Your game and my game have very similar names, so when I saw your game come by I knew I wanted to play it! :P Unfortunately I cannot get past the first few coins, maybe I misunderstand something? When I click on the screen the submarine goes down, but after the second coin my oxygen runs out and I die. I never have enough money to buy oxygen upgrades. Perhaps you forgot to add a "delta time" variable in your oxygen meter? (In other words, the speed at which your oxygen runs out might depend on the fps I am running at.) Another hint, I tried downloading the windows version to see if that would help, but this one would not run at all. Remember to not only add the .exe file, but also all other files it needs. (The ones that are created when you build the game.) I might also just not understand what to do. In which case, please let me know so I can try again! :D
Hi @wuppos. Cool to hear. :P Maybe I should try it out myself. Thanks a lot for the feedback. The part with the Windows Build is a straight case of... "But it works on my machine". I'll try to fix that one later. About your coin issue. I think I may have not disclosed this enough but the point is that if your oxygen runs out you basically "die" and lose your coins. To not lose your coins you just have to return to the surface with some oxygen left  Then you can gradually build up your coins to get some upgrades and get deeper to the ocean floor. Just like in this gif on the game post. But thanks for the feedback. That should've been more clear on my part. Maybe you can now give it a try again.
fun game but oxyzen runs too fast ðŸ˜.
@binaya Thanks for your feedback. The upgrades really help with that. :P
@prerak Thank you. Yeah... Audio was one of the last things I cared for and went really "minimalistic" with it... (and I'm not that great with that haha) so thanks for that thought.
I like the concept! Not sure if anyone else had an issue with the audio only coming out of the left speaker. I think the oxygen level indicator could be brighter, it was difficult to tell how much was actually left at a glance. I think you could hook the player in faster by having slightly faster progression at the beginning. The first few upgrades felt slow and only let me get one coin deeper. I also loved the simplicity of the controls which is something I've struggled with myself, so good on that!
Thats a really nice concept for a game but it felt a bit too repetitive. I am sure it can turn into a great time killer for android with a little more time
I gave it a second try after your tips, and now I understand the game ^_^ I think the biggest thing I did not understand is that the coins respawn once you go back to the surface. This felt a bit unintuitive to me.
I really liked the aesthetic of the game. The little submarine is cute, and the coins really work with the style. I also did not experience the problems with sound effects others did, maybe because I was not wearing headphones? Some music would have helped as well, as I am sure your know :p
Unfortunately I think this is not really my type of game. I lack a sense of challenge I think. It is very repetitve, which in itself is not a big issue, but here I did not really enjoy the thing I had to do. Whenever I made a mistake it did not feel like I learned something that I can improve next time, but just that I have to do everything all over again. This is just my preference of games though! The game felt very polished and smooth to play, so it was by no means a bad game! This is just my opinion. :)
One point of feedback that might actually be useful is that it was very hard to see how much oxygen I had left. A more bright bar might have been more visible, or maybe some scary sound effects once you started to run low?
Very nicely made in 48 hours! Good job! :D
Hi @darthone Thanks for the feedback. Hmmm.... Interesting about the speaker but on the oxygen thing. I definately agree with you all. :D If I were to publish this game somewhere else I'd take some time to polish especially the progression and that kind of stuff.... I also felt like this was kinda a problem.
@panagiotis-iatrou Thanks for your feedback. :) I'm currently thinking about it haha. :D
Hey @wuppos
Thank you that you took your time to play the game again. :) Really appreciate it, so thank you. Ah okay. I have to agree that if you don't think about it the coin mechanic and other mechanics are kinda counterintuitive... So yeah... That's definately a thing... Neat that you liked the asthetics. Glad to hear. :)
And it's okay. Not every type of game is for everybody and this isn't an exception. I also felt a bit like it for other games I've played from other people that they aren't my style. But thank you still for your opinion.:) Cool idea btw with the scary sound effect.
The game was very simple and it was hard to see the amount of oxygen you have left. The art was cool though.
@shimonster Thanks a lot for the feedback. :) Yeah... Will work on that oxygen thingy on another day if I'm releasing it in the future since a lot of other people mentioned that too.
I love the concept! It's a kind of idle game (but not idle xD). Maybe it need to be faster, because at he beggining is a little repetitive. Good job!!!
@neowedge Thanks four the feedback. :) Glad you liked the concept. The "balancing" with the aspect you mentioned definitely needs some work though. :) Thanks for playing. :)
it's a bit too simple to be fun to play, with a bit more variety going up and down time after time might not be so tedious
Good job on the art and polish.
Like others have said, the gameplay needs some degree of choice. As it stands, it's fully deterministic and what you should do at each moment becomes a calculation instead of choice.
But it's a game you've made from scratch in 48 hours and you should feel very proud!
@shp Thanks for playing. Can definitely see that point of view on the game. Thanks for the feedback.
@m-trigo Thank you for the feedback. Glad you liked it. :) I can see the point you made with the deterministic part. And I agree with that... Currently thinking about how I could make it a bit better...
Liked graphics and relevance to the theme. But gameplay is linear and not challenging at all. The only reason that made me go it to the end was to make sure there was an end (and i'm not missing some more depth in gameplay).
