LD46 — Keep it alive (10)

The Drown by Simon Rahnasto 2020-04-22T19:56:52Z ♥ 4

Best game I've played so far. Despite it being so short I'm roped into the narrative you have going here. I want to know why that face is there and why that guy got evaporated. The music is very good at setting the tense mystical tone and the art is very complimentary to that as well. Only pointers i would give is that the weaponry doesn't feel too great it doesn't have that visual and audio feedback that makes a weapon satisfying nor do impacts feel to great as the enemies fade to dust quite quietly. other than that great work and would love to know if you make any continuation.

Nothing to Z Here by cakemonitor 2020-04-22T19:33:40Z ♥ 1

Awesome soundtrack and a great mechanic idea. The whole keep him alive whilst not letting him kill you is a Real interesting dynamic. Glad there is that intro to how mechanics work at the beginning bc it would be confusing otherwise. I feel like some of the officers view cones weren't quite accurate as I was getting away with a lot of risky maneuvers. But for a first game this is great keep it up!

Cool idea going on here, perfect for pyromaniacs. great style here too. it is a shame it wasn't finished enough to have some sort of progress tracking. hope you keep working on it!

With no restriction on whe you can refill or fix things you can just do it immediately after they use the thing. This kinda results in no challenge and a frantic looking panda. Nice music, and the idea of a more visually rich tamagotchi vibe is a good direction.

Cool idea. I reckon some visual feedback on when you throw wood into the fire and how much you are carrying would be helpful. Wolves seemed to just walk past me for quite some time and also they didn't seem to be repelled by the fire since they walked right through it.

Max Party - Party Planner To The Stars by blha303 2020-04-22T14:15:12Z ♥ 1

Good idea, Like the possible story behind it too. Could do with some sound effects and maybe a ramping up in intensity. Also my mouse would occasionally twitch to the edge of the screen that could just be me . Banging choons keep it up.

I enjoy the opportunity for tactics here add some replay ability. The art style is really cool though it can result in a few items being not very distinguishable. otherwise solid game would play again.

A great concept and it feels like so much is going on. I think I drank myself into early dev.

Here be some high pressure game play here. Lovely Models and Graphics. Few pointers: -Its sometimes hard to distinguish the distractions, for example I lost a few times bc i thought the distraction was the cat when it was in fact the door. Perhaps use a highlighting system?
