Fun little time killer, always been a fan of this type of game. I like how the fog of war is implemented and the idea of having to keep track of where you came from so you don't risk losing out on your haul - though I thought the screen suddenly getting darker was a bug at first, haha.

Very fun! Reminds me a lot of the classic Motherload, the upgrades felt satisfying and really did help to ramp things up. The random generation was awesome to manage in the span of a jam, great work!

@cruise-elroy Thanks a lot for the feedback, that's great to hear :) The fog of war is really simple, black blurry tiles that disappear as you walk through, but I couldn't polish it more and have something more noticeable, the way it ended up feels like you can't really see much outside of the light and the fog doesn't exist inside of it so I'm glad you noticed it ^^

@radjax Thanks for your feedback :) I didn't take time to balance everything about the upgrades but it should be enough for a jam. The random generation started from a little code I already had that helped me design the world, generating a texture with noise colors, I just had to tweak the values to my needs :)

@ira-baciu Oops I forgot to make it public ! You should have access now !
It's a cute game ^^ the chracter sometimes goes black, is it supposed to be like this? Screenshot 2025-10-07 141350.png

@ira-baciu Well not really it might be the web build that doesn't handle lights well :/ I recommend playing the Windows build to avoid any bug (there is one when you can no longer enter the mine if you lose in the mine which isn't present in the Windows build) and also your progression is correctly saved on this build.

This has never happened before, and here it is again. Let's all collect the stones)
Quite fun! I managed to max my stats and tried to find the edge of the mine... to no avail. Great job on the infinite terrain generation and fun little gameplay loop

@winter2277 Thanks a lot ! That's great to hear :) and yes indeed you will never find the end of the world as it's infinitely generated, unless your computer runs out of memory because I didn't make a chunk unloading system oops
Nice game, well done !

Fun game, loved how overpowered I got after getting all the upgrades, then I just tried digging straight down until my pc started lagging haha.
Some minor things I noticed:
1. When leaving the mine, it was really easy to re-enter it by mistake if you hold W.
2. I had some problems with the lighting being too dark but after further inspection it seems to be a problem with the web version of the game only.
3. I never felt the need to go deeper since all the expensive ores are right next to me, in my opinion more expensive ores should appear deeper and cheaper ones should be near the start.

@kazuren Thanks for the kind words ! I would definitely have polished it more if I hade more time I definitely would have tweaked the generation I agree that it's pointless to go further right now, rendering some abilities useless (like the light duration). And also yeah I could have placed the mine entrances differently to avoid this running back and forth.

It wasn't immediately clear whether some blocks would require multiple hits to clear or not, as they were right by the entrance. You'd assume the harder stuff was a bit further in. I found my lantern fuel ran out when the bar still showed some left in it, and on my first try this actually locked up my controls. I only tried the web build. For starters I would recommend a bit more fuel to be forgiving while the player learns how to play.
I love these types of game. Very fun.

if the character doesn't return before the flashlight runs out of power and goes into the cave, the game freezes, but game nice

@mrv I'm aware of that bug, it doesn't occur on the Windows build but yeah that happens on the web build :c
fun game, I actually had to stop playing because I was playing too long instead of getting bored or finishing the game. Some annoying things though are that when you enter a cave if you hold down forward you exit instantly, another thing is going at a crawling pace because of hitting corners and your light runs out. Otherwise great jam game
Cool game, finished it, had fun. Ore vein and cave generation works good, I really liked that. Lantern upgrade was kind of useless, backpack fills much faster anyway. Also always re-entering the mine right after exited it was a little annoying

Fun upgrade'm up game. Feels super good once I reach strip miner status. I mined and upgraded until I realized that no matter how much gold I collected, there would only ever be the mines. The houses which lay beyond my cage could never be mine to enjoy. The seesaw would be left unridden forever.

Cool idea! Great execution! love the art and vibe as well. Only this as for debugging, whenever you get sent back by force because the lamp dies, the game freezes completely and i couldn't figure out how to get out of it without restarting the program. Keep going!
The town setting helped ground the adventure. I also liked how plentiful the ores were. It was hard to see ores in the dark, especially before upgrading to be able to mine brighter ores, but staying near the entrance was still a reasonably paced way to get rich. I don't know if there was time to add an ending, but I feel like using maximum speed to launch yourself from the seesaw into freedom would be a fun way to escape the pen.

Interesting game. I did find it a little confusing at first as it wasn't completely clear which blocks were breakable, but once I figured that out it worked pretty well.
