I love the music and the premise is adorable. I would recommend looking at the controls. Having them reversed to the direction you're wanting the mama bird to travel results in more frustration than I think you want. I think the speed of the snake mechanic and interesting levels can provide the challenge over the frustration of hitting LEFT and then swinging to the RIGHT. I use Construct as well, and I'm assuming you're using the car behavior. I'd play with it a bit to match the orientation of the viewer versus the mama bird head. Going down first, flipped the expected controls.

I liked how tactile everything felt, and just the clicking of the icons was pleasant. I'm not sure the effect the bugs have on the sunflower so I might give the player more indication of that, but clicking on them is attractive. I died three times, but wasn't sure what I did wrong, so maybe give a set of bars or some visual indicator of my flood/sunshine. Super cute game, and fit the them perfectly! This is a great first game!

Really nice and solid work! I would love to hear the audio you plan on adding, since I imagine it will add a lot of life. The visuals and gameplay are polished, and it was fun to get better at it. Definitely with touch controls it could be a neat mobile game. Great job!

Some bugs here and there, but very fun! I liked the typing aspect, maybe have increasingly longer strings of word to make it more difficult. Audio was spot on and added tons of life. Only critique is to give the background some love (when there's actual time to do that, ha) and fix the bugs. Great game!

The mood and pacing were great. Hit a bug where the respawn pedestal was out of light, and I kept dying. But reloaded and played further. I like the presentation and the idea. Would definitely play a finished version, great overall!
