I couldn't get the cartridge in. The graphics are very colorful and bright—I like them. Also, there’s a cute cat paw in there.

This is great! Once I understood how to actually rewind it was one of the best experiences I had this LD so far. Great atmosphere, superb visuals (seriously, this looks like its weeks of work not a few days), and of course the cat for the humor stars. A bit stressful but thats the point.

5/5

WAIT THE ART IS SO CLEAN I LOVE IT! The BGM and all the lil' SFX were also very appreciated and definitely led to it feeling super clean. I also lost a few rounds to just poking around at all the different interactable items. Took me a few rounds to get the hang of things (I am dumb and did not read lmao), but once I got it down it was a nice balance of relaxing/cozy and time pressure between getting the tapes rewound. All the random distractions really helped make it feel like a "complete" game (or as complete as a jam game can be lol). Great job!

The visuals are very beautiful and really fit the theme; interestingly, we had a similar idea for our own game.

It reminded me of how, as a child, I used to rewind cassette tapes by sticking my finger into the spiky, rotating wheel.

Cool little game with great graphics and sound design! The gameplay is simple and easy to pick up, but it still requires some skill to avoid getting overwhelmed too quickly.

Really enjoyed the overall vibe the game was going for. A fun little experience!

Quite nice, even though I had issues trying to rewind, it wasn't properly working it seems. Or I just missed something. But overall much liked the mood :))

Very fun game ! The drag&drop elements works well event at fast peace (even if sometimes the casette merge with the rewinder, maybe it's intended), the random event are really fun (this cat....). Very good retro vibes and art love it. Good job !

Not sure if it works, i tried to put the tape into the rewinder but it refused to be inserted. How do i insert it? Looks interesting

Hard, but fun. Love the visuals!

The setup perfectly captures the environment of working in an old video rental store. The feeling of having to manage all those random tasks while keeping up with the time pressure is really well done.

Love the visuals, so much character!

ukulelefury 2026-10-24 03:43 ♥ 0

🤣 Really fun game! It's definitely not intuitive enough how to get the tapes out of the cases. But it was well worth sticking with it for a second attempt! Really great art and music! And very funny minigames/obstacles. The balance seemed actually a bit hard, but I still wanted to keep playing!

The game's cozy ambience is so good, dude! I think you should keep working in this direction because you did a great job with the graphics and music!

Thanks <3

(I couldn't see the complete box at first)

Behind its comfy art direction, a stressful game is hidden! It's such a cool jam entry. The music and audio match perfectly the game; the theme is well adapted and it is fun to play.

Great game which I'm bad at :( Capture d'écran 2026-10-24 191343.png

This looks amazing. Well done. :D

Good entry, with some nostalgia. Short fun. The holding style of cookie clicking. In one run i got stuck with power and plug being of and after i turned both on the rewind button would not work anymore, just fyi, some bug floating around there, no other issues.

nikiroz 2026-10-25 09:09 ♥ 0

Looks great! The gameplay feels a bit unusual, though.

overlix 2026-10-25 09:45 ♥ 0

Congratulations! The game is quite repetitive, yet it really makes you want to try hard—I managed to reach 21. I really like the visuals and the sound design; well done!

oller125 2026-10-25 11:37 ♥ 0

Love the visuals and the audio. The controls were a little clunky, though.

ottobroccoli 2026-10-25 12:07 ♥ 0

What a style! I love this kind of aesthetic! Great work!

neshtyak 2026-10-25 22:22 ♥ 1

Beautiful, simple, and cozy. An ideal combination for a game created on game jam. Nice work!

kseniacecalin 2026-10-27 13:12 ♥ 0

The atmosphere fits the genre perfectly.

antti-haavikko 2026-10-27 13:16 ♥ 0

Gets kinda repetitive and a bit annoying since you can't do anything after few cassettes. It just becomes way too much to handle so fast.

Näyttökuva 2026-10-27 150615.png

Took me several tries to actually get the rewind working. That's the play button which is confusing and I thought I tried that too but I guess the power had been switched off already at that point.

Quite a bit of unnecessary interactable things that just make playing harder. Like for example there is no real reason to move the rewind machine ever, and at least I constantly did that instead of hitting the small button. Not all that fun. I guess that was the point though. Due to this there are also some spots on the field where you can actually completely lock yourself because a cassette can't be interacted at all if placed there. Top left corner at least.

Managed to get a better score with few more tries though.

Näyttökuva 2026-10-27 151419.png

Looks and sounds awesome! But I would have just made it be a bit more fun to play too. It doesn't really encourage for repeated tries as it constantly fights against you. But good job though, really nice visuals and mood! 👍

ectucker1 2026-10-29 02:11 ♥ 2

Managed to get 8 finished! Love the retro aesthetic. I do think things started breaking down a little early; I hadn't even figured out how to use the controls by the time the rewinder was unplugged and the power was off. I enjoyed the more complex issues later, especially the bit when your boss starts talking was funny. Nice entry!
