| Apr 20 00:11:00 | Block Shift | Solid Entry, could definitely see it as a IPhone game with a little more polish. | |
| Apr 20 00:17:00 | 6m 00s | PixelShifter | I love the concept and I think that a few minor adjustments, such as confining the pixels to the horizontal plane so they don't fall off the world, would go a long way into making a really fun game. |
| Apr 20 00:27:00 | 10m 00s | The Shard Collector | I'm a sucker for twinstick shooters, but the square guy was just a tad slow for my taste. The fact that each character was a little different was a fun discovery, all in all a lot of fun. |
| Apr 20 00:35:00 | 8m 00s | Shift the Shapes | Fun, but kind of frustrating without a grid in the foreground to see how things line up. Also, shapes can be placed on top of each other without penalty? I could only get a highscore of 7 without cheating :/ |
| Apr 21 19:49:00 | 43h 14m | Origami Ride | I thought it was a fun concept with not enough to do, plus sometimes it felt like you could not get out of the way of the bird poo. Still got a score of 280 :) |
| Apr 21 23:38:00 | 3h 49m | Abducktion | Great entry! Sometimes I moved a little fast for my own good, but I got through the entire thing without any trouble. I loved the art direction and the music gave everything some kind of urgency. I especially liked flying as the duck or running through doors as a chick. |
| Apr 21 23:49:00 | 11m 00s | ⬛R⬤PPING ONTO SH▲PES | I got stumped at level 5 :| I guess I'm not really good at puzzle games. Other than that I pretty much agree with everybody else about how nice the style and sound effects are, and how bothersome it can be to reset the level each time you lose. |
| Apr 22 00:05:00 | 16m 00s | Shapeshift Warriors | I played through all 7 levels and it was a fun mechanic, but changing shape and size kind of took me out of it a little. Small changes, such as making the menu start on the current shape and making it change your health to whatever size you're switching to would go a long way in improving it for example. |
| Apr 22 00:21:00 | 16m 00s | Those Aren't Stars | Definitely cute with charm to spare, but moving platforms take ages. Also some sounds are obnoxiously loud such as the death blip. Other than that I found the game to be quite enjoyable. |
| Apr 22 00:37:00 | 16m 00s | ShapeCrafter | *Ka-chunk* ...
*Ka-chunk* ...
*Ka-chunk* ...
^ Me on the last level ^
I thought the game was pretty intuitive and to me it felt kind of like a bare-bones rhythm game. It was but changing colors was random as far as I could tell and really ruined my groove. |
| Apr 22 00:53:00 | 16m 00s | Malformed | Even though the game doesn't really fit the theme, it's still a classic shooter - can't go wrong with that. Plus you accomplished creating the engine in the 48 hours? Impressive! |
| Apr 22 01:05:00 | 12m 00s | PowerShift: The People's Republic of United Democristan | Took awhile for me to understand what was going on, and even once I finally got a grip, it was still incredibly involved. It was fun to just click on people and make them fight and stuff though. If it was dumbed down for a layman such as myself it would be a totally awesome little time-waster! |
| Apr 22 01:15:00 | 10m 00s | Neon Fighters | It really launches you into the heat of battle, and to be honest I still don't really understand how the game is played. I tried every type of unit and exploding the enemies by clicking them but I always ultimately ended up losing. Ended up feeling more like cookie clicker than a tower defense game, but that's not a bad thing :) I had fun |
| Apr 22 01:22:00 | 7m 00s | Give me Six | Really struck me as one of those built in windows games for some reason - that's a compliment :P fun little game. |
| Apr 22 01:32:00 | 10m 00s | Shape Shifter Match Maker | I had probably an unhealthy amount of fun playing, so simple but so engaging for some reason. Small bugs here and there, but they do nothing to make the game any less good. |
| Apr 22 23:11:00 | 21h 39m | King Of The Claw | I had a lot of fun playing, the claw was the best part. A little barebones but a great entry! |
| Apr 22 23:30:00 | 19m 00s | Turnstone | Very similar to my entry, so needless to say - flawless. Joking aside, I liked the feel of everything, very tactile, but at the same time, pretty barren world. A background or bgm would do a lot to make it feel more complete. |
| Apr 23 11:48:00 | 12h 18m | A Suttle Haze | Incredibly engaging, and as a result disappointingly short. Everything from the art-style to the music had me totally captivated. Quality work! |
| Apr 23 11:51:00 | 3m 00s | Morph Brawl | Like everybody before me, my only complaint is lack of content. The music and art are good, it's just missing more enemies and transformations to make it feel more complete. Good work otherwise. |
| Apr 23 12:11:00 | 20m 00s | Dungeon Shift | The actual game was fine, but things such as poor control or your character and huge maps kind of drew from the enjoyment a little. Otherwise, I was pretty ensconced in the experience until I just couldn't find a way out of level 7. Solid entry :) |
| Apr 23 12:18:00 | 7m 00s | Pop/Swap | Good stuff! I felt like I could cheese the levels a bit with the mechanics, but really that's to be expected in such a short time frame. On a related note, the only real issue I have with it is lack of content, but what can you do? |
| Apr 23 12:25:00 | 7m 00s | Card De-Wolf | I played a couple times but it got pretty formulaic after I really knew what I was doing. A few more cards would have shaken up the gameplay and made it a bit more interesting I think. |
| Apr 23 12:36:00 | 11m 00s | Polyblob Bob | Totally awesome idea! Implementation was so-so but if I were to suggest a few things, make it so that right clicking doesn't even do anything because to be honest it just made me confused. If the movement of his corners was a bit more responsive I'm sure the game would have been a blast! Sadly I couldn't get past the quad stage :( |
| Apr 23 12:46:00 | 10m 00s | Shape Switch | Neat puzzler, but it feels pretty empty with only six levels and no music. If the camera followed the player, or even if you were allowed to resize the window I think I could have enjoyed it a lot more. Also, I wouldn't worry about saving and loading games for Ludum Dare, the games tend to be so small it doesn't even matter. Nice first entry! |
| Apr 23 12:51:00 | 5m 00s | The Adventures of Blinky, The Square-Shaped Round-Thing | I'm afraid that the entire time I was just very confused about everything :/ |
| Apr 23 12:56:00 | 5m 00s | Rubik's Plane | Nice little stress-free game. Good job! |
| Apr 23 13:05:00 | 9m 00s | The Ragdoll Show | Cute idea, but the only one I could do was the square and it was by pure luck :p good job! |
| Apr 23 18:01:00 | 4h 56m | By The Light Of The Spire | Everything was nice and polished, but things like double jumping were a little hard. Well done! |
| Apr 24 15:05:00 | 21h 04m | Morph | I understand that it would make the game too easy, but not being able to transform at will is a bit of a bummer because there are points where you're just sitting not able to pass over a wall. Maybe if it was a cycle with a set timer? |
| Apr 24 15:25:00 | 20m 00s | In the Court of the Kingly King | Fun stuff! I was absolutely enthralled! |
| Apr 24 15:32:00 | 7m 00s | S.D.A: Shapeshift Detection Agency | The graphics for the various people didn't load in the web build, but otherwise the experience was full and charming. At first I was afraid of a fairly cookie-cutter memory game, but slight wordplay made the thinking a little more critical and likewise, the game more enjoyable. |
| Apr 24 16:16:00 | 44m 00s | Tesselate | Neat little puzzle game with some nice icing on the cake with that fanfare at the end! |
| Apr 24 16:31:00 | 15m 00s | Fusionshift | Initially confused, but once I got it... I was still kinda confused :p I'm not sure how you could make it easier to play without losing the novelty of the puzzle but I still found it enjoyable. |
