| Dec 29 22:43:00 | Manic Mars Base Manager | Honestly this experience doesn't seem at all it was made by a two man team in 72 hours. It feels more like a prototype of something I would see in the market. I am really impressed and if you guys have this idea in mind I would love seeing this progress further. | |
| Dec 29 22:46:00 | 3m 00s | Magic Trial | You guys have a great Magicka vibe right there. It is a challenging game when it progresses, and it feels polished gameplay-wise! Keep up the good work! |
| Dec 29 22:57:00 | 11m 00s | Conduction | Exceptional Graphics, really. This game looks and feels polished to a great extent. A really hard game to play if you do not have a friend with you. Specially impressed how the controller support was well implemented in so little time. |
| Dec 29 23:00:00 | 3m 00s | Mega Mecha Control Room | The idea is absurdly creative, I love how this works. It definitely sounds like something I could see being worked on a hit game, the concept is fun in itself, definitely one of the coolest rooms I visited during this Ludum was a mecha's control room! |
| Dec 29 23:03:00 | 3m 00s | One Room Battle Arena | Played this with a PS3 controller and it played fine. The idea is great and we need more local coop games. Fun game to play with coworkers in a break. |
| Dec 29 23:06:00 | 3m 00s | Room Escape | Great asthetics, the 3D makes it stand out from others of the same genre, and escape rooms fit in with the theme perfectly. <br/> <br/>PS The safe code really took a while to get. |
| Dec 29 23:10:00 | 4m 00s | change the world | Those goats are taking over the world by storm, I swear if there is a social group now that is empowered to know they can indeed change the world that group is goats! Surprising how much you can strive to change the world confined within a single room. <br/> <br/>And congratulations for your first entry! The collisions could use some more attention, though the blood effects are simply awesome! Great job! |
| Dec 29 23:12:00 | 2m 00s | Librarian | I frankly love incidental management games like this. While it could have used some more polish but time was a constraint for us all, but definitely it has a certain kind of charisma I like in games I play. |
| Dec 29 23:18:00 | 6m 00s | The Last Room | I love the idea of the sudden and unexplained backstory. But I feel the spawn rate is a bit too much, and not much feedback on the actions within the game. I don't know when I am managing or not to affect a portal. The enemies swarm me too much and I just catch myself running around aimlessly to build them up and hope for a miracle. Love how you did the visual effects, the line renderers were a nice touch, and the simple particle systems work very well. Curious design nonetheless! |
| Dec 29 23:20:00 | 2m 00s | Pizza Catcher | Frankly it feels more like a One-arena than One-room kind of thing. Still the idea cracks me up, got me thinking of why we don't have yet a reality show to decide the best pizza delivery guy! Awesome work, the graphics feel great. |
| Dec 29 23:23:00 | 3m 00s | Broom Bot Battle | Simple and effective idea, great concept. Was hard to gather a group to play this but it was fun. Maybe if it had more options for chaos and what not the game would be really fun but still it is pretty good! |
| Dec 29 23:26:00 | 3m 00s | One Cock at The Top | I never thought I would say this sentence, but this is the best kind of cock fight I have ever been in! It feels very much like a SSBB gameplay and it does feel tight for something done with such a time restriction. The deign was really interesting. Also I got to run it just fine with Windows 10, with no difficulty whatsoever. |
| Dec 29 23:38:00 | 12m 00s | SheenshIn | The game's concept is great! The infinity of the idea of the paradox about playing a game about making a game about making the game I am playing now is simply mindblowing! My main issue is with the commands frankly, I felt uneeded to keep the transition of walking. The distance in between esc and E made entering and leaving things more of a hassle than they needed to be. And it felt silly that I could be "doing" something but while I am there and not holding E it isn't raising and I am just wasting time. The SFX idea was pretty interesting but makes me wonder how you sleep with so many noises! Jokes aside the idea is great but I wished there was a greater diversity of sounds, they become in the end part of the challenge until completion. And the way you treat your awesome unicorn cat seems violent, while everyone knows you treat unicorn cats with love! <br/> <br/>But still good job, and a great creative concept I know I wouldn't ever be able to achieve! |
| Dec 29 23:41:00 | 3m 00s | Nexus Qoph | It was challenging to get it to my tablet to play this, but it was a great experience. Good thing I did, the game is great, the mechanics are really cool and frankly I can see this concept turning into a good product! Also great music and intro, one of the best mood setters I saw in the LD so far. |
| Dec 29 23:44:00 | 3m 00s | Hanabira no mairu | The graphics and ambience here are top-knotch, this is the kind of role only a game would allow me to perform. Wished there was some way to keep track of a score or something but that doesn't weaken the good experience. |
| Dec 29 23:51:00 | 7m 00s | Ilea's Life | The graphics are great, I love the skull and the characters. A bit rough in the edges, and to be frank I don't see the way this fits with the theme of one room. Though still this is a good entry nonetheless, your team should be proud since you are all talented. |
| Dec 29 23:55:00 | 4m 00s | Super Sugar Juice Man | I am sorry I couldn't resist to say this. This was definitely a juicy entry! I love the balloons that pop up with actions and it makes it feel indeed like I am a retired super comics hero. Great humor here and actions, love the one room as a goal instead of a concept. |
| Dec 29 23:59:00 | 4m 00s | Conștiență | It is absolutely stunning to hear this is your first entry. It is simply gorgeous, it is truly artistic. You caught the concept of art beautifully and the storytelling itself is awesome. To be frank I can't wait to hear more from you in the next LDs! |
| Dec 30 00:10:00 | 11m 00s | The ONE Room | Color me impressed. Doing this whole engine in Raw Javascript and all assets in the time period of the LD is definitely an achievement in both technology and art. You two should feel truly glad with what you achieved here. |
| Jan 1 23:05:00 | 70h 55m | Only One Room is Safe | Very clever game! I like the idea, but I do think that two of each type (and one new clue every turn) is a bit too much, making the game too easy. Keep polishing it, if you can! |
| Jan 2 00:04:00 | 59m 00s | Furnished | Very interesting game! The controls need some work, but it's impressive that you could could pull off a local multiplayer game without prior Unity experience. <br/> <br/>Also, for some strange reason, the game did not end or signal who won or lost even after all furniture had been tossed. |
| Jan 2 00:17:00 | 13m 00s | Room is a Relative Term | Nice and tough little puzzle game. I had trouble reaching the end before giving up. XD <br/> <br/>I think the only suggestion I could give is perhaps trying to make the game screen biggger to be able to make the tiles a bit larger? Even with the gray background, it's a bit difficult to discern which colour is which... |
| Jan 2 00:29:00 | 12m 00s | Maze Room | Nice game! The procedural generation sometimes make stages with only two energy orbs, which in turn makes the boss too quick to reach. But the concept is cool and the graphics are cute! <br/> <br/>Since the game movement isn't tile-based, could I suggest making the shooting angle controlled by the mouse instead of the arrow keys? Then you could easily shoot at an angle, which might open up new opportunities for future challenges. |
| Jan 2 00:33:00 | 4m 00s | Thirsty Dino | I had the same problem as others, the bottle sometimes spawns too far away and you then simply can't help but fossilize. <br/> <br/>Also, why does the dino become thirsty again so quickly? Is it because the meteor is quickly approaching? If so, getting something to drink should be the least of its worries. =) |
| Jan 2 00:41:00 | 8m 00s | Lavender | The controls are a bit weird, I would have really liked mouse controls better, to give a better sense of "holding with my hand". Also, not sure if it's just me, but the ball falls easily through the non-existing ceiling if you're a shoddy player like me. Might be a good idea to add a glass ceiling! <br/> <br/>Other than that, very nostalgic game! Right in the feels. =D |
| Jan 2 00:52:00 | 11m 00s | Journey to Mars | Quite enjoyed the writing and the humor! I personally would prefer knowing in advance the stat to roll against, but all in all, I like the game and would want to play a longer version. |
| Jan 2 01:15:00 | 23m 00s | Make One Room Great Again | I didn't even understand the idea behind the game name before reading pcmxms's comment. Haha, very clever! <br/> <br/>I really think more levels would have been great. Also, showing the optimal solution might be a good idea, since I don't know if I did well or it the highscores are just too lenient! Overall, I really like the game, it's short but quite well-polished. |
| Jan 2 01:21:00 | 6m 00s | Dont Breathe | You had me interested with the idea, and I think you should keep working on the game after the jam! There doesn't seem to be a "game" there yet in this demo, but the game this has the potential to become as a "tiny ecosystem simulator" is quite nice. |
| Jan 2 01:29:00 | 8m 00s | Fistlinger | Fun game! Punching the crap out of enemies was more fun than shooting them, haha. It gets a bit brutal when there are too many enemies and during the boss battle, but it's still a lot of fun. <br/> <br/>The game slowed down in the web version with too many enemies, though. It became quite noticeable at some points, so trying to optimize it is a suggestion for future versions. =) |
| Jan 2 01:37:00 | 8m 00s | breaker | Nice game! Very interesting idea with the flashlight! <br/> <br/>But I think the jumping on "floating blocks" parts were a bit too difficult, since they are so thin and you end up falling a lot... |
| Jan 2 01:50:00 | 13m 00s | RubixRoom | The camera certainly didn't help me understand what I was supposed to do, but overall, the Rubix idea of rotating the room was very nice, and the game would be great if polished and with a lot more puzzles. Great job! <br/> <br/>Also, the character looks cute! |
| Jan 2 02:14:00 | 24m 00s | VRPG | Very nice graphics and idea, but the game is way too grindy, and the player just can't feel the results of their labor because the progression is way too slow. A suggestion would be to make enemies have less health, or decrease the enemy amount in the 2nd room. <br/> <br/>Also, the archer class is almost unusable compared to the swordsman. |
| Jan 2 02:26:00 | 12m 00s | Bill Untold | I felt the gameplay was a bit confusing, and that whether you succeed or not is basically purely by chance. On the other hand, the game has a very good mood and fitting graphics, it just needs to be a bit clearer and give more feedback to the player. <br/> <br/>Also, I'm a little curious as to what really happened in this "darkest timeline". |
| Jan 2 02:40:00 | 14m 00s | Spatially Efficient Party | Simple and nice game, and certainly remarkable for having been done in only a few hours! Though I would suggest to talk about the people through the color of what they're wearing other than names you have to guess. =p |
| Jan 2 02:45:00 | 5m 00s | BigRyan591 | Cute game. Was it your son's idea? It's quite well done for a 1-hour game, I probably couldn't do much in the same time frame. I also liked the music, though it was a bit too loud! |
| Jan 2 02:54:00 | 9m 00s | One Roomba | It seriously takes a lot of effort to code a game with just your phone, fantastic job! <br/> <br/>The game itself is fun, using its core mechanic very well. Never thought I'd see a game about a setient Roomba wondering its purpose! |
| Jan 2 03:03:00 | 9m 00s | Building Contract #DE190290 | Heavy time dependency on JS is indeed not a good idea, but the game works well enough and it's a very clever idea! <br/> <br/>I would like to see a more polished version with more tracks after the jam. |
| Jan 2 03:14:00 | 11m 00s | Box: A Short Story | The game has a very nice mood to it, well done! But I failed to complete it. I just couldn't seem to grasp where to place the box in each time to do something meaningful. |
| Jan 2 03:53:00 | 39m 00s | Room 41 | Great entry! Very different game, both creative and a little unsettling. My suggestion would be to make the bots more responsive, that would increase the feeling of how real the consequence of your actions might be. <br/> <br/>Also, I'm curious as to the 3 possible endings! |
| Jan 2 03:59:00 | 6m 00s | Don't Touch It, Cat! | Great game! I especially love the graphics, they're awesome and definitely the highlight of your game! <br/> <br/>Also, you did a very good job for your team's first participation in a Ludum Dare. Hope you guys are motivated to keep participating and making/playing good games! |
