You Killed Someone by RetroSpecter 2021-04-26T21:17:06Z

Cool game idea. Nearly got away with the murder. Liked those "strange references" in those characters and that text "click" sound.

Susane the Sub by BoltKey 2021-05-09T19:27:27Z

Hey yo. Great game you got there. ;) Funnily I've made something kinda similar to the concept of yours but not as expanded as yours. :D The squiggily graphics kinda gives it an oldschool charme. :P Great work. :)

Deeper deep ocean by Aret24 2021-05-09T10:15:05Z

Hey ho. Nice work with the game. Pretty neat idea with the submarine with the guns. Some things as feedback for the game would be that the web build does kinda not correctly scale up, since some elements seem to be cropped. And I'd add at least some shooting sounds/effects to it. It would make it a bit cooler. ;)

But nice game. Nice work.

Super Mole Racing by Mastoast 2021-05-09T10:32:19Z

Hey yo. Amazing work with this game. I absolutely loved every bit of it. :) The music was great. The physics were cool and the concept of a racing game with this topic. I'd say this is even a gem. :) (Would definitely play a post-jam version or even this one afterwards) So thumbs up for that one.

The only thing that I'd criticized are the controls. While I find the way they work generally good I don't like the button layout. I think that you worked on this with a keyboard with the qwerty layout... And I imagine this would be neat with the dashes since the "z" and "x" keys are directly next to another. But in other layouts those keys are not really next to another. I use the German qwertz-layout for example and in there the "z" and "y" keys are switched. So the left dash is more right on the keyboard than the right dash key.

So I'd appreciate a button remapping option or alternative button layouts for that problem. But that's the only thing that I'd criticize.

Absolutely fantastic work with that one. :)

Super Mole Racing by Mastoast 2021-05-10T18:51:21Z

@mastoast Thanks a lot for your reply. Interesting insight. Never really played a lot of PICO-8 games. So that's a new one. And ahhh... Overread that alternative control scheme with "c" and "v". For me that would be a lot better since those keys are directly next to another in my layout. Don't know for other ones though. But yeah... That's nothing you got a lot of control so I understand it. Thanks again for the tip. Will keep that one in mind.

DrillTillDeep by Abiral 2021-04-27T07:39:03Z

Cool game. :) I'm agreeing with the other comment considering the upgrade system... There doesn't seem to be an incentive to collect those crystals. Either that or I missed it. But cool game. Great work.

The Fall of Squidy by ealhche 2021-05-06T17:22:37Z

Good job with the game. Really cool idea with the control scheme. It makes for an interesting game mechanic.

Treasure Dive by Wuppos 2021-04-27T11:50:47Z

Cool game well done. Really liked those graphics and the sound effects. The only things that I'd mention is that a lot of those jumps are reaaaally hard to do. So I'd pump the difficulty curve a bit down and make them less tight. And also you could "cheese" a bit more oxygen by repeatly pressing the oxygen button instead of holding it. Don't know if it is intentional or not. Just manted to mention is.

Cool game

Guy Fall by IcarusDev 2021-04-27T07:24:07Z

Hey yo. Neat game. :) As feedback... I would have made the gameplay elements a little bit bigger though (like the player and the spikes) because it is quite hard to see everything on smaller screens. But well done.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-04-27T11:37:19Z

Hi @wuppos. Cool to hear. :P Maybe I should try it out myself. Thanks a lot for the feedback. The part with the Windows Build is a straight case of... "But it works on my machine". I'll try to fix that one later. About your coin issue. I think I may have not disclosed this enough but the point is that if your oxygen runs out you basically "die" and lose your coins. To not lose your coins you just have to return to the surface with some oxygen left  Then you can gradually build up your coins to get some upgrades and get deeper to the ocean floor. Just like in this gif on the game post. But thanks for the feedback. That should've been more clear on my part. Maybe you can now give it a try again.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-04-28T10:11:27Z

@binaya Thanks for your feedback. The upgrades really help with that. :P

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-04-28T10:12:43Z

@prerak Thank you. Yeah... Audio was one of the last things I cared for and went really "minimalistic" with it... (and I'm not that great with that haha) so thanks for that thought.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-03T09:31:42Z

Hi @darthone Thanks for the feedback. Hmmm.... Interesting about the speaker but on the oxygen thing. I definately agree with you all. :D If I were to publish this game somewhere else I'd take some time to polish especially the progression and that kind of stuff.... I also felt like this was kinda a problem.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-03T09:32:15Z

@panagiotis-iatrou Thanks for your feedback. :) I'm currently thinking about it haha. :D

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-03T09:42:11Z

Hey @wuppos

Thank you that you took your time to play the game again. :) Really appreciate it, so thank you. Ah okay. I have to agree that if you don't think about it the coin mechanic and other mechanics are kinda counterintuitive... So yeah... That's definately a thing... Neat that you liked the asthetics. Glad to hear. :)

And it's okay. Not every type of game is for everybody and this isn't an exception. I also felt a bit like it for other games I've played from other people that they aren't my style. But thank you still for your opinion.:) Cool idea btw with the scary sound effect.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-06T18:06:21Z

@shimonster Thanks a lot for the feedback. :) Yeah... Will work on that oxygen thingy on another day if I'm releasing it in the future since a lot of other people mentioned that too.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-09T18:44:18Z

@neowedge Thanks four the feedback. :) Glad you liked the concept. The "balancing" with the aspect you mentioned definitely needs some work though. :) Thanks for playing. :)

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-10T19:03:56Z

@shp Thanks for playing. Can definitely see that point of view on the game. Thanks for the feedback.

Treasure Diver by RocketNinjaGames 2021-05-10T19:10:44Z

@m-trigo Thank you for the feedback. Glad you liked it. :) I can see the point you made with the deterministic part. And I agree with that... Currently thinking about how I could make it a bit better...

Deeper and Deeper by Nela Flosova 2021-05-06T17:26:54Z

Simple game. Simple mechanic. But well executed. Like the art-style of the game especially. The level transitions came a bit unexpected since I kinda expected it do be more or less an infinite downfall... But that's not really a bad thing. :)
