Aug 26 13:04:00 DogRocket Nice and chaotic, especially with all the parts flopping around, but the fact that the parts are kind of hard to click on and don't always snap to the object can get a little frustrating. I found it pretty hard to get more than two rockets attached, but the game certainly made me want to try several times!

-GV
Aug 26 13:23:00 19m 00s Pistols at Dawn Controls for shooting felt a little finicky - oftentimes if I moved my mouse out of the canvas after clicking it just wouldn't shoot, but I eventually got the hang of it. Round 1 headshots are very satisfying! Nice entry, and clever take/wordplay on the theme
Aug 27 21:50:00 32h 27m Dust in the Candy Megaverse Ah, final level was tough. I had to start in reverse to get through it. Wasn't until the level prior that I realized I was a vacuum cleaner vacuuming literal piles of dust. Vocal levels were a bit low but other than that it was a very solid entry!
Aug 28 00:55:00 3h 05m Rude Bear Radio You really nailed the WarioWare aesthetic. Some of the games play really well (Space Invaders, Mario) while others are less responsive (Angry Birds). Would have liked if the rounds ended once you died instead of having the clock run down. But overall, a good use of the concept and fun to play.
Aug 28 01:04:00 9m 00s I need to save the world! Nice simple concept. Really makes you work to get that world-saving score. I liked that I also saved Saturn.
Aug 28 01:23:00 19m 00s Life'Short Didn't really fit the jam theme at all, lack of audio is a shame as the visuals are cool. Wrong place wrong time for this one, as it's not bad, it just doesn't fit the jam.
Aug 28 01:45:00 22m 00s Time To Cook, Comrade Great work. This is a really unique concept that puts a pretty cool spin on the 10 second theme.
Aug 28 01:56:00 11m 00s Billy! Cleanup on aisle 5! Overall a fun little jar-smasher. Cool song.
Aug 28 02:02:00 6m 00s Pizza Time Looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Aug 28 23:22:00 21h 20m Baking Bread 9880. Pro-tier internal clock?

I found the score to accuracy discrepancy pretty forgiving. I'd think a discrepancy of 0.5s would be worth more than the 50 point penalty that it was

Simple game, but a very unexpected concept!
Aug 28 23:37:00 15m 00s Bit-ship Ld27 By lcass I really wish you could click on a tile to select it, as that is my natural instinct and I did so several times, placing tiles I shouldn't have placed. It was a bit overwhelming and complicated, which is a bit of a burden for most people. I think the learning curve can easily put someone off.

I played around a bit after watching the tutorial, but still didn't fully understand what I was doing or what my objective was :(
Aug 28 23:42:00 5m 00s Out Of Time Took me a few tries to figure out what I was supposed to do, but it was pretty neat! Loved the idea of reversing time to achieve something that takes more than 10 seconds in 10 seconds
Aug 28 23:56:00 14m 00s Swipe The Roast I didn't see any groceries on the shelves and there only seemed to be one item per game?

Found it much easier to control when going backwards. That's how I'll do my shopping from now on...
Aug 29 00:12:00 16m 00s Seanan's Brewery This is a very impressive game, both visually and functionally, for something made in such a short amount of time! Good job!
Aug 29 00:21:00 9m 00s 10 Seconds I felt kind of at a loss for what I was supposed to be choosing. I won the first round I played (I don't know why) and lost the next two I played (I don't know why).

The writing was pretty strong. I just wish I had a better understanding of what was going on
Aug 29 13:13:00 12h 52m Aliens and such Very easy to understand, pick up, and go without even remembering to read your introduction. Very clever game design. It was really fun!
Aug 29 16:54:00 3h 41m Ten Second Trip It gave me a real demoscene kinda feel to it! :D
Aug 29 17:03:00 9m 00s Lokopolis Seeing "THE CYCLOPS IS COMING" is terrifying!
Aug 29 17:47:00 44m 00s Loopy Lumberjack That dance mode! :D
Aug 29 18:10:00 23m 00s EcoStar vs Aeronox I can't say much more than what was already said, but good job and I'm glad to see another STG out here! :D
Aug 29 22:55:00 4h 45m ToTheRescue Pretty solid entry. It was a bit easy but the level designs were good and I'm pretty sure with the mechanics you have in place you could flesh out a deeper game with more interesting puzzles and challenges.
Aug 29 23:01:00 6m 00s BouncyTime VERY interesting concept, and well-executed!
Aug 29 23:29:00 28m 00s Flajora's Flask I cheated and looked at the walkthrough twice (getting the shoes and train ticket)

This is sizeable for a LD game and plays fairly nicely, but the gem rooms were a bit frustrating to me
Aug 30 00:07:00 38m 00s Stache Of Glory 2: Shavin' Through Dimensions It had a lot of charm, but I found the game far too frustrating to play all the way through. One simple mistake brings you back to the beginning of the game, and I've played the first six to nine dimension instances dozens of times. Some of the agents move at such a speed that you can't jump over them until they turn around, but they won't turn around until after your time is up.
Aug 30 00:17:00 10m 00s Hungry Fishers Dream Team Very polished entry. How do you skip the intro quickly? Every time I died I sat through it for quite a bit, but since the only way to lose is to be forgetful, I couldn't let myself give up on it. Finding the green fish was a little annoying as were the aiming controls, but the visuals and mood were top-notch!
Aug 30 00:32:00 15m 00s Magnus Bacon's "The 10 Second Sell" Nice FF-esque sounds and sprites. Audio was really good, but I didn't feel any incentive to keep playing after a while.

Knowing that I don't have to type spaces is nice, though. Time saver
Aug 30 23:08:00 22h 36m S0LB0T Lack of audio was disappointing and controls were a bit finnicky, but I felt myself drawn more into the game the more I played. I felt like the boss had too much health, but all the same, it kept me moving around and on my toes.

Then, that bit at the end.

Well, I'm not going to give anything away, but it got down to the wire. I mean right down to the wire. You've got some pretty solid design ideas in this little wonder.
Aug 30 23:25:00 17m 00s Lil' Kingdom Strives To Survive Being able to pan with keyboard and not mouse would have been a huge control improvement. Other than that, it was a solid entry. The greedier you get with the housing, the tougher it is to deal with upkeep, so there's an interesting balancing act at work.
Aug 30 23:30:00 5m 00s You're a fly The black = good things, grey = bad things could have been telegraphed a bit better, such as having enemies be red. Border indicators would have also been nice; you need very good reaction time to avoid running into them. The flies sometimes did their best to dodge me and it gets hectic trying to find a mate with a ton of enemies chasing you, but that's what makes it fun. Very challenging, though
Aug 30 23:37:00 7m 00s Trapped Collision detection was a bit too sensitive for my liking. I touched the lava while trying to round a corner in the level with the long winding halls and that effectively disabled the game, since you need those +10's to make it there and they don't respawn. It needed a bit of polish, but for a jam this is a pretty big game!
Aug 30 23:54:00 17m 00s T minus 10 The first time a space helmet fell out of the rocket, konked me in the head, and broke the helmet I was wearing made me laugh. Same goes for the first time I realised you can stay at the far left and be invincible...until I got smoked by a meteor. Kinda sucks that health crates can damage you, but realistically, it makes sense. Pointy corners and whatnot.
Aug 31 00:33:00 39m 00s Red Or Blue ? I clearly cannot think quick enough :(
Aug 31 00:47:00 14m 00s Mission: Save Gliese Fairly easy, but still fun! Good work, and a good selection of levels!
Aug 31 01:15:00 28m 00s Dodge These Staying to the far right allows you to dodge everything.

This game is chaotic otherwise! Makes you feel awesome when you navigate a minefield flawlessly
Aug 31 03:22:00 2h 07m Forage Would have preferred the collect type only change once every five seconds, or only on some special trigger as opposed to every second, but other than that, it's more than I'd be able to do in 2 hours!
Aug 31 18:27:00 15h 05m Blackout The music was awesome. I'm not sure if I got the "ending" or not; as soon as I used the bat it brought me right back to the title screen. I'm assuming I was wrong, because I played through the game again (all doors were unlocked) several times and just systematically hit each dude one after another but it always just brought me to the title screen
Aug 31 18:42:00 15m 00s Silver Found hurdles to be fairly easy; beat it on my first try. Long jump, however, took me more tries than everything else combined. That one was tough.

Clever ending!
Aug 31 18:51:00 9m 00s Journey to the Edge of Time Got to the final boss but there was no feedback on whether or not my attacks were doing anything. I'm assuming they weren't, because after a minute or two of healing/hitting, I eventually died
Aug 31 19:05:00 14m 00s Rocket Rampage The decision to make it impossible to go backwards was a good one imo, otherwise it would have been too easy to pick up fuel at high speeds
Aug 31 19:35:00 30m 00s The First Odyssey Couldn't figure out what to do once partway into the castle. Saw a button I could hit with an arrow firing up through a tunnel, but it didn't seem to do anything, or I couldn't find the companion button.
Aug 31 22:10:00 2h 35m Orction House Panic Loved the dialog, and the mechanics were pretty nifty as well! Also liked how characters would turn around with this "What the hell, man?" look on their faces when you forced them to bid on something
Sep 1 02:43:00 4h 33m Dinosaur Jr. vs the 1960's Didn't realize how to win the first couple times, but I got it eventually!
Sep 1 14:55:00 12h 12m Dig Dream It ran a little slow for me and jumps felt too floaty (not being able to hop) but the reverse time mechanic was well-implemented for the most part. It was fun seeing it actually rewind, but if you were in the middle of a platforming section it was hard to recover, since there's no prompt, it just immediately jumps back in
Sep 1 17:34:00 2h 39m Half the Time That had a powerful narrative for a game about circles rolling through squares in order to survive. Well done!
Sep 2 00:52:00 7h 18m Burrito Blaze not a lot of game CONCEPTS make me laugh, but there's something about the magic of burritos that hit the mark

Game closed when I hit "Play Again", but other than that it ran fine
Sep 2 04:33:00 3h 41m QuickDraw - Java Very interesting gameplay - this would be great to see on a DS or similar. Noticed in the beginning that RMB and LMB are switched around - it says RMB is draw black, but it's draw white.

Pretty short, and after one playthrough with a bit of back-and-forth I got the hang of drawing the fireball and just wrecked house with it
Sep 2 15:44:00 11h 11m Save me from your dream A game about small underdog fish fighting sharks? You've got Good Taste, my friend.

Ran into some hit detection issues in the level where you get 3 batteries off the hop, and the fact that enemies don't move make it more akin to a puzzle game, but for a first timer I'd say this came together pretty well!
Sep 6 01:03:00 81h 19m Ain't Got Time For Lootin' There are a few good ideas at play here but it's lacking a lot in polish. There was a great joke at the end that made me smile, though!
Sep 6 01:20:00 17m 00s Sleep Consultant Surprisingly fun game! After getting a hang of the mechanics I absolutely crushed all who opposed, though. It ended sooner than I wanted it to.

Who's up for 28 ATK, 17 Heal, and 48 uses?
