Apr 19 22:10:00 Orion's Battle I love it, pretty interesting to avoid enemies while trying <br/>to hit them with a bomb that is next to you. However, the game seems to freeze when I press space. Is this supposed to happen? <br/> <br/>Regarding the OP saying that on Linux the game is "weird and it sometimes doesn't work"; It's working perfectly fine for me, launched a couple of times.
Apr 20 01:24:00 3h 14m HUGbot After I stopped being silly and read the description, I was able to get a score of 420. <br/> <br/>The game isn't bad, but it could use more variance; Seems to easy to just sit in one spot and hold the hug key to camp and hug <br/>most if not all of the robots, especially since they stop moving when they collide with the player.
Apr 20 01:35:00 11m 00s Bears and Bees I love the scrolling background and enemy death animations. <br/> <br/>Though I did not get very far before losing, it seems like a fun game and the concept/back story is pretty cool.
Apr 20 02:23:00 48m 00s Gravity-Gun Hmm, when I try to launch the jar on Linux, I get this error: <br/> <br/>Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/pianoman/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Apr 20 02:38:00 15m 00s Boxmagedon Got to a score of 860 before losing; Really fun and <br/>straightforward. Loved it. <br/>Graphics and title screen are pretty cool as well. <br/> <br/>However, I don't really see how the weapon is unconventional. <br/>Maybe I'm just tired.
Apr 20 02:44:00 6m 00s Square Sprint Won with 711 clicks and a time of 4:24. I was slightly stuck at the beginning while figuring things out, however, beyond that it was very fun and interesting. Great job.
Apr 20 03:29:00 45m 00s TOUCH MY POOBY Game seems to have a nice twist from the cookie clicker style it seems to be based on. Background fits well with the interesting story, and instructions are really not needed. <br/> <br/>The enemies left was confusing at first as I thought the person in the bottom right corner was an enemy (especially since he seems to disappear when I click him), but I quickly figured out how the game and upgrades work. <br/> <br/>Beat the game in 351 seconds, and it was certainly entertaining for said period. <br/>Good job.
Apr 20 03:51:00 22m 00s Robot Downfall Beat the second "boss" like entity thus far, and I must say the game is amazing for the given amount of time. Art is consistent, levels are made well, game is fun to play, and the pens are pretty unique. <br/> <br/>You've done a really great job.
Apr 20 04:08:00 17m 00s Sweet Dreams Music fits the game well, animation is nice, and the game is fun to play. However, as stated by Finn, a compo submission's music must also be made by you and within the compo time period.
Apr 20 04:20:00 12m 00s Ay Pinatas! Love all of the pixelated animation, especially the player's. <br/>Graphics and game play are both pretty smooth.
Apr 20 04:27:00 7m 00s RRRR Idea is pretty unique, and the splash screen helps create <br/>an old style theme for the game. Audio is pretty interesting, and graphics are consistent. <br/> <br/>My first impression was "smooth/well put together"; Really looks and feels great. <br/> <br/>Got a score of 600 and must say the game is very enjoyable.
Apr 20 04:35:00 8m 00s The Legend of the Yo-Yo Salesman Environment is pretty calming, and the instructions at the beginning <br/>are done pretty well. The music is amazing. The music and environment give a pretty interesting feeling while playing. <br/> <br/>Overall amazing experience playing.
Apr 20 04:42:00 7m 00s Smash the Elfiarchy The game is fun at first, but gets old since there is no way <br/>to win or lose. Good job on what you have completed, though.
Apr 20 04:48:00 6m 00s Apocalyptia Music is pretty cool and fits in well with the theme. <br/>Lighting is great, and art is really smooth/consistent. <br/>Death screen is nice, but shouldn't the game go back to a menu or simply restart rather than closing itself? It can be annoying restarting the jar each time you lose.
Apr 20 04:50:00 2m 00s Close Quarter Time Distorter Instructions are straightforward, and I got the hang of the game pretty quickly. The wall art is a little odd, but it all fits in together well. Battle system is pretty unique and interesting.
Apr 20 04:56:00 6m 00s Rhythm Gunner Loved it. Music is great, art is nice, and the idea itself is unique. <br/>Had a good time playing it. <br/> <br/>Really cool that you've added a co op mode.
Apr 20 05:06:00 10m 00s Shop 'Til You Drop All of the different items and their uses really add to the game, and I had a fun time playing it as the game has a good challenge mixed with a fun element (shopping).
Apr 20 05:17:00 11m 00s Zombie Hut Played for a few minutes, killing 17 zombies. Movement was confusing at first, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Game play is pretty fun music really adds to it. Overall, I enjoyed myself and plan to retry so I can get to a much higher difficulty. <br/> <br/>The information/tips are easy to read and help a lot at the right <br/>times.
Apr 20 05:20:00 3m 00s Hemland - a Roguelike The level system is pretty interesting, but movement can be slightly annoying as you can't move in two directions at once. <br/> <br/>Overall nice job.
Apr 20 05:42:00 22m 00s RoboFight Hmm, I'm getting this error when launching the jar on Linux. <br/> <br/>Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/shc/ld32/game/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Apr 20 05:59:00 17m 00s Bomb parts I love it. Beginning announcer is great, and I love the challenging puzzle aspect. All art is put together smoothly and looks great. Definitely able to get a good amount of play time out of this. <br/> <br/>Overall interesting, fun to play, and unique.
Apr 20 06:18:00 19m 00s Love Hurts The music really sets a good mood for the game, and I really like <br/>the center hitboxes for the enemies; Adds a fun challenge.
Apr 20 06:21:00 3m 00s Dreamy Pillow The way out of the first room was confusing at first, but I figured it out pretty quickly. The small sprites, large number of ghosts, and short weapon ranges give it a nice effect.
Apr 20 06:32:00 11m 00s Grow My Thing The physics of said "thing" add a fun element to the game, <br/>but I think it could be somewhat harder, e.g spawning more "nazis". <br/> <br/>I got to a high score of 50.
Apr 20 06:38:00 6m 00s Terminal Velocity The Linux version gives an exe, but the game works flawlessly <br/>in Wine. Might want to fix that. <br/> <br/>Got a high score of 1200.
Apr 20 06:46:00 8m 00s Splitting Hares Great game. The bunny death sound and sprite both look pretty nice, and remind me of a game I used to play a long while back. It's pretty fun to smash those bunnies with a huge pickaxe.
Apr 20 19:11:00 12h 25m Hackinator Love the UNIX styled terminal. The terminal messages/instructions help out the feel a lot, and the back story is interesting. Overall, great job!
Apr 20 20:53:00 1h 42m An Apple A-Day Got a score of 40. Game is really smooth and fun to play; Great job.
Apr 20 21:12:00 19m 00s Space Boy Pretty fun to fight while navigating around the planet. Really loved it.
Apr 20 23:09:00 1h 57m Ageless Machine: Cup of Tea I love it. Art style is pretty unique, and gameplay is straightforward. <br/> <br/>Also, bonus points for tea. ;)
Apr 20 23:14:00 5m 00s Ah, Blast It! Gameplay is pretty fun with the enemy's movement AI. The player speed slowdown after a little bit of playing that quickly went back made me think the game had started lagging, though.
Apr 20 23:37:00 23m 00s Yappy Monsters! Pretty interesting to play, and animations are nice. Haven't seen another LD32 game like this as of yet.
Apr 20 23:39:00 2m 00s Burd Turd The game is pretty challenging, but it is fun. Could use more of a balance of content/difficulty, adding more enemies and less challenge to killing them.
Apr 20 23:50:00 11m 00s Bioterrorism Battling was a little confusing at first, but it's fun after I had figured it out. Gameplay could be more fast paced, however.
Apr 20 23:52:00 2m 00s Super Magiball Extreme Deluxe Gameplay, art, and animation are all wonderful. I love the unique weapon, and beat the first level in about 20 seconds. Great game.
Apr 21 03:12:00 3h 20m Beautiful Chaos Played it, got a score of 7125. The game is nice and runs flawlessly on Linux with Wine, but I don't see how it fits into the theme. Maybe I'm missing something.
Apr 21 19:45:00 16h 33m Out Shooting Boxes Could use difficulty adjusting, but other than that, fun game.
Apr 21 19:54:00 9m 00s rainboWarrior Runs fine on Linux under Wine, and I love the art style. The game could use WASD controls as well, though; You can only right/left with SD, while you can also jump with the arrow keys.
Apr 21 21:23:00 1h 29m Banana Bandit Could really use more levels, but other than that, it's nice. As others have said, UI/controls and animation could help a lot.
Apr 21 21:47:00 24m 00s Bubble Trubble First level is a little hard, but other than that, it's amazing and very well polished for a compo game. Great job.
Apr 21 21:50:00 3m 00s AKIMBO Pretty unique idea and fun. Survived a number of waves and really love the tower defense/player twist it has.
Apr 21 22:40:00 50m 00s B • Scott Love the player movement and theme. Somehow reminds me of Earthbound &lt;3
Apr 21 22:52:00 12m 00s The Spooky Ghost This is amazing, and really fun to play. Working flawlessly on Linux with Wine.
Apr 21 22:53:00 1m 00s Tony's Adventure Getting a dropbox error while trying to download. "Error (500)"
Apr 21 23:03:00 10m 00s Behind the Fence I really love the concept, interesting to play. Good job for 24 hours.
Apr 21 23:11:00 8m 00s Terroba Run Love the challenge/money combo; Fun to try making a profit each level.
Apr 21 23:13:00 2m 00s payload Menu could be neater, but other than that, interesting and fun concept.
Jul 12 23:20:00 1968h 07m Pretzel Defense Cool concept, but it could use a lot more polish and in game instructions. Really not challenging to play by yourself, though; That's a big downfall.
