Apr 23 14:19:00 Tiny Monk An excellent game! I really like this one :)
Apr 23 14:28:00 9m 00s TinyColony Waiting for a Windows or Linux build.
Apr 23 16:03:00 1h 35m $ales It makes me wanna play Ports of Call, again. That's a good thing.
Apr 23 16:20:00 17m 00s Who stole my pixels?!? This is pretty good, but also pretty hard.

It wasn't very intuitive, which I would consider its weakness.

Overall; A pretty good job. An innovative take on the tower defense genre.
Apr 23 16:31:00 11m 00s aidas Some places, a bit too unforgiving perhaps - other than that; quite neat. There is a lot of potential for good puzzles here.
Apr 23 16:47:00 16m 00s Rat Conquest I like this. Given some tweaks and balancing as far as speed goes, both for your character and your enemies - can make this game quite fun.
Apr 23 17:00:00 13m 00s Nineties Holywood Hacker Conceptually, quite cool. I wish it didn't care if a tile did fit with adjent tiles or not, as in Pipes and similar games. Giving me access to the map in game would also be cool for deciding directions :)
Apr 23 17:19:00 19m 00s Tiny World Corporation Which version of Löve have you tested with? Mine throws exceptions on me.
Apr 23 19:48:00 2h 29m Arnold Bros (est. 1905) This was quite good. Only complaint I have, is that the window was a bit small.

You should make more levels for this :)
Apr 23 19:58:00 10m 00s The Wizard Delven Some people add links for all platforms, Mac OS X / Linux, and just point it to the same file.

About the game; It's a bit difficult to rate in its current form, and you're probably aware of that. Just don't give up.
Apr 23 21:14:00 1h 16m Homedefender How do I run it?

$ java -jar homedefender-linux.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: me/hopps/Starter : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:634)
at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:142)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(URLClassLoader.java:277)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$000(URLClassLoader.java:73)
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:212)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:205)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:321)
at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:294)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:266)
Could not find the main class: me.hopps.Starter. Program will exit.
Apr 23 21:26:00 12m 00s A Tiny New World Make it possible with multiple projectiles at the same time, add a couple of additional enemy types and a boss --- and you got yourself a quite fun game.

There is potential in this, and it can become quite fun if you put a little extra work in it :)

(Also ran it on linux, java -jar tiny.jar worked fine with oracle jvm)
Apr 23 22:22:00 56m 00s NanoQuest Works fine in Linux, just start with:

# java -jar NanoQuest.jar

About the game;

Very nice graphics. Sometimes enemies appear too far to the side for me to be able to hit them - and there could have been better feedback as tcstyle already pointed out.

Definitely potential in this.
Apr 23 22:23:00 1m 00s Large Hadron Collider: Ludum Dare Edition The exefile is 64 bit only, it seems?
Apr 23 22:35:00 12m 00s Pale Blue Dot The DNS-entry for the webserver I'm downloading this from is wrong;

s3.staticvoidgames.com is an alias for http://s3.staticvoidgames.com.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com.

It shouldn't have http:// in it. That's probably why webstart / applet loading fails. Downloading directly from AWS works.

Adding the following line in my hosts-file:

207.171.163.193 s3.staticvoidgames.com

Fixes a lot of problems with that website in chrome. This probably affects other people too - you should check that out.

The game:

A nice prototype - would be nice if the camera could show a bit more of the surroundings as well.
Apr 23 22:45:00 10m 00s Minikin I like this a lot :)
Apr 23 22:55:00 10m 00s Giant Wizards from the Outer Rim! There's a lot of potential in this game - I hope you keep on pressing with those plans you mentioned.

The game eventually crashed for me, here's the Traceback;

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 76, in <module>
File "wizards/build/pyi.linux2/wizards/outPYZ1.pyz/game_window", line 462, in Update
File "wizards/build/pyi.linux2/wizards/outPYZ1.pyz/game_window", line 329, in Update
File "wizards/build/pyi.linux2/wizards/outPYZ1.pyz/game_window", line 186, in NextPlayer
File "wizards/build/pyi.linux2/wizards/outPYZ1.pyz/wizard", line 202, in Select
File "wizards/build/pyi.linux2/wizards/outPYZ1.pyz/texture", line 281, in Enable
NameError: global name 'Hover' is not defined
Apr 23 23:03:00 8m 00s Interstellar Planet-Ship Adventures: The Search for... $@#% Aliens!!!!!! I really like the graphics, but the rest is hard to comment on - I don't know what I'm doing.
Apr 23 23:08:00 5m 00s UpVote Technical:

It has a big problem with input --- I checked the source code. You can't have two SDL_PollEvent loops -- when you do PollEvent, it discards the event. Merge it into a single loop, and things will work smoothly.

The game:

I managed to both lose and win - could be an interesting turn based online game - switch the graphics to something a bit more intimidating and you'd be ready. :)
Apr 23 23:29:00 21m 00s Tiny Island Adventure A very pretty, complete, fun game. Wouldn't be surprised to find this with a overall and/or graphics medal.
Apr 26 21:42:00 70h 13m Astro Break This was excellent.
Apr 27 22:29:00 24h 47m Don't Leave our Home! I fixed the crashbugs and made a Windows-version and put it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1287557/dontleave.zip

I have not modified anything about the gameplay itself.

I've chosen to rate the entry in that state, so he can at least get some feedback on it.

Feedback;

This game is freaking hard, still has quite a few bugs - but I believe you've gotten a fair amount of practice out of it anyway. Keep coding!
Apr 28 00:16:00 1h 47m Bottled Worlds It's a very charming little game, but it's a little hard for me. I wasn't able to pass level two :P

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I feel the trailer showed off more attacks than I was able to do in the game - and I couldn't hear the sound effects that are in the trailer either.
Apr 28 22:52:00 22h 36m The Two of Us Made an attempt to run this in Linux, to no avail;

tv@apu:~/ld48/the-two-of-us$ ruby bin/main.rb
bin/main.rb:1:in `require': no such file to load -- gosu (LoadError)
from bin/main.rb:1
tv@apu:~/ld48/the-two-of-us$ sudo bundle install
Using rake (0.9.2.2)
Using chipmunk (5.3.4.5)
Using cri (2.1.0)
Using libxml-ruby (2.3.2)
Using faster_xml_simple (0.5.0)
Using gosu (0.7.41)
Using httpclient (2.2.4)
Using json (1.6.6)
Using nokogiri (1.5.2)
Using net-github-upload (0.0.8)
Using ocra (1.3.0)
Using thor (0.14.6)
Using releasy (0.2.2)
Using bundler (1.1.3)
Your bundle is complete! Apr 28 23:05:00 13m 00s Primordial Smackdown: Bacteria with Badditude Was unable to run in Mono - would be cool with a Mono-port.
Apr 28 23:16:00 11m 00s Craemle Zone Got stuck on "Level 2" - I got 16 coins but found no way to get past the toll - or enter the closed door.

A bit trippy for my taste, but definitely pretty.
Apr 28 23:50:00 34m 00s Forever Alone I didn't figure out how to start this.

The jnlp-file was downloaded by my browser. I attempted to open it with javaws (web start, often works) - it complains about parsing the file.
Apr 29 00:22:00 32m 00s 3rd Planet Tried to run with Mono 2.8 on Linux, didn't work.
Apr 29 00:53:00 31m 00s The Cube Realms same error as edg3 --- I'm on Linux though.
Apr 29 00:56:00 3m 00s A Minecraftesque Adventure a` la Rogue Good start, you should finish it.
Apr 29 01:12:00 16m 00s Tiny World Racer Linux user here, so I can't play it.

It seems to use functions that are unimplemented in wine;

wine: Unimplemented function msvcp100.dll.?_Orphan_all@_Container_base0@std@@QAEXXZ called at address 0x7edf6cf2 (thread 0009), starting debugger...
Apr 29 01:22:00 10m 00s Polarity Stuck at Infinite Potential Well.

Very good game, with a very solid game mechanic. I'm usually not that entertained by the really simple games - but this hit the nail on its head.
Apr 29 01:29:00 7m 00s Tiny Pig Run I don't think the game works as it should in Linux, though - all I see is a player. And it took ~1 second before it said "Dead, you scored 100 points".

Going to leave the rating empty, since I can't see any other graphics than the player itself - I consider it a game breaking bug.
May 1 12:41:00 59h 12m Fracuum This was excellent. There's not much more to say, really.
May 1 13:16:00 35m 00s Fish Tank Commander I got the message: "We're sorry, but something went wrong." when attempting to log in.
May 1 15:10:00 1h 54m Planet 161 Very nice graphics
Very good puzzles
Nice loops

This whole thing feels very polished to me.
May 4 23:05:00 79h 55m Greed Wars This was incredible.
May 5 22:33:00 23h 28m Super Strict Farmer A very good entry. A bit too hard for me, but other than that; Very good.
May 11 21:17:00 142h 44m Oh No, Tiny Rover! My favorite part is when ludumdare_WIN.zip contains two directories: ludumdare_MAC and __MACOSX

:)
May 11 21:29:00 12m 00s Alice and Bob's tiny cubic planet This was pretty awesome. I really like the core idea of this game - especially when I understood that walking off in certain directions would turn me around 90 degrees. That was a very nice niche.

The audio was a bit unpleasant, so I turned the volume far down.
May 11 21:34:00 5m 00s Around the World in 80 Seconds (or less) Was neat, the window was a bit tiny though - may be related to me having a multimonitor setup in Linux. Twinview always suck if you attempt to go in fullscreen.
May 11 21:53:00 19m 00s Tiny Invasion Yeah, like the others; Keep practicing - if you want to make games, you'll make games. You just have to work to get there.
May 11 21:58:00 5m 00s Ant Quest! The controls are a bit difficult to master due to the way you get stuck at walls --- but the game has some very neat concepts.

It's a bit hard.
May 11 22:10:00 12m 00s Rally Mites It's a good start, you should finish it up!
May 11 22:34:00 24m 00s Micro World Neat, but I'm a bit confused if the walls had a purpose - or if it's one of those unfinished features that you hoped to implement but didn't quite make.

Other than that; Pretty solid. Fun, neat.
May 11 22:46:00 12m 00s I Painted a Tiny World Works in Linux if I remove pygame._view from the import list.
May 11 23:03:00 17m 00s The Revenge of Grodzilla Respect!
May 11 23:14:00 11m 00s Legends of Babanok There's a lot of potential in this - I think you should work more with it, finish it up / polish it.
May 12 14:08:00 14h 54m Housefly This was excellent! I really like this one.
May 12 14:26:00 18m 00s Recluse I beat it, didn't find all the collectibles though.

Really good entry! I love the core mechanic - it was a bit surprising at first :)
May 13 01:08:00 10h 42m BEEFWAR What did I just play
