Can't seem to figure out how to get past the second jump.
@smilewood Thank you! The game was much more enjoyable upon being able to get past the second jump. I'd have appreciated seeing that in the menu but regardless, solid game!
Everything worked pretty well, I would have just liked to see a little bit more of interactivity somehow though. It feels a **tiny** bit bland, but still fun regardless. A very nice entry to the jam.
Wish there were more upgarades, and that holding a directional button would keep you moving instead of needing a tap for each move. Otherwise pretty neat little thing
Probably best entry out of the ones I've seen. Bit buggy in the further levels but still great
Wonderful game! The graphics, music, it fits this jam very well. Hats off best project I've seen so far
Very solid game, I liked the expansion of the mechanics upon death
.
The WebGL version should be up now on itch.io, didn't want to run if natively hosted on ldjam. Sorry about that.
@alanxoc3 The ramming and speed are intentional! I didn't have the time to add all the enemies I wanted, so I made a variation on the slower orcs that was way faster but easier to kill. That added a little bit of variety and also an actual chance to mess up and die if you're careless and/or didn't instantly figure out how you should play the game. If you just perma-shoot in a forward direction as well as move back when you see enemies, its still incredibly easy to beat it without taking any damage. Was it too hard or unintuitive as a new player, and you died a lot? Or what was your issue with it.
The itch.io version isn't browser. Please correct that :)
