Apr 30 06:24:00 You Don't Belong Here I got lucky with some blue blocks the first time, and then the difficulty really ramped when I started with some red blocks the second time. I totally love the blue blocks, their sound and square particles are awesome. But the red ones have a lot of character :)
Apr 30 06:27:00 3m 00s Battery Oh man I love this. I got really excited when the LCD started going dim as the battery died. It got hard fast, but that's a good thing for me; skip right to the good stuff. Great job!
Apr 30 06:33:00 6m 00s Velocibox I love the arcade feel of this game. The types of obstacles are entertaining, and loved riding up on the walls. Nice work.
Apr 30 06:38:00 5m 00s Cpt. Sqrjaw I loved piling the blocky remains of my enemies to climb the wall to the next section. Definitely fun :)
Apr 30 06:44:00 6m 00s Potato Dungeon At first I thought the potatoes took too many hits, but then I realized I just wasn't swinging fast enough :) The graphics are excellent, music is good and the design seems implemented well.
Apr 30 06:58:00 14m 00s Minimalist Horror Story I was wondering where the sound was, and then I started hearing some creepy noises. I thought they were coming from within my house for a moment. Definitely the creepy effect you were going for :)
Apr 30 07:01:00 3m 00s PLOG Oh man that smiley face / power outlet ended me. I don't know why that was so much harder than the rest, possibly because it had interior portions to the shape. Nice idea!
Apr 30 07:05:00 4m 00s Last Shot I have no idea what I was doing wrong but I couldn't figure out when I needed to shoot after charging. I just kept crashing and burning. Nice art design!
Apr 30 07:17:00 12m 00s Bladeless I couldn't get any sense of the timing so this ended up just being the prettiest version of rock-paper-scissors I've ever played, and I don't mind! The art is fantastic :)
Apr 30 07:56:00 39m 00s TOOM Holy crap those graphics. I know you said downvote the audio but I'm glad you used it; it really makes the mood and feel of the game. I had some significant difficulty trying to figure out what to do next, but the art and scenery was just so interesting I was having a great time just hanging out and walking around. Way to go!
Apr 30 08:02:00 6m 00s Stem Graphic style is enjoyable, the audio is simple but great to listen to, the gameplay is fun. Very nice entry! Great job.
May 3 06:02:00 70h 00m Colour Runner Extremely unforgiving! A fine match for the theme :)
May 3 06:13:00 11m 00s The Unseen The art is fantastic! I am sad to say I had a lot of trouble figuring out exactly why I was dying; so perhaps some feedback from the body that killed me would be good. I also think the pulse should have been free; it was frustrating being stuck somewhere with no visible solution. The mood and tone were excellent, and definitely built an environment I wanted to explore. Very cool!
May 3 06:19:00 6m 00s Stomp Space The audio made this extra fun :) I liked the literal use of "minimal" with the shrink ray. Even though you used someone else's character, I liked that it put me in a specific frame of mind. I agree with the gameplay issues about being stuck; perhaps a respawn button that only sets you back a few units in the world?
May 3 06:45:00 26m 00s At Least I'm Alive Saving the kids is the best ending :) I love the amount of depth created with the floating text, the reverberating music and the pixelated forest layers. I just wish the jump key wasn't W :)
May 3 06:51:00 6m 00s Hito I really enjoyed this one. The graphics and animation were very cute, the music was great, and I really liked the zen-like mechanic; meticulously running over every block. And challenging. Very nice game!
May 3 06:57:00 6m 00s Ten Space The timing is brutal! It took me a while to figure out i really wanted to press the arrows when the shapes hit the edge of the outer box, not when they're inside. The graphic design is very nice and it looks like it would work well on a phone. Definitely enjoyable!
May 3 07:06:00 9m 00s One fine morning our machines are gonna cut us down Definitely tough! It was hard to match which planet corresponded to which ship after they left. I also had trouble getting my fighters to go after the opposing battleships. The game concept feels solid and I can imagine the scale increasing to add to the fun!
May 3 07:14:00 8m 00s PRISMA Here's a innovative idea that was really taken to a successful level. Audio, visuals, mood, innovation and theme are all great. Excellent work!
May 3 07:18:00 4m 00s Tri-Forever I really enjoyed this one! The graphic design and theme are spot on, and I love the originality. I think the game mechanic really works. I like simple color palette and that combined with the audio remind me of an Atari :)
May 3 07:21:00 3m 00s Black Square The graphics are fantastic, the music is nice and I love the gameboy style display. Very nice!
May 3 07:25:00 4m 00s RGBA Just amazing what people can get done in 3 days. The animations are wonderful and silly, environment is nice the gameplay is simple yet fun. Graphics are really a knock out of the park. Way to go!
May 3 07:29:00 4m 00s Fragments of Him The audio and mood are incredible. I really appreciated the voice acting. The assets and world construction definitely get the point across. This is definitely my type of game.
May 3 07:32:00 3m 00s JuggleSim Very cool :) Very smooth gameplay and presentation. A little background music will go a long way later. I wish the balls were a little faster; perhaps they get sped up later into the game?
May 3 07:36:00 4m 00s Dieter Rams Memory I came here for the pixel art. I love the visual style. I had trouble getting past a handful of different sound patterns.
May 4 23:26:00 39h 50m Amulet Of Zarygar I was able to get it to run, Win7 64 bit Java v7 update 21. The only part that looks different than the screenshots is the text background is not transparent.
May 4 23:30:00 4m 00s WORDHUNTER I like the idea. I wasn't sure how to "complete" a word. Perhaps if there was a specific word the player was asked to spell and a time limit to spell it?
May 4 23:38:00 8m 00s This Place The puzzeling was good. For some reason I had a lot of trouble with performance; it got me into a lot of trouble when one of my blocks got pushed just a little too far.
May 4 23:48:00 10m 00s P27 I like the music at the end of the game the most! The puzzles are simple but interesting.
May 4 23:56:00 8m 00s Euler, Inc. I really like the presentation. The noisy background of the title page and the story text and simple colors was really appealing. The gameplay was fun and quite challenging. The only other thing that would be nice for the LD entry would be some simple background humming or sound to give a little depth to the world.
May 5 00:02:00 6m 00s M I appreciate all the options, and the music really adds to the mood of the game.
May 5 00:10:00 8m 00s Rollin' it Having R for restart was really important! The gameplay is quite fun, but extremely difficult. A UI would be nice to explain how many "coins" kills you. It would be cool if jumping makes you bounce off of the normal of whatever wall you were on, instead of just jumping "up"
May 5 00:20:00 10m 00s M-G Cool idea! I didn't realize at first that placing the gravity object closer to the flying dot would cause it to move faster. I wish I could see more score when I died!
May 5 00:24:00 4m 00s SQUARE The art was great and the motion was smooth. The acceleration from running feels rather off where it's too slow at first and ramps too quickly. I also got caught on the edges of boxes a lot. The gameplay idea is simple but good!
May 5 00:30:00 6m 00s Go To Work (a Point and Click game) The game seems well implemented! I like the drawings and the writing. The most difficult part is the controls. I'm not sure why you chose the < and > keys instead of the arrow keys. I didn't seem to find any sound?
May 5 00:42:00 12m 00s Total Viking Power The animation is great! The spelling in the game is just ok :) It was difficult to figure out exactly where the hitboxes for the weapons were. The voice acting was adorable.
May 5 00:45:00 3m 00s North Korea World Savior I also don't have an android device but would love to see this being played. Maybe you could upload a video to youtube?
May 5 00:49:00 4m 00s Spaceship builder Well implemented! Very confusing at the beginning, I could really use a hands-on tutorial (maybe not possible in the time limit). But I liked the idea, good job!
May 5 00:53:00 4m 00s Nothing is Impossible I really love the split screen where you have to watch both simultaneously. There's a lot of parallel world games where you shift from one to the other, but it's cool to work within both simultaneously. I swear there were some puzzle configurations that can't be beat :)
May 5 01:00:00 7m 00s Minimal I like this one a lot. Despite being minimal, the physics really gives it depth and a natural feel as well. I think the physics and mass controls work very well! It took me a second to figure out how to start, but I loved the title screen :)
May 5 01:04:00 4m 00s curves Very nice! The particle system and noises add something very cute to the game. The challenge curve is very good, and I'm a sucker for this type of motion.
May 5 01:07:00 3m 00s ERASERLAND The graphics and animation are really top notch! I'm impressed. The gameplay is very cute, definitely that wario-ware vibe. Nice showing!
May 5 20:12:00 19h 05m Critical Mess Great job! I think the most enjoyable puzzle game I've played so far this LD.
May 5 20:25:00 13m 00s Bliss Wings Very cute! I had trouble knowing exactly where the bounding boxes were based on the size/shape of the sprites. I liked how challenging it was; i like that you could get stuck and have to try the level over, as long as the levels aren't too long.
May 5 20:33:00 8m 00s MULTIVAC The music is fantastic, one of the best mood-setters I've played so far. I think I have similar issues with the controls as other commenters.
May 5 20:37:00 4m 00s Snape Nice concept! I like how action based it is. Definitely would be a great multiplayer couch-action game.
May 5 20:46:00 9m 00s Free* I'm glad you described why you went with this for the theme. I love the story telling. The art is simple and endearing. Some simple audio might go a long way. Great job with the feels!
May 5 20:55:00 9m 00s P-MNMSAOD I ended up button mashing to the max. Excellent graphics!
May 5 20:59:00 4m 00s Pixel Storm Had trouble trying to figure out what to do about the traps. Otherwise, the lime green on black simple Atari graphics were working for me!
May 5 21:10:00 11m 00s Buried Nice! There's a decent amount of polish on this one. It feels "complete" with the graphics, audio, and gameplay. I wasn't able to kill the God, I wonder if you can?
May 9 01:04:00 75h 54m 1BtnBounce I really like how interesting the gameplay can be with the simplicity of just one button. I appreciate the co-op option! I think the hardest part was location awareness; since I kept flying off screen I kept losing exactly where I was.
May 9 01:10:00 6m 00s Onion Harvester I like the bounce animation. The linear acceleration feels off, but the double jump feels pretty fun. I like that the jumping velocity is still applied even if he hits the ceiling.
May 9 04:32:00 3h 22m The Void Holy crap this was great. Playing it I thought it was a jam entry and just now realized it's just 48 hours! I haven't played a game that made me so anxious in a long time. It was surprisingly challenging. Funny enough when I was going to give up the first time, you gave me an achievement for getting that far, and it encouraged me to keep going. Excellent job.
May 9 04:37:00 5m 00s Pato Loco I think the first platformer I played this LD that had good controls! The audio was eerie but pretty jarring.
May 9 04:41:00 4m 00s Baron von Tater: Attack of the Taters! The character animation was hilarious. The gameplay was extremely tough; I never found a good occasion to use the laser.
May 9 05:24:00 43m 00s Chez Angelo I'm amazed at what a great environment and setting you could make in the time. I really liked the feel of the game, and lots of interesting content!
May 9 05:29:00 5m 00s DeaN The graphics are outstanding. The motivation that you kill people by touching them, but you don't want to is very cute, and coupled with the art style starts to tell a nice story. Great job!
May 9 05:34:00 5m 00s Cube Colors I love the color puzzling! Very nice concept, a pleasant surprise; I expected something else from the screenshot.
May 10 07:22:00 25h 48m _M_ The design, ambience and music were all great. I really wanted to understand the puzzles, but I just didn't know what was going on!
