toy Time Turbo | ♥ 1 | Hey, another racing game, we had the same idea :) Its really tough to make good car physics in such a short time though, it requires a lot of testing and fine tuning. You went for more realistic car physics than I did, and you got pretty close. The main issue is how the car spins around so fast if you try to make a hard turn at higher speeds, which might be realistic, but not terribly fun. The car model looks cool, and I like the hand draw wall textures. I attempted both keyboard and controller, I wouldnt say there is a huge difference, its slightly better to steer with controller, but it still has the issue with hard turns. On my controller it was right stick to accel/brake though, which was a bit awkward. I'd recommend to only use LS and the 4 buttons if you can, since they tend to be mapped to the same axis for all controllers. |
| May 3 00:51:21 | 10h 18m | Skylets | ♥ 3 | I'm impressed by the amount of planets in this game, you created a lot of content for a jam. The physics could be a bit clunky at times, but it was still fun to play. Having to escape the planet on a timer reminded me of playing Descent ages ago. You made a lot of cool models, the game looks great, and the music fit well to the mood. Great job. |
| May 3 01:10:42 | 19m 21s | EAT | ♥ 1 | The game looks amazing, great job on the graphics, and the music is really cool. The gameplay was a bit confusing, but fun and addictive. I agree with others that the lasers from offscreen ships were annoying since they are impossible to avoid at longer lengths. If they could only shoot you after coming onscreen you could at least have time to hit them first. I was also a bit confused about exactly what I was eating. |
| May 3 14:53:40 | 13h 42m | Where is mommy? | ♥ 2 | Great atmosphere in this game, very creepy, mainly because of the good background music and SFX. The art style is very cool, the game looks great, though I'd make the girl a bit smaller. The physics could be tweaked a bit, but it wasnt a big issue. I thought the girl running back when too scared was a fun mechanic, though I would have liked a counter of how many matches we have. |
