Minigun Miner by drludos 2021-05-15T16:38:13Z
You know, hard controls and that, but it is good and fun! It may be repetitive (didn't dig a lot though) and web version is a little slow, that makes controls even harder, but the idea is great.

I like this game. The only cons I found is that it's short (me wants more!) and that the theme seems _by the skin of his teeth_ (Not sure if it's correct, I'm not English. Claims to Word Reference).
I liked it a lot. You should continue with it and add more levels and enemies, and sound and such.
I have mixed thoughts about this game.
One side, the game is great: great graphics and animations, great sound, great story, great gameplay...
On the other side, it is not for me. Or maybe it starts to high for me. I barely passed the first feet, I wasn't able to advance in the second one. It is too hard for me.
But it is a great game, for sure. People will enjoy it.
Oh, and it works on Linux + Wine without any problem.
What a good game! It is fun, it is beautiful, it is easy, it is hard, it is simple... It is great!
Well, it can be a bit repetitive if you play for hours, and at first it is hard to see what part of the ground would crush you, but it is a good arcade ideal to occasionally waste some minutes digging. It would exist as a coin up and I would spend some coins on it.
Thanks for the review.
Level 2 is not complete, I hadn't time. I hadn't time to add music either. :(
And yes, I'll continue this project so stay tuned to my itch.io and/or Twitter pages (read the README). :)
@cyzaine: Yes, solo work. I'll work on it and finish with the ideas I had.
@dom-de-re: Elevator Action is great. I like it too. I planed to add elevators but hadn't time. :(
@audiobusting: They're from good old SpriteLib. For the definitive version I'll redo the graphics, but maybe I keep that big-jaw in the design...
Thanks @mrpouletbzh. Right now I'm busy with job but I'll try to work on it ASAP.
@kovi: Thanks. I love the peek out of the vents too. I think the game will follow that groovy theme.
Thanks @tulkas. I'll try to finish it once I finish other job. I'll try to announce it in Twitter, Itch and here. :)
Great little game. I think Amelia, Healty Elf, is a great character. I wish the game is longer so I'll follow your itch.io account if you'll make it ;-).
I agree with previous comment saying the mouse control is superfluous: just a button to dig in the facing direction is enough.
[edit] I forgot to say: Windows version works on Linux + Wine!
I agree with a lot of previous comments: Fast-n-fun, the _false globe_ perspective, re-playable, good graphics, repetitive music...
I liked it.
I think I won? I mean, I was mining then suddenly a status page appeared showing how much I mined (a couple of hundreds) and shows me a button to "Quit". It was a little confusing.
Graphics are good, I feel the oppressive mood of the game. I don't like the controls a lot, but I really don't like 2D games that uses keyboard to move and mouse to aim, it's confusing for me. FPS on the other hand...
Anyway, the game is good.
What a beautiful and fun game. I think it can be extended with a few more levels, puzzles and may be mechanics.
Good job.
