The art and setting is SO well done. It has so much charm. And i love the living space. It's a cool concept but I had a hard time focusing with the voice going on that long. (And the mix is pretty loud)

The art, audio, and idea was amazing! My memory is horrible so I'm pretty bad at this game but it was fun, one thing is that maybe when the guy was diagonally against something (such as the sofa), the friction which causes the guy to walk more slowly could be eliminated? Just a thought, but amazing game overall!

cazik21 2026-04-29 14:58

The art and feel of playing is so good! It's a shame it's difficult to understand, and my terrible memory doesn't help, haha. Great job!

The concept of someone's tendencies being influenced by an outside source is both novel and terrifying lol. I had a hard time focusing due to the pacing of the game paired with the relaxing sound of the narrator's voice. Perhaps a visual list of objectives or a Simon Says style sequential preview to help guide the player would have helped keep players like me on track and engaged.

The game was intresting and very hard, my memory isnt very good, i loved how the voice was reactive to the things that were happening, it almost felt like the voice was in my head. I messed up every sequence :/ so i did not save the fish... nice game also im a bit sad after playing

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 19:11

@cesta don't feel bad about the fish, it was his destiny to disappear, so the voice can bring him back in the future!

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 19:13

@scrapmetal thanks for playing! It definitely gets harder and longer each level. I ran out of time to fine tune the difficulty.

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 19:15

@kvn thanks for playing! I like idea to alter the friction. Right now it's just using the Unity 2D physics.

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 19:17

@cazik21 thanks for playing! I ran out of time to polish the gameplay. The pace is kind of unrelenting and unbalanced.

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 19:22

@stuffmancer thanks for playing! I thought about a list of things to do. But ran out of time, and settled for not repeating the level if you fail. This was after I failed some of the levels, repeatedly.

This is such an incredible entry. I've never seen OCD portrayed so effectively in a game before. Mental illnesses are very difficult to do well in games and not get flanderised but this does it so masterfully. The voice acting is great and the art too. This might be my favourite entry of the jam so far. Great job!

P.S. Make sure to leave comments on other peoples games. That's the best way to get karma which will increase the chance of your game getting rated. It would be such a shame if it doesn't get rated in the end because it's such a unique entry.

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 21:02

@roitchie thanks for playing! Guy's story evolved, originally it was just a memory game, and he would explode if he got anything wrong. But myself and the voice realized that Guy deserved better.

Also I understand the karma system now. After playing and rating 10 games I figured it out.

Nice aesthetics, props for narrating. I didn't have the patience to complete the game after failing for few minutes :D From player perspective there could be a bit more room for error but I also understand that the theme of the game doesn't really allow it.

Well done!

ellaris 2026-05-03 09:59

Pretty cool and unique entry, I liked the voice commands, tho I felt it said I messed up more than I should, I don't know if I had to wait for the instructions to be finished or could do them as they were presented.

captain-awesome 2026-05-05 13:19

@coderaurus thanks for playing! The game could definitely use more difficulty balancing and fine tuning. I settled on "no fail", so you just get different narrations if you fail, but the story moves forward no matter what.

captain-awesome 2026-05-05 13:25

@ellaris thanks for playing! That's exactly what happened. You started interacting before it counted. I had to add this limit as a temporary bugfix for preventing the narrator going crazy.

alex-de-la-cour 2026-05-05 16:45

A very polished game! Great art, great voice acting, but I felt like a few times I definitely did things in the right order and was told it was wrong. I read (just in your comment above) that I had to wait until the voice was finished. This is pretty counterintuitive, us gamers aren't the most patient lot!

But still, a very strong entry.

joegreen 2026-05-05 19:54

Cool idea, and the visual style along with the sound is awesome! Super polished game. For me personally, it was a little tough to keep track of everything just by listening and remember all the commands 😅

captain-awesome 2026-05-05 20:35

@alex-de-la-cour thanks for playing! I had a strategy to defeat the voice on the longer levels, when he started talking I would start interacting before he finished. I thought I was so clever, but I guess everyone does that.

captain-awesome 2026-05-05 20:42

@joegreen thanks for playing! It's not just you, I struggled after 3 or 4 things.

I actually played your game yesterday but never left a comment, overall it was a fun puzzle game.

7uc4s 2026-05-05 20:43

I enjoyed this one so much, I think I got all of them wrong, but having the narrator say it out loud made me chuckle everytime  I almost felt like in stanley parable, doing the opposite I am supposed to x)

Anyway, the general ambiance is well mastered imho, the graphics are nice, audio, pretty damn good, I would just object on gameplay, because a few times I did the things while the voice was dictating the steps, and it felt like I was not supposed to do it that way  and ended up in situations where I had to turn off a light that was already off :(

Great entry, well done!

captain-awesome 2026-05-05 21:14

@7uc4s thanks for playing! I never did solve the design problem of having the narrators description match what's active in the scene. Except the fish. You can never win with the voice and keep the fish.

purrseus 2026-05-05 21:22

Super unique experience, amazing work and amazing voice acting, I was so incredibly invested! (even though I suck at OCD apparently)

You deserve your name!!
