The idea wasn't bad though ! :)
But yes, a bit hard to play and if you miss some nails then the music doesn't fit to the nails frequency anymore.

Played well for a little while and seemed quite good. I really enjoyed the audio. I wouldn't put yourself down like you are, you're not a terrible dev, it's not easy building a game in 48 hours, and this is a good entry! Well done!
Not that bad! cool idea, funny robotic voice. Just broke down at the higher tempos, but I don't think it was a bad effort.
Heavy time dependency on JS is indeed not a good idea, but the game works well enough and it's a very clever idea!
I would like to see a more polished version with more tracks after the jam.
I like the idea of a rhythm game and the way you interpreted the theme. Unfortunately, the fact that the audio didn't sync properly takes away from the experience a lot. I think it needs more polish, or perhaps use a readymade engine that helps with the technical stuff.
CHAKA CHAKA PATA PON
That was a great idea and was just lacking a bit of polish for the gamplay. With some additional clues and more accurate audio it could be great
Good idea. Seemed like the first stage worked well, up until the fastest beats. I would have put more effort into the music, since this is a rhythm game. Good that you put instructions into the game.
Interesting take on the theme, and not quite like anything I've played before!
I absolutely didn't notice whatever tearing or sync problems you were talking about in the warning... so no worries there! It took me a little while to realize that I wasn't supposed to hammer continuously, but that it was measure by measure alternating between showing me the pattern and then asking me to repeat it. Once I realized, this felt completely obvious because of course the board with nails was not even moving during the showing measures! I have no clue why I was being dumb about that.
If I could change one thing, it would be to make the hammer really go down all the way to the board so it actually feels like it was driving the nail in with authority. Right now the way it kind of taps the tip of the nail and then the nail goes down by itself, it feels kind of disconnected, like the core action of the game isn't real.
But an interestingly odd entry which I enjoyed - good job!
